On 10 March 2009, Seymour Hersh revealed that, during the Bush years, the US military ran an "executive assassination ring" which reported directly to former Vice President Dick Cheney.

5. Robin Cook, the former UK Foreign Secretary, died suddenly in 2005.

PRESIDENT PRABOWO?

Prabowo of the CIA?

Rumour has it that Prabowo has growing support among the poor.

Jakartass relates that Prabowo Subianto is hoping to become the President of the world's fourth largest country, in terms of population.

American-trained Prabowo is the former boss of Indonesia's special forces (Kopassus).

He is also a former son in law of former president Suharto.

Prabowo is notorious for human rights abuses.

Indonesia is the world's largest Moslem country, in terms of population.

Prabowo Subianto has denied accusations that he organised terror squads in East Timor during Indonesia's bloody 24-year occupation and that he orchestrated riots and mass rapes of ethnic Chinese women in Jakarta prior to Suharto's fall,

But he has not shied away from responsibility for the kidnappings of student activists in the last days of his then father-in-law, telling foreign journalists last month his "conscience is clear" over the abductions.

Jakartass writes: "There's no way he can deny it - the army command kicked him out and he went off to build up his fortune in the Lebanon.

"Much of his wealth is being spent on a media campaign which, if his party gains a sufficient percentage of the votes, will enable him to campaign for the presidency. This election is in July.

"What makes this of particular interest is that two of the kidnapped activists are now legislative candidates for Prabowo's party and another heads up his media centre."

Indonesians

Of the 23 activists abducted in 1997 and 1998, one is known to be dead and 13 are missing.

Raharja Waluya Jati was held in a cell for 45 days and tortured in what he suspects, but is not sure, was Kopassus headquarters.

At night, he communicated by yelling down the hall to the three kidnap victims now with Gerindra, and to friends who never returned.

"Prabowo needs the victims to get legitimacy and wash his bloody hands," Jati said, adding the alliance was likely motivated by the victims' own thirst for political power.

American trained General Prabowo is said to be a friend of the CIA.

Domingos Guterres, from East Timor, alleges that in 1989 he was tortured for 35 days by soldiers under General Prabowo's command. Guterres claims General Prabowo personally carried out acts of torture.

In the 1983 Kraras massacres in East Timor, about 300 people are believed to have been buried in mass graves after a series of executions that the locals say were carried out under General Prabowo. ( Torture evidence mounts against Indonesian general )

Prabowo is again in the news.

Presidential elections will be held in Indonesia in 2009.

Indonesia is the world's biggest Moslem nation and it is the world's 4th biggest nation in terms of population.

Indonesia guards important sea lanes and has important mineral wealth and a large military.

President Yudhoyono will seek a second term, while his predecessor Megawati Sukarnoputri will also run again.

In 1998, when Suharto was apparently toppled by the CIA, one of the key generals was Prabowo, son of Dr. Sumitro Djojohadikusumo, a former Finance Minister, said to have once worked with the British and the Americans against Sukarno.

Recently we heard a story about a UK hospital where a group of doctors and surgeons got sick.

Reportedly, one of the surgeons discovered that a hospital cleaner was cleaning the doctor's kitchen with the same cloths used to clean the toilets.

I have found hospitals in parts of Third World Asia to be much cleaner and much more efficient than the typical UK hospital.

In UK hospitals, deaths involving Clostridium difficile rose by 69% from 2004-05, the Office for National Statistics has said. (BBC NEWS Health Hospital bug deaths on the rise)

Reportedly, UK hospitals have too many managers and too many of these managers do a very poor job.

According to Sir Gerry Robinson, "There are 5,000 more people now employed to tend to organisation than there are consultants (senior doctors).... in the case of the NHS, what we need are far fewer – albeit far better – managers. " 'Cure the NHS with far fewer managers'

On 26 March 2009, Haaretz had an article by Adam Abrams entitled New World Order?

Among the points made by Abrams:

1. The US has troops stationed in over 150 countries worldwide; and the US has been fighting costly wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.

The US has vast debts and may be "irreversibly overextending itself".

2. "New world order" can mean:

A. A change in the balance of power.

B. A world dictatorship

3. If the U.S. collapses in the same way that Iceland has, this could lead to a new world order.

According to Professor Willem Buiter, at the London School of Economics, "There will, before long ... be a global dumping of U.S. dollar assets..."

Peter Schiff, president of the stock brokerage firm Euro Pacific Capital Inc. predicts that gold will climb to $2,000 per ounce.

According to Ron Paul : "Americans have suffered a steadily eroding purchasing power because of the Federal Reserve's inflationary policies."

Gerald Celente, the CEO of Trends Research Institute, forecasts that by 2012 there will be a revolution in the U.S., accompanied by food riots and tax rebellions.

New World Order - a change in the balance of power.

4. What might replace the USA as the world's dominant player?

One possibility is the United Nations.

In 1991, in Congress, George H. W. Bush said:

"...We can see a new world coming into view... A world where the United Nations ... is poised to fulfill the historic vision of its founders..."

In January 2009, Henry Kissinger told CNBC that the world economic crisis is a "great opportunity" for Obama to help form a "new world order."

In June 2007, Gordon Brown said: "I believe it will be said of this age, the first decades of the 21st century, that out of the greatest restructuring of the global economy, perhaps even greater than the industrial revolution, a new world order was created."

5. It seems unlikely that governments will willingly surrender sovereignty to the United Nations.

6. However, what if there was 'an unpheaval on a massive scale'?

"The only such event that seems even remotely likely is the end of Western global dominance and the transfer of global hegemony to the Eurasian powers.

"Perhaps it would not be a 'global government', but a 'new world order', with the central power of the world residing in Asia.

"... If the Chinese government decided to dump all of its U.S. dollars, the entire U.S. economy would collapse overnight.

"But would China do that?

4. To some people in South East Asia, it may seem that it is Chinese billionaires who control the economies and the governments.

In Indonesia, ethnic Chinese make up less than 4 percent of the population but allegedly control around 70 percent of the major businesses. In recent times, twelve of the 15 wealthiest families were Chinese.

Chinese oligarchs are influential in countries such as Thailand, the Philippines and Malaysia.

Burston refers to people who ask about the Israelis:

On 23 February 2009, Scotland's First Minister, Alex Salmond, met with US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in Washington DC.

Did they discuss the Lockerbie Bombing?

Is the SNP going to support the US and UK governments in their attempt to cover up the truth about Lockerbie?

On 19 February 2009, The Mail on Sunday (Scotland) has a Lockerbie Bomb story, by Marcello Mega and Michael Tait, entitled:

SNP IN SECRET BID TO SEND BOMBER HOME.

The headline may be misleading, as it is the US and UK governments that want Al Megrahi to remain 'convicted' and to serve the rest of his sentence in Libya.

The US and UK governments may be trying to use the Lockerbie business to discredit the anti-war SNP.

The Mail makes the following points:

1. SNP government officials have been involved in secret talks between the UK Foreign Office and Libyan officials.

These talks could lead to Al Megrahi being sent back to Libya.

2. Scotland's Justice Secretary, Kenny MacAskill, instructed his top official, Robert Gordon, to play a key role in the negotiations.

3. The UK and US governments are keen to see Al Megrahi apply for a Prisoner Transfer Agreement.

This would mean that Al Megrahi would serve the rest of his sentence in Libya.

It is the SNP's Kenny MacAskill who would be responsible for organising a prisoner transfer of Al Megrahi.

A Prisoner Transfer Agreement between the UK and Libya is expected to be ratified in April 2009.

(The UK and US governments would like Al Megrahi to abandon his appeal against his conviction. An appeal could reveal evidence of CIA involvement in the Lockerbie bombing and could reveal that the CIA and the Scottish police faked evidence in the Lockerbie trial.)

4. Al Megrahi's appeal against his conviction is due to start in April 2009.

Al Megrahi wants the appeal to go ahead so that he can clear his name.

5. "Sources close to the Libyan delegation... said Mr Gordon had given them every encouragement to push for a transfer.

"One said: 'He told them in fairly plain language that if an application came it would be granted.'"

6. According to the Mail on Sunday: "The planned appeal has the potential to humiliate the Crown Office and to expose conspiracy and dirty tricks involving UK and US intelligence agents and the Scottish police."

NAJIB is to be Prime Minister of Malaysia

Malaysia's next prime minister is to be Najib Razak.

Najib has been linked on the internet, and by political rivals, to the murder, in 2006, of a Mongolian lady called Altantuya Shaariibuu.

Najib has also been linked to a submarines deal that involved 'commissions'.

The French newspaper Libération has alleged that the submarines deal and the murder of Altantuya Shariibuu, 28, are connected.

1. "This was a murder unlike others in a region where business conflicts or petty politics are often settled with a gun."

2. "This case... started in 2002 when the French Spanish company Armaris concluded the sale of three submarines to the Malaysian government for the amount of one billion Euros...

" The murder of the 28 year old Mongolian was the result of a 'commission'... of 114 million Euros by Armaris to its Malaysian counterpart.

"This 'commission', which was acknowledged by the Malaysian government in front of the Parliament in Kuala Lumpur, has triggered a chain of events that has led to the assassination of Altantuya and the disappearance of several key witnesses in the case."

3. According to a report from the Malaysian police the killers were policemen from the Malaysian Special Branch.

4. Reportedly, Altantuya was the lover of Abdul Razak Baginda, a security expert and the director of the Malaysian Strategic Research Centre, a pro-government think-tank.

Baginda is close to Najib Razak (Baginda is Najib's security affairs adviser).

"We knew that Baginda was used by Deputy Prime minister Najib Razak as an intermediary for weapons systems deals, especially the high level ones," said a regional security affairs expert.

Liberation mentions the existence of a photograph which allegedly shows Najib, Altantuya and her lover Baginda in a Paris nightclub.

5. Reportedly, in March 2005 Altantuya and Baginda met Najib in Paris. Reportedly, a picture shows the threesome in a Parisian private club.

Najib has sworn on the Koran that he has never met Altantuya.

Reportedly, according to a private detective, now in hiding in India, Altantuya was also the occasional mistress of Najib.

6. In October 2006, Altantuya was informed that the commission paid by the French-Spanish company Armaris had arrived in a Kuala Lumpur bank account.

He took note of the registration plate of the kidnapper's car and filed a complaint at the local police station. In a few days, the police identified the car and realised that it was a government vehicle."

8. Najib, at that time Deputy Prime Minister, sent a message to Baginda a few hours before Baginda's arrest. The message said: "I will see the Inspector General of Police at 11 am today… The problem will be solved. Be cool".

9. After a trial, Baginda was acquitted.

Reportedly, a CIA study suggests Israel may not survive beyond the next 20 years. (Press TV - CIA report: Israel will fall in 20 years)

The CIA report predicts "an inexorable movement away from a two-state to a one-state solution."

The study forecasts:

1. The return of all Palestinian refugees to the occupied territories,

2. The exodus of two million Israelis to the US in the next fifteen years.

"There are over 500,000 Israelis with American passports and more than 300,000 living in the area of just California," International lawyer Franklin Lamb said in an interview with Press TV, adding that those who do not have American or western passport, have already applied for them.

"So I think the handwriting at least among the public in Israel is on the wall...[which] suggests history will reject the colonial enterprise sooner or later," Lamb stressed.

He said the CIA, in its report, alludes to the unexpectedly quick fall of the apartheid government in South Africa and recalls the disintegration of the Soviet Union in the early 1990s, suggesting the end to the dream of an 'Israeli land' would happen 'way sooner' than later.

The study further predicts the return of over one and a half million Israelis to Russia and other parts of Europe, and denotes a decline in Israeli births whereas a rise in the Palestinian population.

Lamb said given the Israeli conduct toward the Palestinians and the Gaza strip in particular, the American public -- which has been voicing its protest against Tel Aviv's measures in the last 25 years -- may 'not take it anymore'.

How might the Palestinians achieve the setting up of a viable state, without the use of violence?

Here are some points to ponder:

1. Israel's defence industry has done well as a result of 9/11 and other acts of allegedly 'fake' terror. ( Vigorous but vulnerable ).

So the Palestinians and their friends should avoid getting involved as patsies in false flag activities. Palestinians, and their friends, should learn to ignore the agents provocateurs within their ranks.

2. Acts of violence by Palestinians must be avoided, as they tend to be counter productive. Israel wants to portray the Palestinians as mad Moslems, so that Israel will continue to get the sympathy of the American public.

The Palestinians should realise that the leaders who advocate violence may be working, wittingly or unwittingly, for the Israelis.

3. Israel relies heavily on its young, educated, multilingual technicians. Friends of the Palestinians should try to lure these people away to safe, well paid jobs outside Israel.

Friends of the Palestinians should try to ensure that there is a boycott of the products of the Israeli tech industry.

4. Productivity in Israel's traditional industries is falling; Israel is becoming less competitive. ( Vigorous but vulnerable ).

Palestinians can patiently wait while Israel weakens.

5. In Israel, the % of families below the poverty line has gone up from 17% in 1998 to 20% in 2007, while the proportion of poor children has risen from 23% to 35%.

As the US dollar weakens, less money comes in from the USA.

Some poor Jews might decide to leave Israel.





6. Israel relies on foreign workers to do much of the hard, low-paid work. The Palestinians and their friends need to try to politely persuade these workers to stay away from Israel.

7. Israel's Jewish population is around 5 million.

The Israeli Arab population is just over 1 million.

The total number of Palestinians (living in Israel, the West Bank, Gaza, Jordan, and elsewhere) is well over 9 million.

The growth rate of the Israeli Arab population is 2.5%, while the growth rate of the Israeli Jewish population is 1.4%.

The growth rate of the Israeli Arab population is slowing down (from 3.3% in 1999 to 2.5% in 2006). The Israeli Arab population needs to produce more children.

8. Israel receives billions of dollars from the USA each year. Since 1973, Israel has cost the United States about $1.6 trillion.

That is more than $5,700 per American. (Economist tallies swelling cost of Israel to US csmonitor.com).

The Palestinians and their friends should make more effort to persuade the USA to stop giving money to Israel.

That means the Palestinians have to present a truly civilised image and not be provoked into stupid acts of violence.

9. Reportedly, the Israeli security services have made it their policy to create divisions among the Palestinians.

Reportedly, many Palestinian organisations have been infiltrated.

It would benefit the Palestinians if they became more united, by learning to ignore the extremists who may well be secretly working for Israel.

10. The Palestinians need to improve their levels of education, so that they are not so easily tricked and exploited.

128 of the 543 M.P.s have faced criminal charges, including:

Eleven M.P.s have recently been expelled for taking bribes.

The two main parties are Congress and the BJP.

About a fifth of the representatives of these two major parties have been under investigation for criminal activity.

The biography, "King Hussein of Jordan: A Political Life" (Yale University Press, 2008), is by Nigel Ashton, a senior lecturer at the London School of Economics.

It refers to CIA paymasters, LSD and fortune tellers.

Among the points made:

1. Hussein received "hundreds of thousands of dollars in brown envelopes from Americans, though he was too noble to open them in front of his CIA handler."

2. Linda Christian, a "fading starlet" from Hollywood, brought LSD to one of Hussein's parties. Hussein needed medical treatment afterward.

Hussein chose the day to attack based on the advice of his sister-in-law's fortune teller in London.

4. Hussein feared Egypt's President Nasser was plotting against him.

Hussein leaked the Israeli decision to declare war on Egypt, on 5 June 1967, to Nasser.

Nasser suspected this leak was a trick aimed to make him surrender.

5. In September 1973, Hussein revealed to Golda Meir that Anwar Sadat and Hafez Assad were planning to attack Israel.

Reportedly, she refused to believe that war was imminent.

6. Reportedly, Hussein got on well with Moshe Dayan and Yitzhak Rabin.

When there were bomb explosions in hotels in Jordan, on 9 November 2005, the media blamed Moslem extremists from Iraq.

However, it is likely that the CIA and Jordan's General Intelligence Directorate and Mossad know differently.

Among the dead were thirty-six Jordanians, mostly from a Muslim wedding, six Iraqis, five Palestinians, two Arab-Israelis, and three Chinese delegates of the People's Liberation Army.

The Palestinian fatalities included Major-General Bashir Nafeh, the head of military intelligence in the West Bank, Colonel Abed Allun, a high-ranking Preventive Security forces official, Jihad Fatouh, the commercial attache at the Palestinian Embassy in Cairo, and Mosab Khorma, a senior Palestinian-American banker.

Giant UK insurance company Aviva is continuing to pay a good dividend and its operating profits have risen.

Aviva had operating profits for 2008 of £2.3bn, up 4 per cent on a year earlier.

Panmure Gordon analyst Barrie Cornes said of Aviva's profits figures: "Solid, largely in line and no nasty surprises makes these a solid set of figures."

Hamid Gul, a former head of Pakistan's ISI security service, told one TV channel that India's RAW security service got Sri lanka's Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam to carry out the attack on the Sri Lankan cricket bus in Pakistan. The Arabic Nahrainnet website cited sources in Pakistan's Peshawar on 8 December 2008 who claimed that Saudi Arabian intelligence agencies have significantly increased the number of their covert operations.





The sources also reported that Saudi Arabia has extended its channels of communication across Pakistan and particularly Peshawar over the past three months.

According to information obtained from sources in Peshawar, Saudi Arabia has been directly supporting Jundullah to carry out the hostage taking of Iranian police officers.

The report claims Saudi Arabia and the CIA have been using Jundullah to destabilize Iran.

In July 2008, Pakistan's former Army Chief, General Mirza Aslam Baig, said Jundullah is the main recipient of US financial and military aid.

Baig said Washington has been providing Jundullah with training facilities to fuel unrest in the area and strain Tehran-Islamabad relations.

ABC News, in 2007, citing US and Pakistani intelligence sources, said that the group, which "has taken responsibility for the deaths and kidnappings of Iranian soldiers and officials", "has been secretly encouraged and advised by American officials."

In another report in July 2008, investigative journalist Seymour Hersh revealed that US Congressional leaders secretly agreed last year to President George W. Bush's $400-million funding request for a major escalation in covert operations in Iran.

5. Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, the so-called mastermind of 9-11, is believed to have attended college in North Carolina.

The real Shaikh Mohammed is considered by many analysts to be an agent of the Pakistan intelligence service ISI, which is generally considered to be controlled by the CIA.

"Mr Mohammed was an ISI asset; indeed, anyone who is 'handed over' by the ISI these days is almost certainly a former (or present) employee of the Pakistani agency, whose control of Taliban operatives amazed even the Pakistani government during the years before 2001. US counter-terrorism officials claim Shaikh Mohammed was in Germany before the 9 11 attacks, liaising with Mohamed Atta. A secretive U.S. eavesdropping agency monitored telephone conversations. But, the Germans weren't told about it – and when they asked Washington for further information, none was forthcoming.

There was already a $2 million reward for Mohammed in 1998. In 2000, the CIA monitered his presence at an al Qaeda meeting, yet they didn't arrest him. Why wasn't the 9/11 plot discovered in June 2001 when US intelligence learned Mohammed was sending terrorists to live in the US. 2. Omar Sheik is reported to have murdered US journalist Daniel Pearl

In his 2006 memoir In the Line of Fire, President Musharraf wrote that Omar Saeed Sheik "is a British national born to Pakistani parents in London" in December 1973.

Omar Sheik attended the London School of Economics (which reportedly has links to MI6).

3. On 3 February 2009, in the Pakistani city of Lahore, gunmen killed at least five Pakistan policemen and wounded up to six Sri Lankan cricket players. Cricketers wounded in Lahore attack / Sri Lankan cricketers injured in deadly gun attack in Pakistan .

The attackers, reportedly armed with Kalashnikovs, rocket launchers and hand grenades, targeted the Sri Lankan team's bus.

Habibur Rehman, Lahore's chief of police, said there were about 12 attackers, who "appeared to be well-trained." They appeared to have had formal combat training.

Video seen on news channels showed the cricket team's white van with its front window shattered. Pakistan TV showed footage of gunmen with rifles and backpacks running through the streets and firing on unidentified vehicles.

A New York Times story on 19 Feb. 2009 revealed that Ali al-Jarrah, a Lebanese Muslim Arab who reportedly is a spy for for Israeli intelligence, is a cousin of one of the Muslims alleged to have been one of the 9-11 hijackers.

One of Mr. Jarrah’s cousins, Ziad al-Jarrah, was among the 19 'hijackers' who allegedly carried out the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.

On 3 August 1993, investigative reporter Robert I. Friedman revealed in New York’s Village Voice that Ahmad Ajaj, a Palestinian held in federal custody for conspiracy in the first attack on the World Trade Center in 1993, may have been a Mossad mole.

Ajaj was arrested at Kennedy Airport on Sept. 1, 1992, after he arrived on a Pakistani International flight from Peshawar.

8. Breaking up Pakistan

On 3 December 2008, at Al Ahram Weekly, Abdus Sattar Ghazali wrote 'Behind the scenes' (Cached)

He tells us about the US-UK-Israel agenda for the Middle East and South Asia region.

Among the points made:

1. The Global Trends 2025 report by Thomas Fingar, US deputy director of national intelligence for analysis, suggests that Pakistan may become much smaller.

2. The New York Times reported on a "New Middle East" map published in 2006 by the US Air Force Journal along with an article by retired Lieutenant-Colonel Ralph Peters, entitled, "How a better Middle East would look?" The map and Peters suggested that a 'natural' Pakistan would be much smaller than today.

3. It can be argued that redrawing the map, from the Lebanon and Syria to Anatolia, Arabia, the Persian Gulf, the Iranian Plateau and South Asia is part of a longstanding Anglo-American and Israeli agenda.



4. "Constructive chaos" (violence and war) is the means to gradually achieve this objective.

5. There is a rapidly deteriorating situation in Pakistan's Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) in the wake of frequent US missile attacks and Pakistan's military operations.

The FATA region, along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, was peaceful before the US invasion of Afghanistan in 2001.

The commander of US forces in Afghanistan, General David McKiernan, was asked by a group of parliamentarians meeting with him at the residency of the US ambassador in Islamabad: Why did you Americans come to Afghanistan when it was so peaceful before you got there?

6. Some commentators suggest that the US is financing the Taliban. The point is to bog down the Pakistani army, they say, leaving the way open for the Americans to grab Pakistan's nuclear weapons.

Recently, in the officers' mess in Bajaur, the northern tribal region where the Pakistani army is stuck fighting militants, one officer offered his own theory: Osama bin Laden did not exist, he told a visiting journalist. Rather, he was a creation of the Americans, who needed an excuse to invade Afghanistan and encroach upon Pakistan.

In late February 2009, border guards (BDR) mutinied at their HQ in Dhaka, killing about 140 army officers.

Are the CIA and Mossad trying to force Bangladesh to stay part of the alleged CIA-Mossad-ISI-al-Qaeda gang?

2. The election of December 2008 resulted in a landslide victory for Sheikh Hasina's Awami League-led grand alliance,[3] which gained 263 out 300 seats.

Khaleda Zia's four-party alliance led by the Bangladesh Nationalist Party and the Islamist Jamaat-e-Islami Bangladesh received only 32 seats.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is the eldest of five children of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the founding father (and first president) of Bangladesh.

Someone may want to topple prime minister Hasina.

Some people suspect Mossad, the CIA, Pakistan Intelligence or Indian Intelligence could be involved in destabilising the Bangladesh government.

3. On 1 March 2009, The Times of India related that the Bangladesh mutineers have named a tycoon with Pakistan links.

"The preliminary interrogation of some of the rebels has thrown up the name of Salauddin Qadeer Chowdhury, a well-known shipping magnate and reportedly very close to the Pakistan military-intelligence complex and the opposition BNP.

"According to sources monitoring the situation, about one crore taka has already changed hands to help the mutiny along.

"Chowdhury, a close associate of opposition BNP leader Begum Khaleda Zia, was closely connected to the Chittagong arms drop case of April 2004 - the arms were apparently intended for ULFA. (militant group from Assam)

"The ships were caught carrying the arms.

"Salauddin Chowdhury, belonging to an old Chittagong family, has been close to Pakistan for decades...

"It is increasingly clear that the chief targets are the army chief Moeen Ahmed and prime minister Sheikh Hasina who, reports say, has been moved to an army guest house for her personal safety...

"Behind the mutiny is the war crimes tribunal that Sheikh Hasina promised to set up for the trial of Pakistani collaborators or razakars from the independence war. This had created trouble inside Bangladesh and Pakistan as well.

"In fact, Pakistan president Asif Ali Zardari sent an emissary to Sheikh Hasina, Pervez Ispahani, to persuade her to put off this trial as it could embarrass the Pak army considerably.

"After the dust has settled down, Sheikh Hasina and Ahmed are likely to launch a purge of their own in the army, which is likely to create its own tensions. In any case, it promises to keep Sheikh Hasina off balance for a while, as Bangladesh joins other tottering nations on India's periphery."

4. When there is terrorism in and around Bangladesh, some people blame the CIA or Mossad or Indian intelligence or Pakistan intelligence.

Reportedly, HuJi is an extremist Moslem organisation linked to the security services of certain countries.

Reportedly, in Bangladesh, Huji has set up a political party called the IDP.

2. Kazi Azizul Huq is an adviser to the IDP.

Azizul said that:

Dr Richard L Benkin, an American citizen, and Salah Uddin Shoaib Choudhury, helped in efforts to portray the IDP in a positive light.

3. Reportedly, "HuJi was originally created by RAW (Indian security service) but now it appears that MOSSAD have hijacked the group and the Indians are annoyed."

4. Reportedly, "Salah Uddin Shoaib Choudhury & Dr Richard L Benkin are contributors to the Intelligence Summit which is Israeli financed.

"Salah Uddin Shoaib Choudhury was charged several years ago for sedition and working for a foreign intelligence agency (MOSSAD)."

5. Reportedly, "all the bomb explosions perpetrated by HuJi (B) in Bangladesh were carried out with Indian explosives (the grenades and water gel had Indian markings). Some of the other explosives were traced to a mining company in India."

5. Bangladesh became independent in 1971, having broken away from Pakistan.

In 1971, Pakistan was the chief ally of the CIA in the region.

The CIA does not like socialist governments; the CIA tends to promote Islamism.

Bangladesh's first president was Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, head of the Awami League.

He faced many difficulties including famine, corruption and opposition from Islamists and the CIA.

He was assassinated in 1975.

8. Today 60 million of Bangladesh's poor are struggling to feed themselves.

9. From 2007 until 2009, there was a state of emergency, and the people who ran Bangladesh were the military.

The two main political parties are (1) Khaleda Zia's Bangladesh Nationalist Party and (2) Sheikh Hasina Wajed's Awami League.

In 2008, Islamists went on a rampage to protest against a draft law giving equal inheritance rights to men and women.

The government claims it might prosecute those who sided with the Pakistani army in the 1971 struggle for independence, when 3 million died.

A large number of leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami, Bangladesh's largest Islamist party, might stand trial, but Saudi Arabia objects to this.

Saudi Arabia helps keep Bangladesh afloat financially.

Derek Simpson is joint General Secretary of the UK's giant Unite trade union. Unite has given £13.4 million to the pro-war Labour Party since Gordon Brown became Prime Minister. According to The Guardian, 28 February 2009 (Government 'using fear to erode civil liberties'), a series of conferences across Britain have heard that "The government and the courts are collabarating in shaving away freedoms and pushing Britain to the brink of becoming a 'database' police state."

"Gilligan, of the Evening Standard, said the planned communications database would bring an end to privacy and with it 'an end of journalism'.

"He pointed out that the only arrest in the case of the illegal shooting to death by police of the Brazilian electrician Jean Charles de Menezes was that of a journalist who revealed that police statements were untrue."

Sir David Omand was the first holder in 2002 of the post of UK Security and Intelligence Coordinator, exercising overall direction on behalf of the Prime Minister of the national counter-terrorism strategy and building national resilience (“homeland security”).

3. What to do about the problem in the UK?

Ideally, we should kick out all the politicians, police chiefs, judges and civil servants who support the police state.

That means kicking out around 95% of Labour Members of Parliament.

4. Can judges be kicked out?

In the USA, "Judges in Pennsylvania’s Luzerne County admitted sentencing thousands of children to jail in return for kickbacks from a prison-management company.

"Judges Mark Ciavarella and Michael Conahan received a commission for every day they sent a child to private juvenile detention centres run by Pennsylvania Child Care and a sister company.

"The pay-offs came to $2.6m over seven years...

5. Can civil servants be kicked out?

Yes. They are our servants.

On 9 November 2003, Richard Norton-Taylor, the Guardian's security affairs editor, wrote:

"What has already emerged ... is the existence of a dark, almost Jacobean, cabal at the core of the Blair administration.

"It is a group of powerful, unelected people few would have heard of were it not for the evidence given to Hutton: Sir David Manning, the prime minister's foreign policy adviser; Sir David Omand, his security coordinator; and John Scarlett, chairman of the joint intelligence committee..." (There is a dark cabal around Blair)

Sir David Omand was among those to decide that David Kelly should be pursued for talking to the media about the Government's dossier on Iraq's alleged WMD.[3]

The people with the power to kick out bad civil servants and bad judges are the people in government.

What can be done?

A. In England, the answer is to vote Liberal.

In Scotland the answer is to vote for the SNP.

In Wales and Northern Ireland, vote for independence.

B. The UK needs to bring in a Swiss-style referendum system.

If a certain number of people call for a referendum on some policy of the government, then a referendum would have to be held; and the result of the referendum would be binding.

Perhaps even prime ministers could be got rid of by referenda.

6. Switzerland is not perfect but it is peaceful and prosperous, and we can learn from it.

Switzerland is divided up into cantons and towns (communes).

In Switzerland, the central government (federal government) is not given too much power; the cantons and towns have a lot of power; referendums are held.

The central government controls foreign policy, defense, the railways and the mint.

If the central government brings in a new policy, a referendum can be held to vote it down.

There is a six-month period during which a referendum can be called by any person or group able to get 50,000 signatures on a petition.

A central government policy can be thrown out by a simple majority vote in a referendum.

The cantons and communes control economic policy, welfare policy, the police, education and so on. Each canton has its own parliament and constitution.

Switzerland spends a lot on welfare and education but manages to keep taxes relatively low. This is because there are no huge ministeries full of useless civil servants, or bureaucrats.

Cantons and large communes have referendums and 'initiatives'. An 'initiative' is when an ordinary citizen proposes a new policy or law.

Hambali is believed to have worked for the CIA in Afghanistan.

From 1991 to 2000 Hambali lived in the village of Sungei Manggis, close to Kuala Lumpur, in Malaysia.

Hambali’s landlord said of Hambali’s visitors, “Some looked ... white.”

2. Living very near to Hambali, in Sungei Manggis, was Fauzi Hasbi, an agent of the Indonesian security services, who, reportedly, work closely with the CIA.

Hambali played a major role in the 1995 Bojinka plot, which is believed to have been an Operation-Northwoods-style CIA plot.

Operation Bojinka was a planned series of 'terrorist' attacks which was alleged to include the flying of a Cessna filled with explosives into CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia.

Operation Bojinka was abandoned after an apartment fire in Manila on January 6, 1995 led to the discovery by police of evidence of the plot.

3. Living near Hambali in this village were Imam Samudra (allegedly a key figure in the 2002 Bali bombings) and Abu Bakar Bashir, of Jemaah Islamiyah.

4. In January 2000, Hambali attended an al-Qaeda (CIA) summit in nearby Kuala Lumpur.

This summit discussed 9 11. [USA Today, 2/12/2002; CNN, 8/30/2002]

At the request of the CIA, the Malaysian Secret Service monitored the summit and then passed the information on to the US.

The CIA got pictures and video footage of Hambali at the meeting and already had pictures of him from a computer linked to the Bojinka plot.

In 2000, Fauzi Hasbi, Indonesian government agent, had a private meeting in his hotel with Bashir and the representative from Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF), a militant group in the Philippines.

Indonesian intelligence had at least one other mole known by the alias Dadang.

A US Treasury press release in 2003 stated that:

“[Hambali] was videotaped in a January 2000 meeting in Malaysia with two of the September 11, 2001 hijackers of AA Flight 77 - Khalid Almihdhar and Nawaf Alhazmi.” [US Department of the Treasury, 1/24/2003 ]

5. In 2000, Christmas Eve attacks in Indonesia comprised a series of 38 bombings in 11 cities and were directed against churches.

Nineteen people were killed and over a hundred injured. [Asia Times, 10/8/2004]

The al-Qaeda affiliate Jemaah Islamiyah (JI) was blamed.

In February 2001, the Indonesian newsweekly Tempo published a cover story suggesting links between the bombings and the Indonesian military, the TNI.

The article pointed out that Edi Sugiarto, who was quickly arrested and confessed to assembling 15 of the bombs used in the town of Medan, had long run a car repair shop in the province of Aceh.

Members of TNI and Indonesia’s special forces, Kopassus, regularly went to his shop for repairs and just to hang out.

Phone records indicated that Sugiarto called Fauzi Hasbi seven times before the bombings.

Hasbi is a leader of JI, but Tempo outed him as an Indonesian government mole.

In 2005, two years after Hasbi’s death, the Australian television program SBS Dateline provided additional evidence of Hasbi’s long-time links to the TNI (see 1979-February 22, 2003).

Fasbi also called Jacob Tanwijaya, a businessman well connected with the TNI, 35 times.

That businessman in turn talked on the phone to Lt. Col. Iwan Prilianto, a Kopassus special forces intelligence officer, over 70 times.

Fasbi made at least one call to another key figure in the bombings.

The International Crisis Group, an international think tank, later commented, “[I]t is hard to avoid the suspicion that someone in the armed forces must have known that at least the Medan part [of the bombings] was in the works…” [International Crisis Group, 12/11/2002]

Paul Wolfowitz was US ambassador to Indonesia (1986 to 1989). From 2001 to 2005, during the George W. Bush administration, Wolfowitz served as U.S. Deputy Secretary of Defense.

6. Jemaah Islamiyah (JI), the Southeast Asian Islamist group, was founded in 1992, and it is said to be linked to al Qaeda and to the US-trained Indonesian security services.

One of the founding members of JI was Indonesian government agent Fauzi Hasbi.

Hasbi helped arrange JI’s first major meeting, held in Bogor, Indonesia.

The Australian television program SBS Dateline will later comment: “The extraordinary story of Fauzi Hasbi raises many important questions about JI and the Indonesian authorities. Why didn’t they smash the terror group in its infancy?”

In 2005, Umar Abduh, an Indonesian Islamist who worked with Hasbi, claimed that in retrospect he realized that he and other militants were completely manipulated by the government. Complete 911 Timeline: Hambali

7. On 12 October 2002, bombs exploded near the Sari Club and the Padi Club in the heart of Kuta, in Bali. 202 people were killed and several hundred were injured.

On 16 October 2002 Indonesian police arrested a former Air Force officer who confessed to building the bomb.

This officer was later released.

According to a news story in the Sydney Morning Herald, 2 November 2002, the Indonesian security services may have handled the Bali bomb.

"Some time around the 30 October 2002, senior officers in the Indonesian military HQ gave a piece of information to a military attache from a Western embassy in Indonesia - the source of explosive used in the October 12 bombing in Bali was the head of the counter-terrorism unit with the army's special forces."

The father-in-law of the officer concerned is Hendropriyono, who was then Indonesia's spy chief.

Adm. Thomas Fargo, Commander, U.S. Pacific Command, welcomes Abdullah Mahmud Hendropriyono, Chief of Indonesia’s National Intelligence Agency, during an office call at Camp Smith, Hawaii, in January 2003 to discuss counterterrorism cooperation and mutual security interests.

Allegedly, Kuwaiti citizen Omar Al-Faruq played a part in the Bali bomb plot.

Al-Faruq was arrested in Bogor on June 5, 2002 and handed over to the US authorities.

Former Indonesian State Intelligence Coordinating Board (BAKIN) chief A.C. Manulang was quoted by Tempo as saying that Al-Faruq was most likely a CIA-recruited agent.

A Pentagon official in Washington has confirmed that al-Faruq escaped from a U.S. detention facility in Bagram, Afghanistan, on 10 July 2005.

The airline manifest of Garuda airlines shows that at least two generals from Jakarta visited Bali three days before the bombings and that they returned to Jakarta one day before the Sari Club was blown up.

This was confirmed by armed forces chief General Sutarto, who claimed that General Djaja Suparman was on vacation, while General Ryamizard Riyacudu, chief of staff, was said to have gone to Bali for health reasons.

General Suparman is allegedly one of the generals behind certain 'Moslem' militias.

He reportedly set up militias to counter student demonstrations in 1998.

One of these militias, Pram Swarkasa, allegedly became Laskar Jihad.

Bomb explosions in Indonesia have have often been linked to the military.

A bomb at the Attorney General's office in Jakarta in July 2000 went off one hour after Tommy Suharto had been interrogated by the police.

The bombs were reportedly traced back to the army and a former member of Suharto's guard.

A spate of explosions in the capital Jakarta in 2000 included a huge car-bomb blast in the underground parking lot of the Jakarta Stock Exchange.

Two members of Kopassus (army special forces) were convicted and jailed for that act of terrorism.

It was reported in the Jakarta Post that convicted Bali bomber Ali Imron had been seen, in 2004, having a Starbucks coffee in a plush Jakarta shopping mall in the company of top police official Brigadier General Gorries Mere. Imron apparently also visited the Hard Rock Cafe.

After Amrozi had been arrested for his part in the Bali Bomb, National Police chief General Da'i Bachtiar had a face to face meeting with him. Bachtiar laughed, shook hands and posed for photographs with Amrozi.

Most of the top Indonesian generals have been trained in the USA.

The Mail makes a link between 'Yachtgate' and the decision by Lord Mandelson, UK Trade Secretary, to expand London's Heathrow airport.

Airport operator BAA (owned by Spain's Ferrovial) is to get yet another runway at Heathrow, in the South East of the UK.

People in parts of the North and West of the UK feel that they never get things like airport runways.

Rudd

Public relations man Roland Rudd represents airport operator BAA.

Rudd, or his company Finsbury Ltd, "met with ministers at least five times in ten days in the run-up to Labour's unpopular decision to go ahead with plans for a third runway, and once a few months earlier."

Rudd, who is alleged to be worth £50million, "has had a long friendship with Lord Mandelson, who is godfather to his son."

Lord Mandelson, George Osborne (Conservative Party) and Nat Rothschild were guests on the yacht of Russian billionaire Oleg Deripaska.

Allegedly, Osborne revealed what Mandelson thought about Gordon Brown.

Reportedly, Nat Rothschild, on the advice of Rudd, launched a media offensive against Osborne.
