The poll was seen as a test of Mr Chavez's popularity ahead of presidential elections in 2012.

Chavez is a critic of neoliberalism, globalisation, and United States foreign policy.

Chavez has said that democracy isn't just turning up to vote every five or four years.

Democracy, according to Chavez, "is much more than that; it's a way of life, it's giving power to the people ... it is not the government of the rich over the people, which what's happening in almost all the so-called democratic Western capitalist countries."

The CIA has so far failed to topple Chavez.

According to official US aid agency documents, the USA has given over $50 million dollars to the opposition controlled NGO's and political 'fronts' which promote US interests.

The Right's previous standard bearer, ex President Carlos Andres Perez was convicted of multi-million dollar fraud and pillage of the public treasury.

Local opposition governors and majors have also been indicted for fraud and malfeasance of funds and are holed up in Miami.

Some of Chavez's lot are not untainted.



The CIA has a history of using drugs gangs.

At the United Nations General Assembly, on 23 September 2010, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad suggested that the US may have carried out the 9/11 attacks.

The Iranian leader suggested that most people believe the U.S. government was responsible for 9 11.

Ahmadinejad suggested that perhaps "some segments within the US government orchestrated the attack to reverse the declining American economy", and "to save the Zionist regime."

According to Ahmadinejad, "the majority of the American people as well as most nations and politicians around the world agree with this view."

The US "supported and took advantage of the situation."

Ahmadinejad said some evidence that could support alternative theories had been "covered up" - passports located in the rubble and a video of an unknown individual who had been "involved in oil deals with some American officials."

Does the US military use the environment as a weapon?

Could the US military damage the environments of Pakistan, Somalia, Yemen or parts of Afghanistan?

General Anthony Zinni is a former chief of U.S. Central Command.

He has been talking to top people in Washington about how the degradation of the environment and declining natural resources affect security. (Environment key to U.S. security: Congress briefing)

According to Zini:

"We can't just send in the Army and the Marines and the Air Force and the Navy to resolve these problems, and they can't all be security problems...

"Whether it is climate change, whether it is disruption of the environment in other ways ... we're going to see more failed and incapable states."

Zinni referred to:

Depletion of fish stocks off Somalia,

The drop in water and oil resources in Yemen,

Droughts in Afghanistan

And scarce and polluted water in Pakistan.

Lieutenant Colonel Shannon Beebe, an Africa analyst, compared the traditional threats to security with those posed by environmental and natural resource problems.

Beebe is quoted as saying: "You think we're going to continue to face state-based threats?

COLONEL ADMITS TO FALSE FLAG ATTACKS IN TURKEY, REPORTEDLY

On 22 Septemner 2010, Today's Zaman relates that in Turkey, a Colonel Arif Doğan has reportedly confessed that his Turkish intelligence unit committed false flag attacks

A voice recording has been put up online by an anonymous poster.

Allegedly, the recording features the voice of Turkey's Colonel Arif Dogan.

Dogan is currently under arrest as a suspect in the military's 'Ergenekon' plot to topple the Turkish government.

The voice reveals information about 'JİTEM', an intelligence unit illegally set up by the Turkish military.

(Reportedly, the Turkish military's 'Ergenekon' plot was masterminded by the CIA.)



In the voice recording, the supposed voice of Doğan confesses to the following:

1. Organising false flag murders of members of Turkey's Alevis Moslem sect.

2. Stopping an operation that would have caught terrorist Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) leader Abdullah Öcalan.

3. Killing 100 people in a false flag attack in Syria (in Cemsheref)

The voice believed to be Doğan says of JITEM: "It came into being with me".

Doğan had said in his testimony in court that JİTEM was set up by his bosses in the Turkish military.

DEATHS IN CUMBRIA

Harry Hucknall.

In the UK, on 19 September 2001, 10 year-old Harry Hucknall was found hanged. (Tragic death of boy, 10 )

He was discovered by his next-door neighbour at his home in Dalton-in-Furness in Cumbria.

Harry was a pupil at George Romney Junior School.

He is related to singer Mick Hucknall.

Lianne Smith and her daughter.

On 20th May 2010 we read about Lianne Smith.

Lianne Smith ran a nursery for children aged 3 to 6 in Barcelona.

In the UK, she was head of the Cumbria County Council department set up to protect children.

She is supected of killing her two young children, five-year-old Rebecca and 11-month-old Daniel, in a Spanish hotel.

On 8 may 2010, in Barcelona, her partner, Martin Smith, was arrested.

The 'former TV psychic' is accused of rape, gross indecency, indecent assault and attempted rape, all against a child under 16.

The allegations date back to 1995.

It was back in December 2007 that Lianne Smith, her daughter Rebecca, and Martin Smith went missing from the UK.

Dylan, who was found hanged at a UK children's home

On 20 October 2009 we learnt that 11 year old Dylan McDonald had been found hanged at a children's home, the Appletree Centre, in Cumbria in the UK.

The school caters for up to 14 children aged six to 12.

Dylan's family were due to apply to regain custody of their son in November 2009.

Dylan's body was spotted by kids playing outside, hanging outside his bedroom window.

Teachers found him still alive, suspended from a large Victorian window.

Dylan was driven to a hospital in Lancaster where died.

His family said he had showed no warning signs of a desire to commit suicide.

Uncle Shaun McDonald told how Dylan had been excitedly looking forward to trips back home to see his dad Peter and mum Sharon at Hallowe'en and Christmas.

Mr McDonald, from Warrington, said: "When Peter went to see him on Sunday, he was laughing and joking.

"They took him out for meals and Dylan was really looking forward to coming back home later this month.

"We've been told he may have had an argument with a teacher, or another pupil on Monday, and he was a bit down on Tuesday.

"But, essentially, why he did this is a mystery."

Knowsley Council, whose care Dylan was in, stated that an enquiry was underway.

Dylan had spent the last three years at the care home.

His uncle said that he had a good relationship with his parents and would see them every fortnight on visits.

Derick Bird, who shot dead 12 people.

Bird, described by friends as 'a loner', lived with his mother.

Bird was teased over his sex life and for being a 'mummy’s boy', later executing a friend who had taunted him for being a failure with women. (Express.co.uk.)

Reportedly Bird worked for a military unit in Northern Ireland which carried out assassinations.

"When I was a child '79 '80 '81 it was safer to wander the streets of a suburb of Bolton than it was to be at home.

I would hide out anywhere that was dry out of the rain and snow - old buildings powerunits half built houses - because I feared that he would kill me if I was at home.

There were no friends to hide out with until it was time to go home ... leaving it until the last seconds to run inside & upstairs to bed.

I'd spent the last four years praying to god fanatically but had given up believing in a god that would let this happen to me.

I ran away to kill myself at sixteen but I made my grandmother cry.

I'd never seen her cry and felt so ashamed that I had done so.

Instead I hid in her airing cupboard for six months only coming out at night when it was safe."
