Juval Aviv book to blame US secret service for Lockerbie - PanAm 103

Juval Aviv is president of Interfor, a New York-based international security firm. -

In a new book, Juval Aviv is to blame the American secret service, and Iran, for the Lockerbie Bomb - PanAm 103.

Juval Aviv is a former major in the Israeli Defence Force, and thus may want (1) to hide any deep Mossad involvement and (2) promote the probably false idea that Iran was somehow to blame.

According to Scotland on Sunday, 23 December 2007 :

"Aviv, who acted as lead investigator for Pan Am during the Lockerbie inquiry, admits that his book is a thinly veiled account of what he is convinced really happened in December 1988...

"In the book, the American secret services turn a blind eye to the plot and ensure that three CIA agents, who are due to blow this whistle on a internal heroin dealing racket, are aboard the doomed eponymous flight." - Lockerbie story heads to Hollywood

But what about Mossad?

According to the BBC: BBC News WORLD Lockerbie: Conspiracy theories "An internal investigation by Pan Am is believed to have found that the bomb planted on Flight 103 was put on the plane during a stop-over in Frankfurt... The Pan Am report is believed to have concluded that the bomb was not aimed at the killing of Americans in general, but was targeted specifically to kill a small band of DIA operatives that had uncovered a drugs ring run by a 'rogue' CIA unit in Lebanon... The drugs-ring and the connection to Hezbollah is said to have been set up by Israeli Mossad agents."

Reportedly the 'Lockerbie bomb maker' Marwan Abdel Razzack Khreeshat worked for US intelligence. - aangirfan: Lockerbie, Drugs and the CIA
