Is there such a thing as the typical heterosexual female?

In 16th Century England, 13 year-old Elisabeth Ramsbotham complained that her 11 year-old husband, John Bridge, had not yet deflowered her.

Elizabeth Báthory was not a typical female.

She was a child abuser.

Mary Kay Fualaau (above) is an American schoolteacher who had sexual intercourse with her 13-year-old student.

Not everyone will see this the same way.

The Lynching of Laura Nelson.

Some people get picked on, because of the group they belong to.

Laura was Black.

Reportedly, she was gang raped before being murdered.

Richard II, aged 29, married his wife Isabella of Valois in 1396 when she was aged 6

Child brides were once the norm.

In the late 16th century the age of consent in England was 10.

Does Child marriage involve pedophilia?

The Marquesas Islands have been noted for their sexual culture.

Many sexual activities seen as taboo in western cultures are viewed as appropriate by the native culture.

One of these differences is that young children are introduced to sex at a very young age

In parts of Ethiopia and Nigeria numerous girls are married before the age of 15, some as young as the age of 7.[13]

In parts of Mali 39% of girls are married before the age of 15.

In South Africa a person might be married as young as 12 for females and 14 for males.[12]

"Although we cannot prove a causal connection, democracy followed shortly after the institutionalization of pederasty in a number of Greek cities.

"Many if not most Greek theorists hailed pederastic couples as founders, restorers, or protectors of libery (such as the heroic pederastic Athenian tyrannicides Harmodius and Aristogeiton).

"They even associated pederasty with eunomia ('good government')...

"Almost every upper-class Greek boy outside Sparta and Crete (both of which strictly limited intellectual instruction) had a devoted tutor, whom he in turn loved, to inspire him mentally as well as morally.

"As the great Victorian student of Greek pederasty, John Addington Symonds, declared: What the Greeks called paiderastia, or boy-love, was a phenomenon of one of the most brilliant periods of human culture."

Bernard Sergent is among the scholars who think that the Greek pederastic model goes all the way back to Neolithic times.

According to statistics from 2005, 45% of women studied were married by the age of 15 in Bangladesh.[13]

Roughly half of Yemeni girls are married before 18, some as young as eight.[20]

Among the Atjeh of Sumatra girls formerly married before puberty. The husbands, though usually older, were still unfit for sexual union.[29]

Among the islanders of Fiji, also, marriage took place before puberty.[29]

Jon Henley in The Guardian, 3 January 2013, writes about the different types of Paedophiles.

John Henley writes:

(Aangirfan's comments in brackets)

1. "A paedophile is someone who has a primary or exclusive sexual interest in prepubescent children."

(Now, what about the large number of men and women who find prepubescent children sexually attractive, but, whose primary interest is in older people? Is it 'the norm' to find some children sexually attractive? Is Henley's definition one that everyone would agree on?)

"The Sex Offenders Act 1997 (UK) defined paedophilia as a sexual relationship between an adult over 18 and a child below 16."

(For some people, the image of the pedophile is the harmless old female music teacher who likes boys; or the distinguished writer Thomas Mann who liked boys; for some people the image of the pedophile is Marc Dutroux.)

2. "In 1976 the UK's National Council for Civil Liberties wrote: 'Childhood sexual experiences, willingly engaged in with an adult, result in no identifiable damage … The real need is a change in the attitude which assumes that all cases of paedophilia result in lasting damage.'

(What about the young 'Lolita' who seduces lots of older lads? Can we be sure that there is never any 'damage'?)

Mark Twain and Dorothy Quick.

3. "Not all paedophiles are child molesters, and vice versa: by no means every paedophile acts on his impulses, and many people who sexually abuse children are not exclusively or primarily sexually attracted to them.

(A female school teacher once told us that (1) she and most of her female colleagues found certain 13 year old students sexually attractive (2) none of them would ever molest the children.)

4. "In fact, "true" paedophiles are estimated by some experts to account for only 20% of sexual abusers."

Michael Jackson

5. "Nor are paedophiles necessarily violent: no firm links have so far been established between paedophilia and aggressive or psychotic symptoms.

"Psychologist Glenn Wilson, co-author of The Child-Lovers: a Study of Paedophiles in Society, argues that 'The majority of paedophiles, however socially inappropriate, seem to be gentle and rational.'"

(Some pedophiles are aggressive and dangerous; some are gentle and rational. The ones who get into the news are in the former category)

Teacher Pamela Turner (above) had sex with a 13-year-old student. Deb Lafave reportedly had sex with a 14-year-old student. Mary Kay Letourneau married and had two children with the boy she 'raped' when he was 13. They are still together. Website.

6. "Sarah Goode, a senior lecturer at the University of Winchester and author of two major 2009 and 2011 sociological studies on paedophilia in society, says the best current estimate – based on possibly flawed science – is that "one in five of all adult men are, to some degree, capable of being sexually aroused by children". Even less is known about female paedophiles, thought to be responsible for maybe 5% of abuse against pre-pubescent children in the UK."

(We suspect that these figures are too low.)

Baden Powell liked boys.

7.  Research at the sexual behaviours clinic of Canada's Centre for Addiction and Mental Health suggests that "Paedophiles' IQs are, on average, 10% lower than those of sex offenders who had abused adults."

(This of course is nonsense. Most of the elite pedophiles simply do not get caught. It is mainly the 'dumb' people who get caught.)

"Research at the sexual behaviours clinic of Canada's Centre for Addiction and Mental Health suggests  that paedophiles are significantly less likely to be right-handed than the rest of the population... Paedophiles may be wired differently."

(Again, it is only the 'losers' who are being studied.)

Germaine Greer (above) wrote: 'If nature didn't intend boys to be seduced by older men and women, why did it make them so damnably fetching, so downy-cheeked, rangy-limbed and pert-buttocked?'

8. "Two eminent researchers testified to that effect to a Canadian parliamentary commission last year, and the Harvard Mental Health Letter of July 2010 stated baldly that paedophilia 'is a sexual orientation' and therefore 'unlikely to change'."

(If most people are capable of finding some children sexually attractive, then the above may be misleading?)

CS Lewis on Pederasty. 'Littlebear' wrote: "I believe C.S.Lewis was a paedophile. A university tutor of mine once mentioned that he enjoyed taking pictures of young children who 'weren't wearing very much'".

9. "'Broadly speaking, in the world of people who work with sex offenders here, (paedophilia) is learned behaviour,' says Donald Findlater, director of research and development at the Lucy Faithfull Foundation, a charity dedicated to preventing child sexual abuse, and, before it closed, manager of leading treatment centre the Wolvercote Clinic."

(These 'sex offenders' who have been caught may not be typical.)

Among bonobo apes, which are reputed to be sociable creatures, sex takes place between males and males, between females and females, between males and females, and between adults and children. Bonobos, according to recent research, may be closer to us than chimps; bonobos share 98% of our DNA. Website for this image

10. "The vast majority of sexual violence is committed by people known to the victim," stresses Kieran Mccartan, senior lecturer in criminology at the University of the West of England. Only very rarely is the danger from the 'stranger in the white van', Mccartan says."

(There has been a lot of sexual violence in orphanages and children's homes; reportedly the security services have 'used' large numbers of orphans as sex slaves.)

Thomas Mann liked boys.

11. "Questioning the lasting damage caused by consensual paedophilic relations... there is no academic consensus on that fundamental question – as Goode found...

"Findlater says the notion that a seven-year-old can make an informed choice for consensual sex with an adult is 'just preposterous. It is adults exploiting children.'

"Goode says simply: 'Children are not developmentally ready for adult sexuality,' adding that it is 'intrusive behaviour that violates the child's emerging self-identity' and can be similar in long-term impact to adults experiencing domestic violence or torture."

(There is a difference between (1) an adult raping a two year old and (2) a 15 year old girl hugging  the boy next door. There is a difference between (1) some youngster living in the Marquesas having sex and (2) some youngster living in Tennessee having sex)

12. "A Dutch study published in 1987 found that a sample of boys in paedophilic relationships felt positively about them.

"And a major if still controversial 1998-2000 meta-study suggests - as J Michael Bailey of Northwestern University, Chicago, says - that such relationships, entered into voluntarily, are 'nearly uncorrelated with undesirable outcomes'.

(It is possible to imagine a 'neglected boy' or 'neglected girl' being helped by a kindly 'uncle figure' or kindly 'aunt figure'; it is also possible to imagine boys and girls in Amsterdam ending up in the mafia-run sex trade.)

13. "Writing last year in the peer-reviewed Archives of Sexual Behaviour, Bailey said that while he also found the notion 'disturbing', he was forced to recognise that 'persuasive evidence for the harmfulness of paedophilic relationships does not yet exist'.

(Let's not forget the pedophile rings linked to the security services).

14. "For Goode... broader, societal change is needed. 'Adult sexual attraction to children is part of the continuum of human sexuality; it's not something we can eliminate,' she says.

"'If we can talk about this rationally - acknowledge that yes, men do get sexually attracted to children, but no, they don't have to act on it - we can maybe avoid the hysteria.

(Women also get sexually attracted to children)

"We won't label paedophiles monsters; it won't be taboo to see and name what is happening in front of us.'

"We can help keep children safe, Goode argues, 'by allowing paedophiles to be ordinary members of society, with moral standards like everyone else', and by 'respecting and valuing those paedophiles who choose self-restraint'.

"Only then will men tempted to abuse children 'be able to be honest about their feelings, and perhaps find people around them who could support them and challenge their behaviour before children get harmed'.

(Too many people find it difficult to be rational when it comes to subjects such as 'Pedophiles', 'Moslems', 'Blacks', 'Jews', 'Catholics'... It is all about 'moral standards' and 'self restraint')

"Dr Liz Davies argues that we do not have full statistics of abuse of children by ‘strangers’ e.g. the children who go missing and are never found are not counted by anyone and abductions do not count within the child sex abuse statistics.

"If there is one point we can learn from the Savile expose – it is that it highlights the extent of ‘stranger’ abuse. This is very important too."

In conclusion: we should try to take a Buddhist attitude.

For the Buddhists, all visual attraction is the reaction of the lower self.

Fleshly charm does not last and is in a sense unreal.

In other words, you don't need a girl/boyfriend; and the girl/boyfriend's sexiness is a bit of an illusion.

Kudos to you Aangirfan for setting out the true dynamics between adults and children.

What this Goode is saying is that in the right climate, paedophiles will come out of the closet and seek help. There's no evidence for this, either. Why would they seek help not to satisfy an uncontrollable desire? Then there are the primary psychopaths, 1 in every hundred. They are born with very little right brain activity. They are highly intelligent predators. Like animal predators they have a strong urge to attack the young, the sick, the elderly. Then there are the secondary psychopaths... Yes, it's an infinitely complex issue and so we have a simple solution: a universal, legal age of consent. Let's not be seduced by the Illuminati to normalise perversion and ridicule all that is normal and wholesome just because some 'expert' is suffering from Stockholm Syndrome. Remember, any behaviour can become 'normal' - even sacrificing children to the Gods, if that's what the law-makers decide.

Well Said, Anonymous. The police might be a bad thing but we still need it. You can not live in a society without rules. We can not change the laws just because a very small minority can not keep their sick desires under control. The victims of pedophile usually are the poor and powerless.

Thank you for seeking truth.

It's the same with Cannabis.
Something nice, fertile and healing can be used in detrimental ways.
And the rulers use their power to restrict and punish us to increase their power and profits, turning bliss into terror by combining sex corruption and torture.

If we grow up together there is a natural barrier against incest, so when practiced it is usually a harmful abuse of power by sadists with a history of oppression in childhood.

Protecting children from adults is a reflection of our love for them and appreciation of their high value. Parents consenting to give them to adults reflects a gap in power, wealth or attractiveness. Or a heartless society.

Wherein we embrace the ambiguity. Very good.

I suspect you may not have read this Aang but I think it's germane and I think you'll find it of interest.

Mind you, it should be noted that this was written in the days of the-world-according-to-WRH, which is to say, before the discovery of Dave McGowan, the pedophocracy, and the idea of the second pillar, if you know what I mean. Ignorance aside, even then it was clear that something was missing from WRH's one-sided image and in the linked piece you can see the author bumping up against the missing thing whilst not quite being certain what it is.

Anyway, the topic is far from simple and it's heartening to see someone capable of discussing it by way of nuance.

best etc etc.

Highly instructive! I will react to one glaring point. The academic psychologists who claim there is no research showing the harm of pedophilia are monsters just as the pedophiles are. First, as pointed out in the parents you provided, a child cannot make decisions for form a consensual sexual relationship, let alone a love relationship involving sex. It is simply not possible. No new research needed. We don't try and imprison children the way we do adults because their brain and cognitive development is not nearly complete. Therefore, any academic who says there is no demonstrable harm is simply ignoring the well-proven developmental research. It's appalling that they could even make such statements.
In addition, anyone who has done any real clinical work knows the devastating impact of sexual victimization by pedophiles. There are NEVER any happy or even indifferent stories. The presentation is one of a shattered development where the most fundamental boundaries are shattered. The victims spend a life of subsequent re-victimization in a variety of ways and show signs and report dire symptoms that are directly related to the pedophilic assaults that they endured.
Your outstanding work showing how elements of the power elite use child abuse and torture to manipulate servitude shows the darkest side of pedophilia. The other more common forms committed by unaffiliated monsters create huge damage as well.
To those academics who apologize by feigning ignorance about the impact of pedophilia, you need to know that you are permanently marked as the enablers of monsters, the very worst people imaginable who enable the continuation of beastly acts.

Pedophiles are people too. We are human beings. Some of us do some horrific things, but most pedophiles are just people like everyone else, who dont want to harm children and just have a different sexual orientation.

Pedophilia encompasses romantic, emotional, erotic feelings, is not only a sexual attraction. Some people are attracted to men, other to women, other to children. We dont choose our sexual orientation, we dont choose to love men or women or children.

Personally, Im attracted to little girls. And its not an "uncontrollable desire". It is not. Its like heterosexuality: a very controllable and normal deisre. You dont go "crazy" just for being a pedo.

I'm sexually attracted to females sometimes as young as maybe 12 (extreme example)?

My ability to consider actual physical contact is predicated upon their intellect. So I might consider a brilliant 14 year old female who consents.

Given that scenario, if law enforcement were somehow alerted and sought to cage me I wonder if they would bother to ask if that was OK with the 14 year old female?

Ah, I see some would claim the damage was yet unknown even to the "victim" of my affections.

Or is it that a female of 14 years is simply owned by her parents or the state? Take away any objections from either the parents or the 14 year old female and we arrive at the source of the conflict; the State.

The State foments the perception that living freely is harmful and back it up with threats, violence and murder. If the State was in the business of marketing lip gloss, they would likely give up some of their thuggish power to control in favor of the extra scratch. The State prefers to break up the family unit to soften us up for whatever comes next, to which sex crimes dovetails nicely.

In another reality, we never did believe the lie that government was selling and a Voluntaryist society flourishes where no age of consent to sex is required. Acts of violence or abuse are rare, but dealt with at the family or community level.

Lastly, the opinion that some have moderate conviction in that equates pedophilia to murder is not surprising. I think it's ludicrous and demonstrates how, once again the State is a factor as they've purposely concealed the tools needed to form intelligent opinions. We're no longer taught the Trivium or Quadrivium, required for logic and reason.

But don't get taken in by me. My concern for society and the happiness of others is likely just another under-reported side effect of pedophilia! God help us all if I were allowed to decide these things for myself.

what 13 y o boy would not want to have sex with Pamela Turner. All 13 y o boys would

It's a different matter when the victims are male. Sure, she should not have done it, but it's different had the victim been a 13 y o female
