In Belgium, Dr. Steven Laureys and his team have spent many years with patients who have had near-death experiences

They report that near-death experiences are 'more vivid than real events'.

'Afterlife' feels 'even more real than real,' researcher says

Comments at the Mail online include:

It's real. It happened to me when I was 8. I am in my 50s now and remember it vividly. The amazing thing is that my memories are so similar to everyone else's near-death experience.

We don't die....we were never born... We are NOT our 'physical' bodies....we are living in a type of hologram (as though we are in a computer game) ...we are spirits/enegy fields having a physical experience, but it's not actually physical....the world you see around you today is the one you yourself have created in the 'past Now' We are hear to learn what our consciousness already the love, that's kind, give unconditional love and you will evolve...

There are "microtubules" in the brain that appear to work on a quantum level. In a sense, we exist in another dimension but we are like drone operators of our bodies here - and these mysterious neurons are a sort of antenna. When the brain stops or is destroyed, you realize you don't really exist in this material dimension, you were just controlling and experiencing the world through your body. This theory works for me. Still doesn't explain the meaning of life, but does mean that our consciousness will persist after our bodies are gone.

Had an experience like this at age 12 having tonsils and adenoids removed....Saw a lake and a shoreline, then a bright lite and a voice telling me it was not for me to come there yet...and return....Can never forget this..

Windows is shutting down. Of course, if you are a Buddhist, you'll reboot, possibly after installing updates.

I dont know how people can go through life thinkin that there is nothing more. im not a body with a soul, im a soul who currently has a body. I dont pretend to know what happens after but it must be something but ill tell you something. I wont let any religion tell me what happens. ill just keep an open mind and hope its many many years till I find out myself.

To all those doubters about an afterlife -just try and understand quantum physics and it makes life after death easy. Particles that travel backwards in time -particles that appear in more than one place at the same time "superposition" particles that behave differently when being observed than when not observed -and others that we are made of. Then there is other dimensions and we can live in several realities "doppelgänger ". Life after death is kids stuff -check quantum reality-and this is science--disbelieve this and argue with a scientist

The mainstream NWO people deny this and actually employ people to rubbish things such as this, the megga-quack James Randi the conjuror, enters into realms he knows sod all about and rubishes NDAs and alternative medicine, over here in the UK we had the now disgraced Dr Susan Blackmore, and the nutjob Richard Wiseman, there is also Ben Goldacre, ( they are normally jews ) and other pseudo experts, people must make up their own mind.

The main bodies who try to discredit NDEs make themselves look foolish, these are the same people who advocate homosexuality
and vaccinations etc
it has become a cottage industry
to be negative about the beauty
of the NDE

I hav always felt this to be true. There are examples of this all over the world but kept hidden from the mainstream.

In fact Edgar Cayce who could go into the trance state said the same. He some how received information concerning how to cure people with diseases who were great distances from him.

NDE appears to be quite related to the concept of Eternal Recurrence.

The Irishman Tom Kitt has done much to establish YOUR OWN ABILITY to achieve awareness of this non-physical, eternal part of yourself. His writings are all at his website, some in PDF-download format:

NF: Most people know of Eternal Recurrance from Eliade's book The Myth of the Eternal Return. Francis Ford Coppola made a movie of one of Eliade's stories, YOUTH WITHOUT YOUTH with Tim Roth. Not really for beginners, but explores the concept most visually.

The BBC is to blame for much of the nonsense spoken on this subject as they follow the marxist line on dumbing down
Recently there was an invited studio audience to debate life after death, but the panel hada philosopher an atheist a painter
a quck psychologist, not one expert on the subject, and after editing the programme went out just showing those who were either ignorant or against discussion on the topic

I agree with the Comment on how irrelevant the BBC now is, no one i know watches it, everyone says RT ( russia TV ) is far more open minded truthful and relovent.
In W W II my earliest memories were having neighbours in to crowd round the radio to listen to Germany Calling with Lord haw haw, he was a bit of a hero to Londoners

1. NDEs are obviously quite common
2. They never last more then a few hours or days.
3. After that, there is no indication that life goes on.

NDE literature is largely paid for by NWO New Age nts.

You can't trust such testimonies, since people hallucinate and dream when they have these NDE's.

The truth about death is that death leads to immediate heaven or hell, depending only on whether a person believed in the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior, or not. We are all sinners, and we can't work away our sins, we can't be good enough to make our sins go away, and we can't do religions to make our sins go away.

That is why Jesus Christ, God Himself, died on the cross to pay for all of our sins, and then Jesus rose from the dead. So to be in heaven, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior, that easy! Ask Jesus to have you in heaven, and He will.

It always amuses me when I see science fans refer to temselves as sceptics as they try to dismiss near death experience, Rupert Sheldrake's morphic resonance theory or ideas related to quantum entanglement.

They're so pedantic they don't understand that a true sceptic neither believes nor disbelieves but questions. And the more things are questioned, the more it should become clear that most of what we think we know is wrong.

NDE's will not be understood until you understand who and where you are. You are consciousness, and this is your current experience, your main point of view at this minute is this dimension we call the 3rd, there are many others layered on top of one another, this brings us to string theory/quantum physics. we now know that parts of our DNA are continuously disappearing are reappearing, they are experiencing different realities whilst still being "present" in this one. You are more like an observer than anything else, and the whole world around you exists within a 2cm spot inside your brain. The electrical waveform energy you decode with your eyes and ears is the same, but your consciousness decides wether you like or dislike these things. This is why people who damage certain areas of the brain decode reality different, Autistic Savants are a brilliant example, even though they see the world different, they are still conscious, and it is consciousness that lives on after death. The truth is, there is no death, because this isn't even real life, ever had a dream you were so sure was real?? Thats like death, boom, and you will have "woke up" And remember, we have documented thousands upon thousands of NDE's, if one of them is true, just one.. Then we have NDE's, same goes for all other paranormal phenomena...The day science begins to study non-physical phenomena, it will make more progress in one decade than in all the previous centuries of its existence - Nikola Tesla
