"Big Jock Knew" is a saying that is popular among football fans in Glasgow.

This saying refers to Jock Stein, the former manager of Celtic Football Club.

In the early 1970s, young boys were sexually abused by certain people at the club.

Stein is reputeded to have known about this and not reported the matter to the authorities, and also been part of a cover up within Celtic Football Club.

"Celtic's former board were part of an astonishing cover-up over abuse allegations."

It looks like Celtic Football Club could be in trouble.

"John Reid suffered a baptism of fire at his inauguration as Celtic chairman yesterday when he was barracked as a 'war criminal' from the floor at the Glasgow club's AGM...

"Jeanette Findlay of the Celtic Supporters' Trust... claimed Reid would be 'forever identified with a political and human disaster' and that he was a 'hate figure at home and abroad'. Amid similar comments - one supporter said he had been visiting Celtic Park for 60 years but would not renew his season ticket on account of Reid's new role." - Attacks and accusations greet incoming Reid at Celtic
