India was bisexual until 1861.

In 1861, the British introduced a law to ban 'gay'activity.

Sri Sri Ravi Shankar

On 11 December 2013, the spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, named by Forbes Magazine as the fifth most powerful leader in India,[3] said that homosexuality had never been considered a crime in Hindu culture.

Sri Sri wrote on Twitter:

"Everyone has male and female elements.

According to their dominance, tendencies show up and may change."

In other words, best not to 'divide and rule' and make the whole issue political.

What most Indians do not want is commercial gay sex and gay parades of the sort seen in San Francisco.

What many don't mind is the sort of harmless same-sex friendships which have always existed, which don't involve the spread of AIDS, and which don't involve places of entertainment run by the various mafias.

India's top court has reinstated a ban on gay sex

On 11 December 2013, it was reported that India's Supreme Court has reinstated a colonial-era ban on gay sex.

Homosexuals can now be jailed for up to 10 years.

The ban on gay sex may be used by the CIA to manipulate the coming elections in India.

Narendra Modi, leader of the opposition BJP, is a bachelor.

There are rumours that he is gay.

It was when Britain made India its colony that the 'divide and rule' ban on 'gay sex' was introduced

Back in 2009, a Delhi High Court ruled that section 377 of the Indian penal code prohibiting "carnal acts against the order of nature" infringed the fundamental rights of Indians.

The 2009 High Court decision was strongly opposed by leaders of India's mad Muslims and fascist Christians, who appealed to the Supreme Court.

Most Indians are apparently bisexual.

Gandhi and Nehru were pretty gay.

Paul Rudnick was Gandhi's boyfriend.

Paul Rudnick asked Gandhi if he had come out to his parents.

Gandhi replied: "Oh, no, they're all old-school Hindu and they wouldn't understand."

Joseph Lelyveld wrote a book on Gandhi, Great Soul, which relates that Gandhi had a Jewish gay 'lover'.

Letters between Mahatma Gandhi and the Zionist Hermann Kallenbach are said to shed light on their 'loving relationship'

The letters were bought by the Indian government in July 2012.

Kallenbach, a German-born Jewish architect, met Gandhi in South Africa in 1904.

Gandhi and Kallenbach became constant companions.

Gandhi and Kallenbach lived together for two years in a house in South Africa.

They promised to give one another "more love, and yet more love... such love as they hope the world has not yet seen".

Balilla - Italian fascist youth group.

According to Lelyveld's book, Gandhi reportedly told Kallenbach: "How completely you have taken possession of my body. This is slavery with a vengeance."

Gandhi split with his wife so he could be with Kallenbach, according to Lelyveld.

Gandhi wrote that vaseline was a 'constant reminder' of Kallenbach.

The Indian Express, 5 February 1997, had an item on Prof Stanley Wolpert's biography of Nehru entitled 'Nehru: A Tryst With Destiny'.

http://www.dalitstan.org/journal/brahman/bra001/brah0111.html

Nehru's biographer revealed that Nehru apparently had 'gay tendencies'.

Prof Wolpert said his conclusions were based on "interviews with a lot of people and my own discussions with Nehru".

Wolpert implies that Nehru had homosexual encounters during his early years in Allahabad, and later at Harrow and Cambridge.

Wolpert describes occasions when Nehru dressed in drag:

"Wearing his wig, made up with lipstick, powder and eye shadow, his body draped in silks and satins, Jawahar most willingly offered himself up night after night to those endless rehearsals for the Gaekwar's At Home as a beautiful young girl, holding out her jug of wine and loaf seductively to her poet lover, Omar."

Wolpert says Nehru's first 'attachment' was with his young French teacher, Ferdinand Brooks.

Brooks was a disciple and lover of Charles Webster Leadbeater, 'who was accused of pederasty on several continents'.

Leadbeater 'advocated mutual masturbation among young boys'.

Wolpert points out that Nehru was a fan of Oscar Wilde.

Nehru was a friend of Lord Mountbatten.

On July 7 2013 it was reported that Madhya Pradesh finance minister Raghavji of the BJP had sodomy allegations levelled against him by a youth.

Raghavji's servant accused him of sexual abuse.

A video allegedly shows him in the act.

In Hinduism, there are:

"Deities that are hermaphrodite (half man, half woman). Deities that manifest in all three genders. Male deities who become female, or female deities who become male.

"Male deities with female moods, or female deities with male moods. Deities born from two males, or from two females. Deities who avoid the opposite sex, and Deities with principal companions of the same gender."

As for degrees, I always thought gay was gay with the variations merely being down to the degree of affectation. I mean is a chap who only sleeps with men and yet is entirely unaffected less gay than another chap who minces about, bungs on a speech pattern, and wears look-at-me clothing?

Frankly I have the latter affectations pegged as a variety of attention-seeking insecurity. Straight men can be precisely as insecure what with, I don't know... combovers, bulging crotch trousers, and gold chain bedecked hairy chests etc. Are they 'more straight' than an otherwise unassuming straight man? Or just more insecure?

There's many questions that could be asked here that might sound unconnected but aren't, ie: What is gay? What is attention-seeking? What is insecurity? What is serenity? What is the self?

Or perhaps more germanely - what is identity? And why? Who cares what their 'identity' is? What does it matter? Who needs it? Seriously, what is this need to 'have an identity'? Without an identity does one become a nobody?

Boo hoo, what a calamity.

Which is to say, how much of 'gayness' is about sexual preference and how much is about we may as well call dukkha, aka dissatisfaction, fear, and desire?

Oh dear. Did I lose the plot here? What were we talking about again?

Off I go now.

best etc. etc.

I see nothing in this post that proves Indian culture was or is bisexual.

In fact, Gandhi's statement about his parents of traditional Hindu temperament not understanding homosexuality contradicts most of the post.

Gandhi's parents are likely representational of classic, conservative Hindu culture.

Heck, maybe Gandhi was buggered in England by the same type of people who engage in this kind of exploitation, today.

I'm sorry, but you can't extrapolate a whole society from a handful of people, whether they be paupers or political elite.

The descriptions of Hindu deities doesn't prove anything. People have character traits & elements that TRANSCEND sexuality because we are all human.

The sexes share many traits on the basis of our shared humanity regardless of the male/female division. Perhaps, that is the lesson of the Hindu deities. Not that humanity is bisexual.

Perhaps, the corporate controlled media is promoting this kind of activity, as in the cover of a magazine and who gets promotional exposure.

Aangirfan, you have been quite informative. I was persuaded that the so-called "Arab Spring" was a put up job of the West, mostly from reading this blog.

After all the evidence and time to sift through that evidence from many other sources, as well as this website, I'm still persuaded the "Arab Spring" was a Western contrived series of events.

(Not that there weren't many idealistic people, in these countries, who wanted something better in life, but the initiating & directing forces, were outside these countries.)

And the spotlight this blog has put on these sex rings in England, America, and elsewhere has been a service to the readers.

But this post comes to conclusions that are not supported by a foundation of facts and evidence.

It is cherry picking and frankly superficial.

It is exactly what the controllers want people to believe.

Why?

Because the controllers want to be able to mold humanity to whatever THEY want humanity to be.

And, most important, the controllers want humanity to believe they can be molded and SHOULD be molded into what the controllers desire.

In essence, the controllers want to substitute themselves for God.

They want to be Gods on Earth.

Something to think about.

"I see nothing in this post that proves Indian culture was or is bisexual."

Anonymous, if you have not yet been to India, take a trip there and mix with the locals.

It will be enlightening.

As Sri Sri wrote on Twitter:

"Everyone has male and female elements.

"According to their dominance, tendencies show up and may change."

There are plenty of homophobic conservative elements in India; just as, in the USA, there are plenty of people like Ted Haggard and George Rekers.

India is bisexual, just like the baptist church or the Republican party in the USA.

I actually agree that humans by and large are bisexual in nature. What I found very timely and interesting about this particular post is that just yesterday on NPR in the states they had a lengthy discussion about gayness in India. The speaker stated what Aang. has stated. India is bisexual and homosexuality has been tolerated for millenia. Traditional hindus just do not see the need to make a federal issue out of it.

But someone does. Someone clearly sees the divide and conquer manufactured issue of Gay rights as the perfect entre to regime change.

This of course is what any Gay Rights issues coming from on high is about. Control. Leading people to the Rainbow where they can all join hands and be Kontrolled together. Globally.

The fact that the controllers are having all of us focus on sex and the lower chakras CONSTANTLY regardless of preference is what people should be noticing. They want to keep us constantly focused on our primitive, reactive impulses. They want us to be animals. They want us obedient and appropriately reactive/nonreactive.

What works? Sex. What enthralls? Sex? What controls, demeans, humiliates? Sex.

Do What Thy Will.

Jung wrote eloquently on the subject of anima as the female shadow in the masculine, and the animus as the male shadow in the female.

The very real 'identity' question hinges on the extent to which we integrate all our parts into a whole.n That is the true meaning of 'integrity': a journey so fraught that most choose to avoid it.

We become our choices.

Anon. 3:56 PM:

True, I haven't been to India and, perhaps, my opinion would be changed. I'm skeptical, but keep an open mind. I follow the evidence were it leads.

But, simply because people don't agree with your proposition, doesn't mean they are "homophobic". Rather, they have a different opinion.

Or, is anybody who disagrees with your opinion automatically "homophobic"?

That sounds closed-minded to me.

Of course, there are homosexuals in any large group, but just because there are homosexuals in a large group doesn't mean the whole group is bisexual. That's an overly broad assumption.

"Everyone has male and female elements."

That's one way to put it, but I'd put it that there are character traits common to both males and females because we are all human.

Are there specific character traits or "elements" that are expressly female or male?

Care to name any?

Regarding Anon. 7:09's comment, I tend to agree, sans the "humans by and large are bisexual" lead.

I can tell you Chinese culture was not homosexual.

The Tao strongly discourages this as it is known as dragon yang or dragon ying. The universe is made up of two opposing forces, positive and negative. When they meet it causes lightning in the sky the baby to be formed in the womb.

Man is yang or positive and female is ying or negative. It is the natural order of the cosmos. When yang seeks more yang, he is drawing too much of a force that has already caused him to be unbalanced. The universe is arrayed against him and the same holds true for woman.

Be one with the universe grasshopper.
