The Russian journalist Marat Musin of ANNA newsagency has now published a more detailed interview with witnesses to the events in Houla (Al-Hula).

Here is part of Marat Musin's interview with the first witness:

Q: What happened on May the 25th and the 26th in your village? What did you see?

A: They killed them because they support the authorities...

They killed the family of the brother of Abdullah Al-Mashlab, from the Syrian parliament.

He was elected on May 24th, the next day they killed his wife and 3 kids and his brother and his family as well.

On the second day we heard the terrorists saying on walkie talkies that some of the armed men should wear the Syrian Army's uniform, before the UN observers arrive, so that they can claim they've defected from the army...

They burned some farms and houses so they could accuse the army of shelling the area.

I only saw the UN observers from afar; they were surrounded by armed men... and the armed men’s relatives...

When the observers arrived the armed men had occupied the empty houses and the armed men who accompanied the observers started showing the observers into the houses as if the owners were inside and they provided testimonies...

Marat Musin lists the names of 'Free Syrian Army' (FSA) commanders who carried out the Houla massacre.

According to Marat Musin:

The terrorists who committed these terrible crimes:

Radwan Said Farhan
Mashhur Massoud, Nickname: Tyurkavyi (a known terrorist)
Abdelkarim Al-Rahal
Akram Rashash Amer
Muhyiddin Mahmoud Shihab, Nickname: Muhyiddin Dscharban
A gang of terrorists from the Al-Iksha clan
Abdul Rasak Tlas
Yakha Al-Yousef
Said Fayez Al-Talha Iksh
Nidal Bakkur
A terrorist from the Al-Hallaka clan, Nickname: Al-Hassan
Ikram Al-Saleh
Al-Hallak Haysam

According to Global Research:

THE HOULA MASSACRE: Opposition Terrorists "Killed Families Loyal to the Government"
- by Marat Musin - 2012-06-01
The terrorists were not pro-government shabbiha militia as conveyed, in chorus, by the mainstream media, they were in large part mercenaries and professional killers operating under the auspices of the self-proclaimed Free Syrian Army (FSA).

The CIA and its friends stirred up the violence in Tunisia, Egypt, Libya and then Syria.

US and NATO special forces armed and led the terrorist groups who carried out the acts of violence in these countries.

When government forces moved to quell the troubles, they were accused of violating human rights.

When the Arab League suspends a country, "this provides a pretext for Western powers to mount military strikes, committing atrocities in the name of 'responsibility to protect', and engineering regime change in the interests of the Western powers.

"It’s neocolonialism in Arab lands – with the help of other Arab states."

It is NOT genuine people-power; it is CIA-people-power

At the UK Daily Mail we read:

"In almost every country where the Arab Spring prevailed, the result has been more oppression, greater economic paralysis and an increase in religious autocracy.

"So in Tunisia, once the most secular and progressive country in the Arab world, gangs of Salafist Muslim thugs now roam the streets, threatening unveiled women and firebombing shops that dare to sell alcohol...

"While in Egypt, the first round of the presidential election has resulted in a run‑off between an Islamist hardliner and a former military crony of Mubarak - hardly the victory for democracy that the Egyptian people were promised at the height of the revolution.

"All this partly explains why the Syrian people have largely refused to support the rebels. They see what has happened in the rest of the Middle East and shudder."

Anyone know how this impacts upon the Bekaa Valley?

Goood piece. It is important that we do our best to expose the truth about Houla because it is, to be sure, one of the bigger atrocities that is being used to urge all out invasion of Syria a la Libya style.

from aviationist: "Almost ignored by some media outlets, a major strategic theater cooperation exercise including 19 countries and more than 12,000 participants is currently taking place in Jordan...Even if officials strongly denied the drills are aimed at any realistic threats in the region, the fact that the U.S. is amassing forces in Middle East seems to be a sign that Washington (along with several close and less close partners) is preparing to manage a large crisis response operation in that part of the globe.

In fact, there are fears that the Syrian uprising will force thousands refuge into Jordan across Syria’s southern border. And, there is also a specific concern that Assad regime could lose control of some its chemical and biological weapons stocks, that could illicitly smuggled into Jordan, as reported by the CNN..."

British Foreign Secretary William Hague says military intervention in Syria would have to take place on a much larger scale than the operations in Libya, local media reported. In a show of bigger sabre-rattling against the Middle East nation, William Hague said that his government had not ruled out any options, which might also include supplying rebels in Syria with arms.

Assad should stop being silly and arm his people to the teeth, instead of making them sitting ducks for these rampaging murderers. It was the mistake Ghadaffi made by leaving his people unarmed to get run over.

The war is already on in Syria, we shouldn't pretend otherwise. Assad has to throw the armoury open or get crushed. All hell has already broken lose. It's way past jaw-jaw time, the sooner Assad realizes this the better.
