Is Obama sending a message to the UK's politicians?

Is this the reason for The Telegraph newspaper telling us about the expenses of UK members of parliament?

Brown took the UK's troops out of Iraq.

"Right now the US president is angry at the UK's response ... to his call for more military aid in Afghanistan...

"Brown's decision to send just a temporary force of 700 British troops to join the 8,300 already in Helmand and provide security during the August election, fell way short of the thousands of troops Obama was hoping to get from the prime minister as the UK pulls out of Iraq.

"It also falls short of the 10,000 permanent troops British military chiefs insist is necessary to bring stability to the Helmand-Kandahar region..."

- Can the UK afford its Washington ties?

If you want to restore your credibility with us send more troops ... / More British troops needed in Afghanistan 'to safeguard reputation ...

CIA Tactics and methods

"This is the framework within which every aspect of our lives will be managed and regulated by a gargantuan government bureaucracy designed to control and shape every aspect of our behavior through our dependence on technology.

"This is what Nancy Pelosi was referring to when she visited China last week and let slip the fact that 'Every aspect of our lives must be subject to inventory...'"
