Friedrich Von Steuben, the gay German, chosen by Ben Franklin to be 'Father Of The U.S. Military'.

Friedrich von Steuben was schooled by Jesuits and, by the age of 16, was an officer in the Prussian military.

The gay Frederick the Great placed von Steuben on his personal staff.

In 1776, von Steuben was forced to move house due to accusations of sexual activity with boys.

In 1776, Ben Franklin arrived in Gay Paris, accompanied by two boys: one, his grandson, William Temple Franklin, 16 years old, the illegitimate son of his illegitimate son; and the other Benjamin Franklin (Benny) Bache, the 7-year-old son of his daughter Sally.

Ben Franklin chose von Steuben as the ideal person to train the young men fighting the American War of Independence.

Franklin, and his companion Silas Deane, knew about a letter to the Prince of Hechingen:

"It has come to me from different sources that M. de Steuben is accused of having taken familiarities with young boys..."

Von Steuben transformed George Washington's military.

"When von Steuben took on the task of training the US rebels, he picked a handsome 17-year-old soldier as his secretary and personal assistant. The two were inseparable...

"Von Steuben's statue is a paean to homo-eroticism and camp irony. At the base, are the figures of two naked men, one advising the other in the art of swordmanship."

George Washington rewarded Von Steuben with a house at Valley Forge, which he shared with his aide-de-camps Capt. William North and Gen. Benjamin Walker.

Von Steuben left his wealth to North and Walker.

His will and testament, which includes the line "extraordinarily intense emotional relationship," has been described as a love letter to Walker.

Allegedly, historians in Paris have uncovered gay love letters exchanged by George Washington and his lover, Guy Raffleur III.

"From the depths of my heart, dearest friend; I live not for the setting sun, nor for the trickling water that abades my restlessness in the evenings. But for you I loathe the distance that divides us, that conquers our souls as though they were threshed wheat on a blustery plain; or a locked chest with naught but the treasures of islands lost. Dearest Guy, I wish for the day that we can retire in bliss in the hills of great lands and clutch each other as thieves clutch their gold. We will be Kings of the Universe and the creators of love."
