The photo of Obama's mother looks photo-shopped to me. She appears to have been wearing a one piece swimsuit which has been whited out.
It may be part of a plat to attack on Obama, maybe to stop him taking action against the rogue multinational, BP.

On the topic of photoshopping of this phote, I'd go either way on this one. If it's photoshopped it seems to be done by two people, one of whom is very very good, and one of whom is crap. The work on her arse and breasts is either faultless or not shopped at all. But then there's any number of soft edges that make no sense photographically and not much sense in photoshop terms neither.
And above such technicalities is the nature of the poses. If she is wearing a swimsuit why is she striking such obvious soft-core porn poses? Why would you kneel over and point your arse at the camera if you were wearing a swimsuit? These photes are very strange. I also wonder at them for being scanned at such lo-rez. A strange kettle and no mistake.
