The person leading the opposition to independence for Scotland was once a Trotskyist and a leading member of Tony Blair's cabinet.

The spooky Alistair Darling was born in London.

He is the great-nephew of Sir William Darling, a Conservative MP.

He was educated at the private Loretto School.

He was a supporter of the British section of theTrotskyist Fourth International.

Darling was the government minister in charge when the personal and confidential details of over 25 million British citizens went missing while being sent from his department to the National Audit Office. A former Scotland Yard detective stated that with the current rate of £2.50 per person's details this data could have been sold for £60 million.[11]

I suppose he really believes what he has been taught about communism and it is ingrained, as it does all sound very convincing and right if you read the manifestos. I think it is man's plans, trying to work out how to live in this world leaving God out of it, and if you dont listen to the Holy Spirit then you can not differentiate right from wrong and end up in a great big stuff up. Thats what I think, anyway. People are so confused these days, because the people leading the country have either not been taught right from wrong, or have discarded moral virtues. I think Charles Dickens, though a very flawed man (none of us being perfect) was right on the ball when he wrote Hard Times. The children in Mr Gradgrinds school were being taught all sorts of clever things, but they were actively discouraged from learning such things like Galatians 5 v 22.
