CHILDREN FULL OF LIFE

"In the award-winning documentary Children Full of Life, a fourth-grade class in a primary school in Kanazawa, northwest of Tokyo, learn lessons about compassion from their homeroom teacher, Toshiro Kanamori.

"He instructs each to write their true inner feelings in a letter, and read it aloud in front of the class.

"By sharing their lives, the children begin to realize the importance of caring for their classmates."

Excellent idea of teacher Kanamori. if more schools all over the world would adopt this method... Imagine the effect of it in the American, Canadian or British schools...

Cooperation and empathy are the bases of human civilization and cohesive society.

This Japanese school is very different from a typical English school.

The Anglos are trying a different strategy of social darwinism: hostility and hatred as the bases of their society. The sort of world this results in will possibly not be as heartwarming and pleasant.

This is a very interesting case and certainly not as it seems.

It would be interesting to know precisely which British bomb disposal experts were involved and why.

Awesome. Such simple life lessons, that are not focused on nearly enough in any of our lives. Maybe if more people would learn how connected we are by our hearts, it wouldn't be so easy to disregard and hurt one another. There is such power in our connectedness.
