Syria's Monzer Al Kassar, a friend of the Assad family, reportedly worked with the USA's Colonel Oliver North.
Reportedly, Al Kassar sold heroin to the USA and some of the profits were used by North to buy arms for the fascist Nicaraguan Contras.
The US Tower Commission probe into Irangate revealed that Al Kassar had been paid $1.2 million by Oliver North's coconspirator General Richard Secord to move weapons from Israel to the Contras.
In her book "October Surprise," former Reagan White House aide Barbara Honegger alleged that Al Kassar's heroin smuggling network in Italy was used to send NATO arms to Iran with the help of Italian intelligence officials linked to the Masonic lodge, P2.
Al Kassar was reported to hold large tracts of land in Lebanon's Bekaa Valley.

The CIA reportedly wanted to destroy Major Charles McKee and his team who had gathered evidence of CIA drug smuggling and who were flying to the USA to act as whistleblowers.

Lester Coleman, a Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) officer worked with the secret unit, Middle East Collection 10 (MC10) in Cyprus.
Two senior MC10 members, Mathew Kevin Gannon and Major Charles Dennis McKee, were on PanAm flight 103 when it exploded; they had just returned from a mission in Beirut.
Coleman explained that the Drugs Enforcement Administration (DEA), with the narcotics squad of the Cypriot national police, the German BKA police and British customs, ran an operation through Cyprus and airports in Europe, including Frankfurt.
The operation involved delivering heroin from the Bekaa Valley in Lebanon to the United States; the operation was codenamed "Khourah." Coleman maintained that Pan Am Flight 103 was being used by the DEA.
3. Reportedly, Lockerbie was about heroin.

Pan Am hired the private investigative firm of Interfor to look into the bombing.
Interfor maintained that PanAm 103 was part of a heroin smuggling route run by a drug trafficking ring protected by the CIA.
Interfor claimed the ring was overseen by Monzer Al Kassar.
The CIA and DEA had apparently both instructed Germany's internal intelligence agency, the BKA, to allow certain suitcases to pass uninspected onto US bound flights at the Frankfort airport, where Flight 103 originated.
A suitcase which was supposed to be full of the usual heroin was covertly substituted with a suitcase full of explosives.
4. Reportedly, the CIA interfered with the evidence in the Lockerbie case.

Within hours of Pan Am 103 exploding over the small Scottish village, CIA agents were swarming over the wreckage...
Aboard the downed plane was a secret, five-man Defence Intelligence Agency 'team' headed by Major Charles 'Tiny' McKee.
A suitcase belonging to McKee was recovered and emptied before being returned to the site to be 'found' again.
Inside had been a large quantity of Heroin, some 'sensitive' documents, plus a large quantity of cash and travellers cheques.
These items were 'purged' from official records.
Incredibly, an unidentified body was also removed from the crash site.
No official explanation has been given for these extraordinary examples of evidence tampering.
5. In 1989, the drug smuggling continued.
In 1989, CNN aired a report that included clandestine video pictures of members of the Colombian drug cartel meeting with Syrian drug lords in Larnaca, Cyprus.

There may have been a fall out over heroin, but the recent Syrian Crisis is (in my opinion) based on a different set of criteria.
It is based on the Globalist strategy of creating an 'arc of tension', and, further, instability and weakness among North African and Middle Eastern countries.
The prize and objective is bigger than heroin smuggling.
It's partly to make the Mediterranean Sea a Globalist lake.
Syria is the last significant Mediterranean shoreline that is independent from the Western oriented Globalists. Algeria is semi-independent from the West, and, guess what, an "Arab Spring" gambit was abortively tried there, too, but it never got off the ground. Algeria's shoreline is much less strategic than Syria's.
But Zionist and Israeli objectives are definitely part of the motivation, too.
Zionists want to "exterminate" the Assad government (I have that on high authority -- personal knowledge -- "Exterminate" is a direct quote from a reliable source).
The word choice is surprising for its vivid & blunt viciousness, but not the general objective -- that is well known.
But more ominous is the strategy:
The Western press has been blaming the Assad government for mass slaughter, when in reality, the rebels/insurgents are the ones slaughtering innocents.
The Zionists think the 'Western Press Cover' is enough to fool the American People and other Western publics. My suspicion based on this source, is that Zionists will claim that Assad is bent on and engaged in committing Christian Genocide (some 10% of the Syrian population is Christian out of 22 million people overall).
Of course, it would be really the opposite, the rebels slaughtering Christians, with the rebels armed and trained by the West, Gulf Cooperation Council, and, apparently, Israel.
But with an impending Christian Genocide allegedly to be perpetrated by the Assad regime, that would tip the political balance in America for full-fledged military intervention to "stop the Christian Genocide" and allow the "extermination" of the Assad government.
Of course, this is all patently absurd, as the Christian minority stands either with their fellow minority Muslim Alawite sect Assad government or is against armed insurrection because they know what would happen if there was a full on drive to exterminate the Assad government by the Muslim Brotherhood and other radicalized Muslim factions.
Still, the Zionists are very confident of their ability to direct & control the American corporate press (with good reason as they own or control almost all of it), and are arrogant enough to think they can pull it off.
A "Christian Genocide" might also give the Zionists the cover they need to go into Syria to physically control at least parts of the country or all of it, if the violence got too bad (cynically with Israeli assistence).
Israel needs to commit genocide if they are to fulfill their objective of creating a Greater Israel from the banks of the Nile to the banks of the Euphrates.
A 'Class of Civilizations' might be the avenue Israel needs to exterminate any Arabs standing in the way of Greater Israel.
But first they need to get rid of the Christians in Syria.
What better way than to blame it on the Assad Government -- no matter that any objective observer would know that is false.
Conclusion: Zionists (of the Greater Israel mind-set) are sociopathically out of control (some would call it being insane).
