Sir Stephen Lander and the Serious Organised Crime Agency

The UK has its own FBI. It is called SOCA, the Serious Organised Crime Agency.

Soca is headed by Sir Stephen Lander, who was the boss of MI5 from 1996 to 2002.

Sir Stephen Lander is Jewish, according to an article at:

According to The Guardian, 31 March 2007, A year on, UK's FBI has little to celebrate.

The Guardian reports that, according to an unpublished internal Mori survey, less than 5% of SOCA staff are satisfied with the way that Soca is being run.

Since Soca was set up, 'published figures show UK drug seizures have fallen rather than risen'.

The Guardian reports that, between 2003-04 and 2005-06, cocaine seizures dropped from 20,727kg to 5,798kg, cannabis from 57,617kg to 41,611kg, heroin from 1,626kg to 1,057kg.

2. At 11 O'clock local time on June 22, 2004, three British speed boats with eight navy personnel on board trespassed Iranian borders and were arrested by Iranian coast guards.
3. At 21:30 local time on November 1, 2006, two British Black awks (choppers) from Royal Navy hovered at the height of 150 meters at 47,700-17,400 coordinates on Khorramshahr map (Pole-No: new bridge) violating Iranian airspace and they entered Iraqi territory through 62,500-15,500 coordinates after 10 minutes.
4. On January 27, 2007 a British helicopter flew over mouth of Arvandrud (Arvand river) and violated Iran's airspace and they left the area after a warning from Iranian coast guards.

Dominic Lawson, Con Coughlin and MI6

David Leigh wrote about 'Britain’s security services and journalists: the secret story' in the British Journalism ReviewVol. 11, No. 2, 2000, pages 21-26.

According to Leigh: "British journalists – and British journals – are being manipulated by the secret intelligence agencies."

Leigh gave us an example from 1995 when the Sunday Telegraph published a story about the son of Col Gadafy of Libya and his alleged connection to a currency counterfeiting plan.

According to Leigh: "The story was written by Con Coughlin, the paper’s then chief foreign correspondent, and it was falsely attributed to a 'British banking official'. In fact, it had been given to him by officers of MI6, who, it transpired, had been supplying Coughlin with material for years."

According to leigh, former spy Richard Tomlinson heard that "within MI6 there was a 'national newspaper editor' who was used as an agent, and had received up to £100,000 in covert payments, accessed at an offshore bank, via a false passport obligingly supplied by MI6 itself."

Dominic Lawson, then editor of the Sunday Telegraph, denied that he was a spy.

David Tomlinson's book The Big Breach: From Top Secret to Maximum Security, published by a Russian company, covered Tomlinson's 4 years in MI6 from 1991 to 1995.

Tomlinson claimed that Dominic Lawson worked for MI6 and his codename was 'Smallbrow'.

Dominic Lawson was born into an influential Jewish family.

Lawson is currently an Editorial and Opinion writer for The Independent and other titles including the Mail on Sunday.

War on Terror

"Reagan declared that he would confront 'the evil scourge of terrorism... So, the people in office in the 1980s and many in office today, in carrying out the 'war on terror' were committing some of the worst and most abominable terrorist acts in history. Nicaragua is just the tip of the iceberg. The Reagan administration practically destroyed the rest of Central America, killing innocent people in the hundreds of thousands. It's possible the region may never recover because there has been too widespread devastation. What The Trap left out

'The Trap: What Happened To Our Dream Of Freedom' is a three part BBC documentary by Adam Curtis.

Curtis suggests that from the Cold War onwards, our governments have been reducing our freedoms. Curtis suggests that our governments view us in 'simplistic, computerised terms'.

The third episode of 'The Trap' is entitled 'We Will Force You To Be Free'.

This episode began with political philosopher Isaiah Berlin.

Berlin, in his essay Two Concepts Of Liberty, referred to "positive" and "negative" freedom.

"Positive freedom" is sometimes favoured by revolutionaries and tyrants who think they know what is good for us.

"Negative freedom" is favoured by Neo Conservatives, the people who reportedly want to bring American-style democracy to Iraq.

Curtis believes that the Neo Conservatives have produced a trap: they have made us think we are free whereas in reality our freedom is very much restricted.

Curtis ended the programme by suggesting that the revolutions that bring "positive freedom" do not necessarily have to involve violence.

Curtis talked a lot about violence.

He told us that the Americans used violence to try topple the democratically elected government of Nicaragua. He told us that the Americans toppled Marcos and brought in a regime that left the corrupt elite in power.

What Curtis failed to tell us about was Operation Gladio.

The Bologna Bomb 1980, Gladio, terrorism in Europe

Operation Gladio was organised by 'fascists' within the security services of the West.

Reportedly, the idea was to kill innocent people and then blame this on others.

Gladio was about keeping the right-wing elite in power.

Gladio agent Vincenzo Vinciguerra stated, in sworn testimony: "You had to attack civilians, the people, women, children, innocent people, unknown people far removed from any political game. The reason was quite simple: to force ... the public to turn to the state to ask for greater security."

Italian Prime Minister Giulio Andreotti revealed the existence of Gladio in 1991.

The new element is that in Britain the state retains control but subcontracts delivery, usually at much greater expense, to friends in the private sector. Not a week passes without this system showing obvious signs of collapse. A computer sends thousands of passports to the wrong people, including terrorists. Education reform

Lower the school leaving age; shorten the school day

If we lower the school leaving age and shorten the school day, children will learn more. That is the paradox.

In the United Kingdom, the state school system has failed.
We know some British teenagers who do not know the name of the capital city of their own country. They can barely read and write. Yet they are of average intelligence.

British state schools are bad and getting worse. Many should be closed down.
A re-think of education is required.

All schools should be run privately by non-profit making trusts.
All schools should be small.

The school day should be about 3 hours.

The school leaving age should be around 12.

Much more use should be made of apprenticeships, learning by computer, and 'special' schools.
BBC 1 television should show educational programmes only.

Mothers of young children should stay at home and not go out to work.

According to an article in the Daily Mail, 1 June 2006, more than half of school leavers have problems with the basics:

Hundreds of thousands of teenagers have such poor mastery of the three Rs they cannot scrape a grade C in the two subjects employers and parents regard as crucial.

They are finishing compulsory schooling without the literacy and numeracy skills they need to "participate in life, learning and work" despite a raft of multi-billion pound Labour initiatives...

And the inability of pupils to get good grades comes despite widespread suspicions that exams have been dumbed down in recent years...

Forty-two per cent of pupils finished 11 years of compulsory education without achieving at least a grade C in GCSE English which means they struggle to read and summarise information accurately or use basic grammar...

Forty-eight per cent - or 301,671 - failed to reach the same standard in GCSE maths meaning they are unable to calculate the area of a room.

A total of 54 per cent - nearly 350,000 - fail to achieve the expected level in both English and maths.

The official exams watchdog, the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA), says pupils need to meet grade C standard - so-called "level two" - to function as citizens...

Just 46 per cent leave school able to read, write and add up properly.

A three hour school day; a school leaving age of 12

The 1819 Factory Act in the UK limited the working day for children in cotton mills.

What we need now is a Schools Act limiting the school day to three hours.

I would suggest that school hours could be 9 am to 12 noon.

Very few children can concentrate on school work for more than 3 hours per day.

When children are not at school they can enjoy being children.

Interests will vary:

1. Children can work at home or in libraries on interesting homework projects. It would help if every child was given a computer.

2. They can join clubs involved in everything from sport to music to carpentry to journalism ....

3. They can become apprentices in safe and interesting occupations.

4. They can explore their world.
Mothers of younger children will be able to spend more time with their offspring.

An official at the Department for Education and Skills stated: "If we want parents to go out to work to support the family, the days of schools simply being open from 9am to 3pm are over."

Zoe Williams writes: "8 till 6 is a bloody long day."

Who are the terrorists?

There have been a number of 'Islamic terror groups' in Indonesia.

They all seem to be linked to the military: MI6 or the CIA or American trained generals.

1. Islamic guerrillas in the 1960s - supported by Britain's MI6

2. Komando Jihad, which became Jemaah Islamiah - 'set up by American trained generals.'

3. Laskar Jihad - 'set up by American trained generals.'
4. Bali bomb mastermind Al Faruq - 'worked for the CIA.'

The following is from The Independent (UK):

"Cabinet papers show that British spies, including MI6, supported Islamic guerrillas in order to destabilise Sukarno." (Revealed: Healey admits role in British dirty tricks campaign to overthrow Indonesia's President Sukarno, By Paul Lashmar and James Oliver, The Independent - 16 April 2000) The Secret State: MI5 (Home Office/MoD), The Security Service and ...

Indonesian special forces regiment Kopassus is trained by the Americans.

Kopassus 'set up a Moslem terror group called Komando Jihad.'

According to Dr Damien Kingsbury, head of philosophical, political and international studies at Deakin University:

"Kopassus... has engaged in... hostage rescue missions. The first was in 1981, when a Garuda aircraft was hijacked.... Kopassus... set up the Islamic organisation Komando Jihad that hijacked the plane in 1981 and which has since emerged as Jemaah Islamiah." We must not get back in bed with Kopassus -

Jakarta human-rights activist Bonar Naipospos told Asia Times Online: "General Suparman is one of the generals who was behind the extremist Jihad groups. He set up militias composed of gangsters and religious fanatics to counter student demonstrations in 1998. One of these militias, Pram Swarkasa, became the embryo of Laskar Jihad." Asia Times We must not get back in bed with Kopassus -

According to a news story in the Sydney Morning Herald, November 2, 2002:
"Some time around the 30 October 2002, senior officers in the Indonesian military HQ gave a piece of information to a military attache from a Western embassy in Indonesia -the source of explosive used in the October 12 bombing in Bali was the head of the counter-terrorism unit with the army's special forces."
The father-in-law of the officer concerned is Hendropriyono, Indonesia's spy chief.
Allegedly, Kuwaiti citizen Omar Al Faruq played a part in the Bali bomb plot. Al Faruq was arrested in Bogor on June 5, 2002 and handed over to US authorities. Al Faruq was able to escape from custody.
Former Indonesian State Intelligence Coordinating Board (BAKIN) chief A.C. Manulang was quoted by Tempo as saying that Al-Faruq was a CIA-recruited agent.
The airline manifest of Garuda airlines shows that at least two generals from Jakarta visited Bali three days before the bombings and that they returned to Jakarta one day before the Sari Club was blown up. This was confirmed by armed forces chief General Sutarto, who claimed that General Djaja Suparman was on vacation, while General Ryamizard Riyacudu, chief of staff, was said to have gone to Bali for health reasons.

If you tie this in with Musharraf’s claim that Omar Saeed Sheikh is a British intelligence agent – something which, on its face, makes a lot of sense – the KSM confession may be part of a campaign to get Omar Saeed Sheikh out of the Pakistani jail in which he supposedly still sits.
