Certain documents explain how child abuse networks are protected.

The first document was a death bed testimony from an old woman named Jacqueline Smolders. 

(Schaarbeek Police, Jacqueline Smolders interview, March 18, 1997)

Smolders started out by saying:

"I want to testify in relation to the murdered and missing children, the investigation of which is ongoing at the District Attorney's Office and the examining magistrate in Neufchateau."

Smolders spoke about Le Stanley, a club in Brussels that organized sex orgies. 

It existed from the 1960s until1972. 

Smolders was a member at the time and knew the owner, Marcel Hofmans. 

Members of the club included Belgian executives of U.S. corporations including IBM and Union Carbide.

At the club was a young black girl that Smolders thought could well have been Virginie Baranyanka, the lawyer of Michel Nihoul who was part of the Dutroux child kidnap and murder scandal in Belgium.

Smolders suspected that at least several members of club Le Stanley must have known Nihoul.


Loubna Benaissa

Smolders was virtually certain that the father of the murderer of Loubna Benaissa (Dutroux Affair) had been a member of Le Stanley.



Smolders testified: "In the club was a member whom I didn't know by name but who was in the possession of a private airplane.

"He flew to Switzerland to get these films for Le Stanley.

"I know these films were flown from Sweden to Switzerland where the member in question went to pick them up."

"One day, in 1969, this plane crashed over the province of Namur with all the pornographic material onboard. 

"The police intervened and all the pornographic material was confiscated.

Mary Porsont, who used to work at La Piscine, one of the clubs owned by Marcel Hofmans in the early 1990s, has also given a testimony that appears in the Dutroux files.

In the 1993-1994 period she worked for the labour union SETca (Syndicat des employés, techniciens et cadres) and the Socialist Party.

Among the people she got to know was a certain Richard de Groot.

De Groot soon introduced her to Roger Labarbe, the national chairman of the SETCa.

They offered her to come with them to sexual orgies, for which she would get a considerable compensation (she needed money).

The three of them subsequently went to the swing club Hoeve Bornedries, which, according to de Groot and Labarbe, belonged to former defense minister Guy Coeme, who got burnt in the Agusta scandal (ELIO DI RUPO).

More frequently they would go to the private club La Lune des Pirates, which was later renamed La Piscine.

Porsont eventually ended up working at La Piscine.

"In the half year I worked at La Piscine I did not see any pedophile activity.

"But I did hear enough about the bizarre sexual preferences of so called higher ups and that there were possibilities to organize orgies with children.

"A certain Eric and Nina asked me to approach those higher ups who came to us at La Piscine and left their phone number with offers of special evenings.

"Especially Nottebaert ('a socialist politician who liked Sadism and Masochism') but also quite a few ministers turned out to be very interested in those kind of evenings.

Marcel Hofmans reportely set up a Belgian branch of the (reportedly CIA-linked) Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh Cult which shared headquarters with La Piscine.

The Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh cult (later called Osho) practiced free sexual relations.

In April 1994, the address of this Bhagwan sect was changed to the Kammenstraat 29, 2000 Antwerp.

On November 27, 1995, police conducted a search at this very same address.

They were looking for Eric Mattheeussen, who had been accused of taking illegal photographs at a morgue in the aftermath of a tragic traffic accident.

Mattheussen used this building as a storage or working place.

In this building, the police found many boxes.



"In these boxes we find amongst other things thousands of photos of children...

"We find hundreds of pictures of corpses of children, often in the most hideous poses.

"Many of the pictures have been made by himself; other pictures were made on order by other photographers. ...

"In several boxes we find child pornography...  penetrations of often very young children by grown ups, and also some very unusual pedophile fantasies. ... Pictures of deceased children in concentration camps... newspaper clippings of prominent disappearances."

Former Charleroi mayor and Walloon prime minister Jean-Claude van Cauwenbergh (who followed Elio di Rupo in this last position) reportedly has ties to child abuse networks.

The following is a 2004 letter written by Hans Laroes, editor in chief of the NOS News (one of the most respected news programs in the Netherlands), to the Council for Journalism:

"Already in 2000 top public official Joris Demmink attracted the attention of the research office of the [NOS] News.

"In march that year we did an investigation with the question if the Belgian Marc Dutroux Affair had tentacles in the Netherlands. 

"It was the time that the Zandvoort child porn case had relit and the media was laying in front of the door of the Belgian Morkhoven workgroup. 



"The name Joris Demmink had been given to me in conversations with detectives. 

"These spoke about a 1998 investigation, ran from a very secret location in Utrecht: an investigation into a network of top public officials, two district attorneys (19 in total at the time in the Netherlands), a former minister, a former attorney of the Queen and a single professor who would have sex with underaged boys. 

"The investigation had begun at the direction of the College of Prosecuter-Generals - instigated by the district attorney of Amsterdam, Vrakking.

"Demmink played an important role in that investigation. Detectives had suspected that this top public official had given information to one of the main suspects, the Amsterdam professor Van R., with whom he was friends. Because of that, the professor avoided prosecution, the detectives stated."

The letter recalled how in October 2003 both the Gay Krant and Panorama magazines had published an article about Demmink (not giving his name), who was Holland's secretary-general of justice, and his apparent involvement in child abuse...

During the February 5 hearing, Noreen Gosch gave the court sworn testimony linking U.S. Army Lt. Col. Michael Aquino (ret.) to the nationwide pedophile ring.

Her son, Johnny, then 12 years old, was kidnapped off the streets of West Des Moines, Iowa on September 5, 1982, while he was doing his early-morning newspaper deliveries.

"Alarmed by accusations made by her child, a parent had sought a medical examination that confirmed that her three-year-old boy had in fact been anally raped...

"Within a year, at least sixty additional victims had been identified... Many of the children also spoke of having guns pointed at them and of being told that they and/or their parents and siblings would be killed if they told anyone what had been done to them...

"Five of the children had contracted chlamydia, a sexually transmitted disease; many others showed clear signs of anal and genital trauma consistent with violent penetration...

"One mother complained to the San Francisco Chronicle that the FBI never interviewed her or her son, even after doctors had confirmed the boy’s abuse...

"The American Journal of Orthopsychiatry noted in April 1992:

"'The severity of the trauma for children at the Presidio was immediately manifest in clear cut symptoms. 

"'Before the abuse was exposed, parents had already noticed the following changes in their children: vaginal discharge, genital soreness, rashes, fear of the dark, sleep disturbances, nightmares, sexually provocative language, and sexually inappropriate behavior.

"'In addition, the children were exhibiting other radical changes in behavior, including temper outbursts, sudden mood shifts, and poor impulse control. All these behavioral symptoms are to be expected in preschool children who have been molested...'

"The young witness claimed to have been photographed at the Aquinos’ home. On August 14, 1987, a search warrant was served on the house.

"Confiscated in the raid were numerous videotapes, photographs, photo albums, photographic negatives, cassette tapes, and name and address books. Also observed was what appeared to be a soundproof room.

"Neither of the Aquinos was charged with any crimes...

"The U.S. Attorney in San Francisco handling the case was Joseph Russoniello.

"Russoniello would later be identified by reporter Gary Webb (of the San Jose Mercury News) as a player in the Contra cocaine smuggling operation led by Lt. Col. Oliver North and company, just as witnesses would later identify Lt. Col. Michael Aquino as an operative in the very same sordid affair.

"In May 1989, Aquino was again questioned in connection with child abuse investigations; this time, at least five children in three cities were making the accusations. 

"The children had seen Aquino in newspaper and television coverage of the Presidio case and immediately recognized him as one of their abusers...


Bohemian Grove - Hanging

"Aquino was also identified by children in Santa Rosa and Fort Bragg, California.

"In the Fort Bragg case, 'allegations of ritual abuse erupted... in 1985 when several children at the Jubilation Day Care Center said they were sexually abused by a number of people at the day care center and at several locations away from the center, including at least two churches.'

"Aquino was identified as having been present at one of those churches...

"The Mercury News reported, 'by November, 1987 the Army had received allegations of child abuse at 15 of its day care centers and several elementary schools. There were also at least two cases in Air Force day care centers,' and another in a center run by the U.S. Navy.'

"In addition, 'a special team of experts was sent to Panama [in June 1988] to help determine if as many as 10 children at a Department of Defense elementary school had been molested and possibly infected with AIDS.'

"Yet another case emerged in a U.S.-run facility in West Germany.


Paul Bonacci is a victim and survivor of the Bohemian Grove Satanist elite, he prescribes sexual abuse, torture and the murder/sacrifice of children.

"These cases erupted at some of the country’s most esteemed military bases, including Fort Dix, Fort Leavenworth, Fort Jackson, and West Point.

"Many of those making the accusations were career military officers who had devoted their lives to unquestioned allegiance to the U.S. armed forces. Many would resign their posts in outraged protest...

"The Times Herald Record reported in June 1991, the 'incidents [at the West Point Child Development Center] unfolded against a backdrop of satanic acts, animal sacrifices and cult-like behavior among the abusers, whose activities extended beyond the U.S. Military Academy borders to Orange County and a military base in San Francisco, parents charged.'



"The case first broke in July 1984, when a three-year-old girl found herself in the emergency room of the West Point Hospital with a lacerated vagina. She told the examining physician that a teacher at the daycare center had hurt her...

"The Mercury News reported, 'by the end of the year, 50 children had been interviewed by investigators. Children at West Point told stories that would become horrifyingly familiar. They said they had been ritually abused. They said they had had excrement smeared on their bodies and been forced to eat feces and drink urine. They said they were taken away from the day care center and photographed.'

"Despite abundant medical and psychological evidence and literally dozens of child witnesses, and despite '950 interviews by 60 FBI agents assigned to the investigation,' the investigation, 'led by former U.S. Attorney [and future mayor] Rudolph Giuliani' produced 'no federal grand jury indictments,'" according to the Herald Record..."

Andrew Ash

Part Two of the Child Abuse Timeline. We include extracts from the blog Fighting Back and some additions:

1980's - A female member of the UK parliament sexually abused a thirteen-year-old boy called Andrew Ash.

Andrew Ash was brought from a government children's home, to parliament, to be sexually abused.

The female MP was part of a pedophile ring 'at the heart of government', a ring that included Sir Jimmy Savile.

Andrew was also trafficked to Amsterdam on a number of occasions.

Peter Hatton-Bornshin

1980's - As a child, Peter Hatton-Bornshin stayed at the local-government-run Grafton Close Children's Home.

He was forced to take part in drug-fuelled orgies at the Elm Guest House, orgies which involved top people.

When he was a little older, Peter was sent to Broadmoor mental hospital, where he died in mysterious circumstances.

Early 1980's - Derek Laud becomes first black member of the Conservative Monday club.

Portuguese President Jorge Sampaio

1981 - the Portuguese police accused the caretaker of a Casa Pia state-run children's home of raping dozens of children over a period of 30 years.

In the 1980s the police dropped their investigation and officials destroyed documents.

In 2004, news reports appearing in the Jornal de Noticias claimed that Portuguese President Jorge Sampaio and Portugal’s European Commissioner Antonio Vitorino had been mentioned in anonymous letters sent to the magistrates investigating the Casa Pia child abuse scandal.

1982 - Johnny Gosch is kidnapped, reportedly by the US military.

Noreen Gosch gave the court sworn testimony linking U.S. Army Lt. Col. Michael Aquino (ret.) to the nationwide pedophile ring that kidnapped her son.

Noreen Gosch said: "This ... was an offshoot of ... the MK-Ultra program developed in the 1950s by the CIA."

1983 - In Jordan, Minnesota, several children made allegations of satanic ritual abuse against their parents and an unrelated man.

The man confessed and then identified a number of the children’s parents as perpetrators.

Twenty-four adults were charged with child abuse though only three went to trial with two acquittals and one conviction.[53]

Despite strong medical findings of sexual assault, all other charges were dropped.

The children made allegations concerning child pornography, child murder, and ritual sacrifice.

According to a phone caller to a TV program: ''To find the solution to the case, go and see who's buried in the crypt of the basilica of Sant'Apollinare.''

The caller implied that Emanuela had been kidnapped as a favour to Cardinal Ugo Poletti.

The motive was said to be sexual.

De pedis allegedly supplied teens to cardinals for sex.

Mob boss, Enrico De Pedis was buried in a diamond-encrusted tomb in the central Roman Basilica of Sant’Apollinare, beside the Opus Dei University of the Holy Cross.

A former Conservative government minister is suspected to be linked to Sidney Cooke who tortured and killed 14-year-old Jason Swift in 1985.

1986 - San Francisco police began investigating claims of sexual abuse centering around the Army's Child Development Center at the Presidio of San Francisco.

In 1987, a girl identified Lt.-Col. Michael Aquino as the person who had had abused her.

Oude Pekela

1989 - a group of parents published allegations in a conservative magazine that their children had witnessed Satanic Ritual Abuse and had been ritually abused from May, 1987 until October 1988 in Oude Pekela, in the Netherlands.

During the initial investigation, only the non-ritual aspects were reported in the press and investigated by the authorities.

In 1989 the Christian news program Tijdsein reported allegations that included satanic ritual abuse, to which there was no official response. 

Oude Pekela doctors Fred Jonker and Ietje Jonker-Bakker alleged that several children had been abused by unknown men in the context of satanic rituals.
