LIONEL CURTIS; CFR; NEW WORLD ORDER

Lionel Curtis (1872-1955)

Lionel Curtis supported the idea of a Federal World Government.

Curtis may have been a well meaning but naive romantic.

In 1910, Curtis founded the Round Table groups, which sought a closer union between Britain and its self-governing colonies.

In 1919 Curtis, aided by British and American friends, set up the Royal Institute of International Affairs during the Peace Conference of Paris.[2]

A year later its sister organisation, the Council on Foreign Relations, was set up in America.

Professor Carroll Quigley has claimed that the Round Table Groups were connected to a secret society, which  Cecil Rhodes is believed to have set up.

Rhodes, who "played tribe against tribe until they destroyed each other in war, so allowing Rhodes and the British to take over. The same is happening today in the continuing wars in Africa." The Round Table-Bilderberg Network | USAHM Conspiracy News

Among those linked to the Round Table groups were Lord Nathan Rothschild, Waldorf Astor, and Lord Robert Cecil.

In other words, some of the people involved with the Round Table were more of the Machiavellian Mafia-Fascist-Zionist type.

"More than a few researchers have found attractive Quigley’s argument that Cecil Rhodes’s essential vision for the unity of the English-speaking peoples was a benevolent one.

"Commenting on the 'international Anglophile network' that had grown out of both Rhodes’s money and vision of Anglo-American unity, Quigley described as 'commendable' this group’s 'chief aims', including to 'maintain the peace' and 'help backward, colonial and underdeveloped areas to advance toward stability, law and order, and prosperity…'"

Reportedly,

1. The Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) controls the CIA and the State Department.

2. The CFR carries out Psy-Ops in order to control public opinion worldwide.

According to Tom Cargill, of Chatham House (the Royal Institute of International Affairs):

"Curtis was born in 1872 into a British Empire anticipating both its zenith and decline.

"The youngest of four children of a village rector, brought up far from the machinations of the imperial metropolis in the quiet Herefordshire hamlet of Coddington, Curtis was as much a dreamer as a doer and struggled both at school and subsequently at New College, Oxford..."

Curtis became secretary to the ‘high priest’ of imperialism, Lord Milner.

Curtis came to believe that "the British Empire offered a unique, even divinely inspired, opportunity to universalise the stability and justice inherently denied by the sovereign state system."

"With Canada and increasingly Australia and New Zealand chafing at direction from London and with growing unrest in Ireland, Curtis saw that a much more equal association was the only hope."

"Curtis knew how to manipulate that world of constant crises... in support of specific objectives, even if these objectives did not in the end lead him to his will o' the wisp world order."

It would be interesting to know more about Curtis and what his influence, if any, really was.

He seems to have been an idealist who envisaged the transformation of the British Empire into a global confederation of democratic states — a transformation that would see moral influence replace brute force as the controlling factor: a world system that would represent "the Sermon on the Mount translated into political terms."

This seems far removed from today's manifestation of globalism, which is based on brute force applied with an apparent contempt for moral considerations.

Re: "Quigley's history is missing the Council on Foreign Relation's role in numerous historical events."

Bear in mind that Quigley died in 1977 and that his, Anglo-American Establishment a history of the Rhodes-Milner group, the progenitor of the CFR, was written in 1949, although not published until 1981.
