Google wrecked YouTube and now they are making similar horrid changes at Blogger.

What do people think of the new look on Blogger?

Where Is The Option To Edit An Old Post ?

By TerenceTowlesCanoteebvj

Quite frankly, I think the old Blogger interface is far superior and much easier to use.

It is not immediately obvious how to access one's settings, templates, et. al, much less make a post.

All of these were on tabs on the old interface.

And there is far too much white, so much so it is blinding.

Indeed, I have trouble reading the text!

I think Google best ditch this new interface and stick with the old one!

Google insider John Hennessy sells USD 113K of Google stock.

April 4, 2012 - "Let's take a quick, high-level look at insider trading at Google Inc over the past 12 months.

"A total of 2,713,879 shares of Google Inc stock was sold by insiders, totaling $1,584,889,690. Over the same time 12 month time period, no shares of Google Inc were purchased by company insiders."

They also completely fucked up google maps. The neat mouse handling of paths when using routing is gone. The whole interactivity is gone, the whole superiority of google in comparison to other sites is gone.

I hate the new interface too and, yes, the overabundance of white is rather obnoxious. There is an option to switch back to the old design in the upper right hand corner if you look for it.

I despise what they have done to YouTube. It is no longer a fun place to go for material or simply to browse. Almost all site individuality has been taken away and I imagine that is part of the purpose of redoing it.

The personal touch of comments on the channel page is gone and that ruins so much of it.

So far, for Blogger, I am making do and avoiding the new templates which are hell to get out of once you even just try them on to see how they look.
