Dr Mahathir was Prime Minister of Malaysia from 1981 to 2003.
Malaysia is a successful Moslem country.
The Palestinians should copy Malaysia.
And so should the Americans.
The CIA has managed to wreck most of the Moslem countries that have tried to become prosperous and independent.
The CIA and its friends have, reportedly, promoted the extremists in Egypt, Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Palestine, Indonesia and so on; but in Malaysia, so far, the CIA has failed.
Malaysia, after independence, did not copy other Moslem countries such as Indonesia.
The USA put the military into power in Indonesia in 1965.
What did Malaysia do?
1. It put some controls on foreign investors, thus defying the IMF.
2. It developed a big middle class with domestic industry, public works and housing.
3. Malaysia pulled away economically from Indonesia and Bangladesh...

Malaysia is not entirely Moslem, but Islam is the official religion. According to the Population and Housing Census 2000 figures, approximately 60.4 percent of the population practiced Islam; 19.2 percent Buddhism; 9.1 percent Christianity; 6.3 percent Hinduism; and 2.6 percent traditional Chinese religions.
One reason for Malaysia's success is its former prime minister Dr Mahathir.
Mahathir knows who rules the world.

It is not without its faults but it is a happier country than most.
The ruling coalition won 199 out of 219 parliamentary seats in the 2004 elections.
The USA and its friends may be trying to wreck Malaysia? And they may be using opposition leader Mr Anwar, who pretends to be a keen Moslem.

On 16 July 2008, Malaysian police arrested Malaysian opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim.
Allegations of sodomy have been levelled against Anwar by a male aide.

In September 2000, Malaysian politician Lim Kit Siang called on Prime Minister Mahathir to declare the outcome of three years of police investigations as to whether Anwar is a CIA agent and to state whether the United States is the country he meant in a Merdeka Day message as the country out to 'recolonize' Malaysia
Anwar was alleged to have received RM60 million from a Mr Nallakaruppan.
Former Bank Negara assistant governor Datuk Abdul Murad Khalid accused Anwar of having amassed a fortune of RM3 billion while in government through over 20 "Master Accounts".
Reference was made to the American-based organisation called Asia Pacific Policy Centre (APPC) headed by Douglas H. Paal, who was former Senior Director from Asian Affairs (1989 to 1993) of the National Security Council (NSC) of the United States.
MPs used parliamentary immunity to claim in Parliament that Anwar was a CIA agent on the basis that the APPC was a CIA outfit and Douglas Paal a CIA agent.
Oddly, Anwar had allegedly given money to APPC and Douglas Paal.

"Mr Anwar is out of jail and again leading opposition to the entrenched elite he was once part of." Malaysia is of strategic importance.
Admiral Thomas Fargo, head of U.S forces in the Asia-Pacific in his testimony to U.S House Armed Services Committee had suggested that U.S troops might assist in patrolling the straits to deter terrorists who might target shipping in the Malacca Straits. This suggestion has been resented both by Malaysia and Indonesia.

Israel likes to control Turkey, but things may be changing.
In Turkey there has been a secret 'fascist' organisation called Ergenekon, which, reportedly, was originally set up by the CIA and its friends.
Ergenekon is reportedly behind most acts of terrorism in Turkey.
Reportedly, Mossad has influence within Ergenekon, and has tried to use it to topple the Turkish prime minister.
86 people, including retired generals, journalists and politicians, have been on trial. On 22 January 2009 a further 39 people (five of them serving army officers) were arrested. (Conspiracy theories )
The leaked diaries of a retired naval commander have revealed that some fellow officers (two of whom are now in jail for alleged links to Ergenekon) had plotted at least two coups against the present Turkish prime minister Mr Erdogan. (Conspiracy theories )
The military, and presumably Ergenekon, are said to be split into two factions. There are those who see the value of having links with neighbours Russia and Iran and those who oppose this. The latter faction want to keep close to Israel, the USA and Europe.
Turkish prime minister Recep Erdogan has recently blasted Israel for its attacks on Gaza.
Behind the scenes, one half of the military wants to continue its close ties to Israel.

1. What is one to make of the arrests of Ergenekon people?
This may signal that Mossad and its friends have fallen out with certain Ergenekon generals.
It may signal that the Turkish government is fed up with Mossad and the CIA using Ergenekon to carry out acts of terrorism.
There may be a split within Ergenekon.
Why has Ergenekon been outed?
2. In early January 2009, the Turkish daily Milliyet stated that a report had found that "Mossad has been behind the Ergenekon plot to topple the Turkish government."
Fars news reported that Investigators uncovered evidence that a Jewish rabbi named Tuncay Guney, who worked for Mossad and fled to Canada in 2004, was a key figure behind attempts to overthrow the Turkish government.
Sabah daily reported that Guney infiltrated Ergenekon and another organization known as JITEM, an illegal intelligence unit linked with the police and suspected of hundreds of murders and kidnappings.
Turkish daily Yeni Safak has claimed that Turkish security forces have discovered documents in Guney’s Istanbul house that disclose information concerning suspicious investment and economic activities by certain Jewish businessmen in Turkey.
The businessmen allegedly have significant relations with individuals, political groups and cultural organizations affiliated with the Ergenekon group.
Turkish security forces have detained many members of the Ergenekon group, including retired army generals, politicians, popular lawyers and famous journalists. The individuals currently face trail on charges of plotting to overthrow Turkish Prime Minister, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Mr. Ozdag said "The US aims to establish a federal Turkey instead of unitary Turkish state".
Prof. Ozdag claimed that the European Union (EU) too makes efforts to shift Turkey's unitary state into an ethnic based federal Turkey state.
4. A report in Turkish Weekly, 23 January 2009, suggests that some Ergenekon people may have turned against the USA and Israel. (Ergenekon's Foreign Policy Guide)
According to a writer in Turkish Weekly:
"Most of the Ergenekon members are anti-Semitic. "They claim that the MOSSAD has played a very dirty role in Turkish politics and aimed to divide the country into poles."
5. So, it would seem that Ergenekon's problems may be caused by a split within Ergenekon.
Israel may be outing anti-Israel members of Ergenekon; and anti-Israel members of Ergenekon may be outing pro-Israel members of Ergenekon.
Israel may have to find a new set of people to carry out its acts of terrorism.

On 29 January 2009, Israel protested against the decision by a Spanish judge to probe the Israeli bombing raid in Gaza, on 22 July 2002, which involved crimes against humanity.
14 civilians were killed, mainly children.
Senior Israeli army officers, including former defence minister Benjamin Ben-Eliezer, are implicated.

The 2002 bombing raid was designed by Israel to make Palestinians angry.
The hope was that any retaliation would give Israel an excuse to wipe out yet more people and infrastructure in Gaza.

The Israeli defence ministry said in a statement that Barak "vehemently rejects the insane announcement by a Spanish judge."
A spokesman said: "Anyone who considers the elimination of children a crime against humanity lives in an upside-down world."
Israel's penal code permits it to try people for crimes committed outside its borders.
"We can organise more terror in Spain if the goy judge does not drop the investigation."
Meanwhile, a US envoy has been in Nazi Germany to get his instructions from his bosses Meir Dago, Yuval Shitskin and army chief Lieutenant General Gabi Imanazi.
Police in Madrid, Alicante and Barcelona have arrested 6 people in connection with a $600million shares fraud on the London Stock Exchange.
According to Spanish National Radio one of the men arrested in the fraud is an agent for the Israeli intelligence service, Mossad.
Benjamin Ben Eliezer - No relation to Hermann Göring?
Warren is being investigated by the U.S. Justice Department for allegedly raping women who claim he laced their drinks with a knock-out drug.
An affidavit says the first victim states she was raped by Warren in Sept. 2007 after being invited to a party at Warren's residence by U.S. embassy employees.
She told a State Department investigator that after Warren prepared a mixed drink of cola and whiskey, she felt unwell.
When she woke up the next morning, "she was lying on a bed, completely nude, with no memory of how she had been undressed."
She said she realized "she recently had engaged in sexual intercourse, though she had no memory of having intercourse."
According to the affidavit, a second alleged victim told a similar story, saying Warren met her at the U.S. embassy and invited her for a "tour of his home" where she said he prepared an apple martini for her "out of her sight."
The second victim said she suddenly felt faint and went to the bathroom.
She could see and hear, but she could not move, the affidavit says.
She told investigators Warren "was attempting to remove her pants."
The bin Ladens like to keep close to the Bush family
The alleged victim said she remembers being in Warren's bed and asking him to stop, but that "Warren made a statement to the effect of 'nobody stays in my expensive sheets with clothes on.'"
She told investigators "as she slipped in and out of consciousness she had conscious images of Warren penetrating her vagina repeatedly with his penis."
Warren admitted there were photographs of the two women on his personal laptop.
U.S. officials found videos that appear to have been secretly recorded and show, they say, Warren engaged in sexual acts.
Officials say one of the alleged victims is seen on tape, in a "semi-conscious state."
As the station chief in Algiers, Warren may know quite a lot about the al Qaeda (al CIAda) group responsible for a wave of bombings in Algeria.
In the most serious incident, 48 people were killed in a bombing in Aug. 2008 in Algiers, blamed on the al Qaeda group.
The Algerian ambassador to the United Nations, Mourad Benmehid, said his government had not been notified by the U.S. of the rape allegations or the criminal investigation.
No charges have been filed.
There has been terrorism in Algeria for many decades.

Beginning in November 1954, the FLN launched attacks against the French.
The war ended in 1962 and an FLN government took over.
By 1991, the FLN government was seen as being corrupt and unpopular.
In 1991, a Moslem party, the Islamic Salavation Front (FIS), was about to win the elections.
The FLN government cancelled the elections and effectively there was rule by the military.
It is believed that members of the security services, disguised as terrorists, then began to carry out acts of terrorism, in order to discredit the Islamic Salvation Front.

These security services may be Algerian and / or French and / or American.

In February 2001, 'The Dirty War', by Habib Souaidia, a former Algerian army officer, was published.

Habib writes:"I have seen colleagues burn alive a 15-year-old child.
"I have seen soldiers disguising themselves as terrorists and massacring civilians.
"I have seen colonels kill mere suspects in cold blood.
Some observers think that within the military there is a pro-Russian faction and a pro-American/French faction.
The most likely explanation for recent events is that the bombs are meant to strengthen the pro-American/French faction.
6. How strong is the American interest in Algeria?
The United States is building a huge military surveillance base at Tamanrasset in Algeria.
US forces are training the Algerian military.
Washington wants to provide Algiers with pilot-less drone planes.
This military base is a result of agreements signed between Washington and Algiers for oil industry development.
In addition, the United States has worked to include Algeria in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), and considers this North African country one of its most important allies outside of NATO. - Fake terror in Algeria; the US military in Algeria; oil in Algeria.
In 2001, the German Green Party was part of the German government of Chancellor Gerhard Schröder and supported the 2001 Afghan War.
One presumes Germany's Green Party has been taken over by the CIA-Mossad.
In 2007, Reinhard Bütikofer, who along with Claudia Roth is co-leader of the Greens, expressly defended Germany’s international military missions. 8. In Gaza there has been:
Enforced starvation The denial of humanitarian aid The theft by the Israelis of life-giving resources such as fuel and water The denial of medicines The systematic destruction of infrastructure The killing and maiming of the civilian population, 50 per cent of whom are children
All this falls "within the international standard of the Genocide Convention."
9. "Is it an irresponsible overstatement," asked Richard Falk, UN special rapporteur for human rights in the occupied Palestinian territories and international law authority at Princeton University, "to associate the treatment of Palestinians with this criminalised Nazi record of collective atrocity? I think not."

10. Today, "it is a joint US-Israeli project.

On the eve of his Senate confirmation hearing (Jan. 22, 2009), new information has emerged showing that Adm. Dennis Blair - President Obama's nominee for US Director of National Intelligence - lied about his knowledge of a terrorist massacre that occured before a pivotal meeting in which Blair offered support and US aid to the commander of the massacre forces.
The massacre took place at the Liquica Catholic church in Indonesian-occupied East Timor two days before Blair met face-to-face with the Indonesian armed forces commander, Gen. Wiranto
(the massacre occurred on April 6, 1999; Blair and Wiranto met April 8).
A classified US cable shows that rather than telling Wiranto to stop the killing, Blair invited Wiranto to be his guest in Hawaii, offered him new US military aid, and told the Indonesian general that he was "working hard" on his behalf, lobbying the US government to restore US military training aid for Indonesia.
Blair's support at that crucial April 8 meeting buoyed Wiranto, and his forces increased the Timor killings, which came to include new attacks on churches and clergy, mass arsons, and political rapes.
Wiranto's militias, who murdered Christians. At least one third of the population of East Timor died after Kissinger and Ford, in 1975, gave Suharto their approval for an Indonesian invasion. The USA continued to support Indonesia's military at the time of the 1999 referendum on independence.
Since I disclosed the contents of that Blair-Wiranto meeting in a report filed in 1999 (see Allan Nairn, "US Complicity in Timor," The Nation, Sept. 27, 1999, reprinted in the Jan. 6 '09 News and Comment posting referenced above), Blair has defended himself by claiming that he went into the meeting with Wiranto not yet knowing of the Liquica massacre.
The Associated Press reported this month, in a January 9 dispatch: "Blair has said he only learned of the massacre a few days after the meeting."

East Timor. The USA reportedly trained the bad guys.
But now, contemporaneous records have emerged - from the US Embassy in Jakarta, and from the Catholic Church - showing that the massacre was publicly described by Timor's Bishop one day before the Blair-Wiranto meeting, and that while Blair was in Jakarta preparing for the meeting, US officials who were there with him were discussing the massacre in graphic detail.
One written message from a US official even noted: "In the face of the scores of horrible slash wounds at Liquica, there are no surgeons to treat them."
The US official was referring to the fact that, as had been disclosed at the Timor Bishop's April 7 press conference, dozens of refugees sheltering in the church had been hacked to death with machetes, but as Blair and Wiranto prepared to meet, some of those slashed were still alive.
Another Jakarta dispatch by senior US personnel written prior to the Blair-Wiranto sitdown refers explicitly to Blair's presence, to his impending meeting with Wiranto, and, crucially, to the detail and rough death toll of the already-known Liquica massacre.
"[W]e have the CINCPAC here today (Command[e]r in Chief of the Pacific]," the message said, referring to Blair by title; and it stated, in regard to what Wiranto's men had done: "Now we may have 40 people - who were cowering in a church - dead."
Bishop Carlos Ximenes Belo, the Nobel Peace Prize winner, had made the key facts of the massacre clear in his April 7, 1999 press conference, which took place the day before the Blair-Wiranto meeting.
Belo was accompanied by Father Rafael Dos Santos, the Liquica pastor who survived the massacre. Their authoritative accounts received same-day coverage in the Western and local press and were also recounted in church bulletins and in US intelligence and diplomatic traffic.
For Blair to claim that he did not know of these materials or his US colleagues' discussions taking place all around him is to strain credulity to the breaking point, especially since he's being nominated as intelligence chief, and since his meeting with Wiranto was cleared by Washington precisely to address the Timor crisis.
Bishop Belo and Father Dos Santos said the following in their publicly broadcast remarks. This account is excerpted from "Timorese Bishop says more than 25 killed in church massacre," DILI, East Timor, April 7 [1999], (AFP):
"Nobel peace laureate Bishop Carlos Ximenes Belo accused Indonesian-backed militia on Wednesday [April 7] of massacring more than 25 people in East Timor outside a church.
"Belo was speaking at a press conference with Father Rafael Dos Santos who described how refugees sheltering in his church and home at Liquisa [an alternate spelling of Liquica], 30 kilometers (20 miles) west of the Timorese capital Dili, were hacked down with machetes.
"Dos Santos said Indonesian mobile brigade police stood behind the militia during the attack, and fired into the air.
"When the attack began 'people ran for cover wherever they could,' he said. Some ran into his house and some into the church before being forced out when troops fired teargas into the buildings. 'When they came out of the church, their eyes streaming, they were mown down, hacked to death with machetes, by the Besi Merah Putih (Red and White Iron militia),' he said ...
"Belo travelled to Liquisa earlier Wednesday to visit the site of the attack with Indonesia's East Timor military commander Colonel Tono Suratman. 'I have a paper from the military commander that there were 25 bodies inside the priest's house,' he said, 'but according to other witnesses outside around the church there were other bodies. I don't know exactly how many.'
"Belo had been quoted by the Portugese news agency Lusa on Tuesday [April 6] as saying he had first been informed by the Indonesian military of the deaths of 40 people in the church and five in the priest's house... 'Firstly I am sad, for what happened in Liquisa ... secondly I am ashamed to be a citizen of the (Indonesian) republic. It has taken us back to the middle ages,' Belo said."

Obama's Executive Order merely relates to treatment of "an individual in the custody or under the effective control of an officer, employee, or other agent of the United States Government, or detained within a facility owned, operated, or controlled by a department or agency of the United States, in any armed conflict…"
This means that it does not prohibit direct torture by Americans outside environments of "armed conflict," which is where much torture happens anyway since many repressive regimes aren’t in armed conflict.
6. The USA can still pay, train, equip and guide foreign torturers, and see to it that they, and their US patrons, don’t face local or international justice.

Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) is owed $3.47 billion by LyondellBasell Industries.
Of the £2.5 billion loaned to Leonid Blavatnik, the bank has suggested that it may write-off as much as £1 billion.
Blavatnik originally borrowed the money from the Dutch bank ABN Amro. The Royal Bank of Scotland led a consortium takeover of ABN Amro, in 2007.

According to The Wall Street Journal, 10 October 2008, US authorities are investigating a wire transfer of funds originating with UC Rusal and passing through Barclays PLC offices in New York and London.
Some of the funds ended up with Deripaska consultants in Washington who are being investigated for possible money laundering or other crimes.
6. According to The Sunday Times, 12 October 2008, UK government minister Peter Mandelson gave trade concessions worth up to £50m a year to Russian aluminium tycoon Oleg Deripaska while Mandelson was European Union trade commissioner. (Mandelson joins richest Russian on superyacht)
In a 2005 document signed by Mandelson, it was agreed the European commission would scrap measures against Deripaska’s company, Rusal Sayanal, to prevent it 'dumping' cheap aluminium foil in Europe.
The document meant the import duty for Rusal Sayanal was set at zero. All other Russian companies exporting the same product were charged at 14.9%.
One of Deripaska’s top financial advisers is Nat Rothschild, who is co-chairman of a New York hedge fund and a friend of Mandelson’s.

Many Americans believe that Osama bin Laden and al Qaeda carried out the 9 11 attacks.
Their 'proof' involves what the media tells them.
There is an assumption that the media does not lie about such an important issue.
Sometimes the media tells the truth; but then the newspaper gets taken over.
But, what if the 'proposition' or assumtion that the media would not lie turns out to be impossible to prove.
What if, as a result of Operation Mockingbird, much of the media is controlled by the CIA?
Newsweek reported that five of the 9 11 'hijackers', or people with the same names as the 'hijackers', had been trained at US military bases. Daniel Hopsicker reported that Atta and several other 'hijackers' learnt to fly at an airfield in Venice Florida, long used for CIA operations. The BBC reported on the close business and personal relations between the bin Ladens and the Bush family.
But how do you 'prove' that Newsweek and Hopsicker and the BBC got it right?

The government story is based on the confession of Guy Fawkes. But this confession was obtained under torture and is probably untrue.
A careful look at all the evidence suggests that the so called Gunpowder plot was an inside-job, although this cannot be proved 100%.

If you look at the list of Obama appointments, and see that most of the key appointments are either Zionists or Bilderbergers or both, this might suggest that Obama is a bad guy. But it is difficult to prove 100%.

One reason why the USA is in such deep trouble is because so many of the assumptions made by Americans are probably untrue.
Here is a list of assumptions that are most likely to be untrue:

2. The CIA is not the brains behind terrorism in Europe, including the Bologna Bombing.
3. The CIA does not control the mainstream media.
4. Elections are not rigged.
5. Jewish terrorists did not steal the land of the Palestinians.

On 25 November 2008, PAD guards were caught on Thai television opening fire from a pick-up truck on pro-government supporters.

It was supposed to be the land of smiling people, but the three girls at the door of the seedy hotel were not smiling. The taxi driver had insisted we stop at this place. "There are girls like young film stars," he had said. My protestations had been ignored.
The girls looked a picture of utter misery. They had probably been kidnapped and were missing their mums.
I refused to get out of the taxi and got driven safely back to Bangkok's Asia hotel.

Around the same time, a Pakistani gang leader, wanted for robbery and extortion, was gunned down in Bangkok.
In March 2001 a bomb wrecked a Thai Airways plane at Bangkok's international airport. Police suspect the attack could be linked to prime minister Thaksin's pledge to crack down on drug smuggling.

When I visited Pattaya, the vibes got worse. There was an aura of evil. Nobody seemed friendly, in any genuine way.
On the beach I got chatting to a businessman called Panya and his friend who was a local policeman. They suggested I might like to join them for lunch at a fish restaurant. It was a super meal, but muggins had to pay.
I met a pretty girl called X. Her father was dying of AIDS.
What I read in the local newspapers came as a bit of a shock.
48 year old tourist Peter A was found dead in his hotel room in Soi Pattayaland 3, in Pattaya. The deceased's room had been ransacked and there was blood all over the bathroom, according to the Pattaya Mail.
40 year old tourist Erich B fell from his Pattaya hotel room to his death. Earlier, a local Thai had been seen coming out of his room, according to the Pattaya Mail.
43 year old Oleg C was found dead in his Pattaya hotel room. He had been beaten.
A tourist in his 50's was found dead in a locked room...
"Within a two month period, there have been 7 foreigner deaths (in Pattaya)" reported the Pattaya Mail in a recent edition.
42 year old Peter D was assaulted by a gang of knife wielding thugs and had to receive 70 stitches. The attack took place at a bar on Soi 2, in Pattaya.
35 year old Brian E lost most of his valuables when his South Pattaya hotel room was burgled....
The Pattaya Mail had a report about money being extracted from tourists, by the police.
"There are police behind the scenes helping the foreign mafia do their dirty work," reported the Pattaya Mail.
Female tourists are not necessarily totally safe in Thailand.
23 year-old Johanne M from Cheshire was raped and murdered by a Thai monk. Her body was found south-west of Bangkok.
24-year old Kirsty J was raped and killed in a guesthouse in Chiang Mai.
On the island of Phuket a 22 year old student from Lanarkshire was brutally raped.
There is now a website urging people to boycott Thailand. night-flight.com/dbt/ urges tourists to avoid Thailand because of incidents like the following :
There was a fire in a hotel. Several young girls, who had been chained to their beds, were burnt to death.
The main risk to the tourist may be the "mysterious death" in a hotel room. The tourist is found dead. His money is gone. He has been drugged. The police say it was a heart attack, or suicide.
How about Bognor this year? It rains a lot, but at least they speak English.

Lenny Harper is the brave former police chief who was investigating child abuse and child murder on the island of Jersey.
This child abuse has been linked to powerful child abuse rings worldwide.
Top people on Jersey were alleged to be involved in horrific crimes.
Now the authorities on Jersey have put Lenny Harper under criminal investigation.
Harper
Lenny Harper, who recently retired from the police and who lives in Scotland, has been called back to Jersey for a court hearing
Harper refused because he fears arrest as a "scapegoat".
Harper has been accused of keeping vital information from the police team that replaced him.
He is also alleged to have breached data protection and official secrets laws by leaking information about the investigation to the media.
On 13 November 2008, Harper received a letter from Jersey attorney-general William Bailhache ordering him to court on 28 January 2009.
Harper denies withholding evidence.
He said: "I have been ordered to appear in Jersey at the Royal Court to give evidence and provide notebooks.
"They also want to see a farewell card which my former staff signed which they say contains evidence.
"The order is not enforceable in the United Kingdom.
"I have no evidence whatsoever to give or documents which the Jersey authorities do not have. They have spent many thousands of pounds trying to implicate me in Official Secrets Act and data protection offences on no evidence.
"I am being told certain officials in Jersey are falsely briefing against me and I would need to be stupid to expose myself to these people."
Harper is prepared to answer the questions in a British court but not in a Jersey court.
He said: "They are using me as a scapegoat so they can drop all the abuse charges.
"Nothing should detract from the fact that there remain serious, credible allegations about the abuse of children in care in Jersey and these must be investigated."
Graham Power, Jersey's chief of police, did not please the top people on Jersey. He was suspended and is being investigated.
Wathelet - allegations of child abuse
In 1992, Belgian Justice Minister Melchior Wathelet released Marc Dutroux on parole.
Dutroux had served slightly more than three years of a 13 year sentence for raping young girls.
Dutroux was later convicted of having kidnapped, tortured and sexually abused six girls during 1995 and 1996, ranging in age from 8 to 19, two of whom he murdered. - Melchior Wathelet - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"According to a police document from the Dutroux enquiry, obtained by The Sprout, serious allegations about Wathelet’s involvement in paedophilia came to light.
"In these documents, a police source and senior psychotherapist informed a colleague of a session he had been having with a client. The client disclosed the details of events in Verviers (where Wathelet was Mayor) during 1992. He spoke of orgies that had been taking place in a country house where two children had been involved.
"These children, between 8 and 10 years old, had come from a children’s home, with the complicity of the director of the home. The 'party', it is alleged in the police documents, was organised partly by Wathelet. The client reported his involvement in the parties to the children’s welfare office in Verviers and to the local police. In return he received threats from both organisations and from other parties...
"This case was never investigated; as the police report confirms: 'the 2 dossiers on the child welfare services have disappeared'.
"Three years after this report, Wathelet became Belgium’s Minister for Defence in June 1995 but was rapidly nominated to the post of Belgium’s representative at the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg, where he arrived on the 2nd September."
Lenny Harper, who was the senior detective in the Jersey child murder investigation, found the remains of five children in a former boys’ home on the island of Jersey (UK).
A memorandum from Lenny Harper claims that the investigation has been hampered by prosecutors in Jersey.
According to Harper, this is making the victims lose faith in the justice system; and it is making it harder to get witnesses to come forward because of fears that alleged perpetrators will not be put on trial.
Mr Harper claims that the island’s Attorney-General, William Bailhache, and his office are held in 'total contempt' by victims of child abuse after repeatedly failing to bring offenders to justice.
Mr Harper’s memo claims suspects are being freed without charge on apparently spurious grounds.
According to Harper: "This is illustrated by a briefing I have had from the NSPCC counsellor working alongside us. He has received a text message from a victim (which he has shown to me) to say ‘It is a joke. Another two walk away. No wonder no one will come forward’. "
Philip Sinel, lawyer for the Jersey Care Leavers’ Association, told prosecutors that crucial evidence was being withheld because victims did not trust the authorities. "My clients and others know far more than has been given to the police already," Mr Sinel said.
Mr Harper’s report discloses that William Bailhache, the Attorney-General, appointed a prosecution barrister, Simon Thomas, to the police inquiry.
Police claim that Mr Thomas advised them that a 70-year-old man and his wife, 69, believed to have been former foster parents, could be arrested and charged with grave and criminal assault.
The report states that Mr Thomas denied having given such advice.
They were taken into custody on June 24 but at 5pm Mr Thomas told detectives he had revised his view, citing as reasons that the wife was unwell, and that the couple’s children said their parents were 'good people'.
According to Harper, in another child abuse case, the police suffered delays after sending a file to Mr Thomas about Jane and Alan Maguire, who had run a care home. A previous prosecution against the Maguires for assault was dropped for lack of evidence in 1998 by Michael Birt, QC, then the Jersey Attorney-General.
Mr Birt is now the second most powerful judge as Deputy Bailiff.
The Maguires live in France and no extradition has been sought.
Sir Philip Bailhache, Bailiff, is head of Jersey's judiciary. He made a speech saying that no bodies had been found. As chairman of parliament he switched off a microphone when a senator tried to apologise for Jersey’s child abuse. He is the Attorney-General’s brother.
William Bailhache, QC, the Attorney-General, decides prosecutions and is legal adviser to the Jersey Government, in whose care the children had been placed. He was a partner in the law firm that represented alleged victims of Jane and Alan Maguire, who ran a care home. None of the clients received compensation.
Michael Birt, QC, Deputy Bailiff, was the Attorney-General who discontinued prosecution against the Maguires.
BBC news, on 9 August 2008, reminded us of some of the facts of the Jersey case.
Deputy Chief Officer Lenny Harper refers to people who have engaged in a "day by day attack" on the inquiry team and the alleged victims of abuse.
Mr Harper told the Telegraph: "I can quite clearly say that the investigation is being held up. There are people on the island who just don't want us going down the route of this inquiry."
Mr Harper gave details of why he is so convinced that someone deliberately concealed the bones and teeth of five children, perhaps after murdering them.
Mr Harper says that because some of the 100 bone fragments had been cut, and because the 65 milk teeth found at the home had roots on them, meaning they did not come out naturally, children were either murdered or their bodies were illegally concealed.
Police have 80 names of people suspected of physical and sexual abuse at Haut de la Garenne.
Harper said: "We are walking through treacle at the moment. One file has been with the Attorney General's office since April 29 and it's still showing no signs of moving at the moment.
Harper said of the bones: "They had been taken from one part of the building to another and put on top of the hard, compact, undisturbed original floor of the cellars. They had been spread about and covered with a thin layer of topsoil. Why would someone do that unless there was a deliberate attempt to conceal them?"
Mr Harper said tests on soot found with the bones showed they had been burned in a furnace in another part of the building, while archaeological evidence suggested they had been concealed in the 1960s or 70s.

In the UK, it has been alleged that dangerous child abusers held key positions in certain local government authorities, such as Islington in London.
It has been alleged that these dangerous child abusers had links to child abuse on the island of Jersey and beyond.
1. Member of Parliament John Hemming discovered that Children were illegally placed in care on Jersey by Birmingham social services.
The whereabouts of at least one of these children remains unknown.
2. John Hemming, believes children from other parts of the UK were taken to Jersey.
3. Hemming says: 'The Government has refused to order councils to check properly because it does not want to open a can of worms, on the links between abusers in England and Jersey.'
4. UK Schools Minister Kevin Brennan has told Parliament that children from the UK cannot be placed in care in Jersey without a court order.
Yet Birmingham children were sent to Jersey without such orders.
5. Hemming has asked English councils (local governments) to check their records but 'Most seem only to have done cursory checks, just checking recent electronic files, or asking around the office.'
Some councils, including Islington, have refused to check their records.
6.In Islington in North London a child sex network infiltrated 12 children's homes, while Margaret Hodge (friend of Tony Blair) was council leader.
Key staff, The Mail on Sunday revealed, were from Jersey or had strong Channel Islands connections.
Liz Davies, a former Islington senior social worker, said:
'It is becoming clear that children at Haut de la Garenne (on Jersey) were sent on holiday to children's homes in England which were also notorious for abuse, while the children in the English homes they went to were sent to Haut de la Garenne. They literally swapped beds...
'I am perturbed that police in Britain have not written to all local authorities on the mainland to demand they check which children they sent to Jersey.'

Jason Swift
In 1985, 14-year-old Jason Swift was killed by a child-abuse gang.
Sidney Cooke, Leslie Bailey, Robert Oliver, and Lennie Smith, were imprisoned in 1989 for the manslaughter of Jason Swift.
Cooke and his gang had sexually tortured and prostituted a number of boys.
The gang is believed to have killed at least nine children.[2]
Cooke was sentenced to 19 years in prison.
In 1998, Cooke was let out of prison eight years early.
There have been allegations that very powerful peoplehave been involved in a child-abuse ring connected to Islington children's homes. ( Jersey child abuse link to Islington, London)
In 1982 Margaret Hodge (nee Oppenheimer) became Islington council leader.
She became a close friend of Tony Blair, who lived in Islington, a few doors away from Hodge.
In February 1990 Liz Davies and David Cofie, senior social workers, discovered evidence of sex abuse of children and reported it to a residents' meeting attended by Mrs Hodge.
In May 1990 Mr Cofie and Ms Davies were told by Lyn Cusack, assistant director of social services, to stop interviewing children about the abuse claims.
On 1 May 1997 Tony Blair moved from Islington to Downing Street.
Sarah Benford, 14, disappeared from Welford House children's home in Northampton in April 2000.
She is still missing.
The UK's Police National Missing Persons Bureau has 1,418 "open cases" of missing children.
According to Police figures more than 100 children who should be in care have been missing for at least four years.
Many children who go missing are not reported to the police.
Member of parliament Helen Southworth says: "All figures on children missing from anywhere are estimates because, astonishingly, there is no requirement for data to be recorded or collected nationally."
Almost 1,000 children went missing from UK residential and foster care in 2007.
The number that went missing from care increased from 570 in 1997 to 950 in 2007.

1. In May 2008, Jersey police charged Michael Aubin, 45, with alleged offences relating to the former Haut de la Garenne children's home in Jersey.
Mr Aubin, who was born in Jersey but now lives in Southampton, was arrested in the UK by Jersey officers.
He has been charged with one count of sodomy against a male child and three counts of indecent assault against two other male children.
All of the alleged offences took place between 1977 and 1980, police said.The investigators added further charges may follow
2. English solicitors Dyer Burdett & Co (DBC) have set up a legal team to advise former residents of the Haut de la Garenne children's home on Jersey.
DBC is already representing 18 people who were allegedly physically and sexually abused whilst in the care of Portsmouth Corporation during the 1950s and 60s.
Reg said he was taken into care at the home in 1956, aged eight, and stayed there for three years.
A spokeswoman for Hampshire Police said: 'We have no plans to dig up any sites in Portsmouth and continue to hold the position that there are no links between allegations made in reference to the Children's Cottage Homes in Cosham and the ongoing investigation in Jersey.'
Les Cummings, 63, is campaigning for an apology from Portsmouth City Council for the abuse he claims to have at the hands of his foster father and at the Children's Cottage Homes.
A total of 21 men and women told detectives they suffered physical and sexual abuse as children at Children's Cottage Homes.
A 78-year-old woman from Devon was arrested on suspicion of indecent assault but when police passed the file to Crown Prosecution Service lawyers they decided there was not enough evidence to charge her.
Les Cummings went to police to ask them to look again at their earlier investigation into the claims of 21 men and women.
The Crown Prosecution Service examined allegations against the centre but decided not to prosecute.
Both Reg and Les claim that a number of children were taken from their dormitories during the night and disappeared.

"Two social workers and two police officers, one of whom was accused of abuse on four separate occasions and exonerated each time, another of whom has since been jailed in another part of the country for gross indecency with a child.
"More than a dozen other local men, including an executive with a local authority, a senior probation officer and a director of a major company."

6.Margaret Hodge (née Margaret Oppenheimer) was linked to the alleged cover up of a pedophile scandal. In 2003, Hodge was appointmented as Minister for Children by Tony Blair.
October 6 1992: The Evening Standard began a series of reports alleging that dozens of children at two Islington council homes were abused.
Hodge accused the Standard of "gutter journalism" and rejected its dossier on paedophile activity in the homes.
October 23 1992Margaret Hodge stepped down as council leader.
These were homes run by Frank Beck. At his trial in 1991, Beck was found guilty of 17 counts of physical and sexual abuse.
There was a Police Complaints Authority investigation into why so many of the complaints made to police by children had been ignored.
8. Quarriers Homes, Nazareth House and St Ninians in Scotland - An independent report for the Scottish government found that there has been massive child abuse in Scottish care homes. (Scotland’s shame )
"When she was nine - or thereabouts - she (Elizabeth McWilliams) was raped by the man Quarriers called her house father. 'He took his chance,' she said matter-of-factly.
"Some children complained of abuse. That had consequences. 'Boys,' she said. 'Well, they were hung up on door hangers and their penises tied to doorhandles.'"
Quarriers Homes is a Christian community.
Helen Holland was sent to Nazareth House in Kilmarnock, a children's home run by nuns.
At Nazareth House Helen was raped by a priest.
"When she was eight, a nun pulled a hood over her head to help a priest rape her. The sexual abuse went on for three years until, aged 11, she fell pregnant. The same nun kicked her in the stomach until she miscarried."
At St Ninians: "In 2003 Michael Murphy, 69, formerly known as Brother Benedict, a monk with the de la Salle order, was jailed for two years on ten charges of physical abuse during the 1960s, including torturing pupils with an electric shock device, force-feeding them vomit and whipping them with knotted boot laces."
9. Moira Anderson
11-year-old Moira Anderson was last seen boarding a bus in Coatbridge, near Glasgow, Scotland, in 1957.
She was on her way to the shops to buy a box of chocolates for her mum’s birthday.
This dossier may identify the people who kidnapped Moira.
The dossier is said to implicate senior public figures, including senior police officers and members of the Crown Office and former Scottish Office.
These public figures are said to have abused children in Strathclyde (the Glasgow area) during the 1950s and 1960s.
The dossier is said to list vehicles and safe houses used in Glasgow, Monklands and Paisley where children were hidden before being taken to sex parties.
Strathclyde police have decided not to release the dossier.
The dossier was written by James Gallogley, a convicted child-abuser who died in Peterhead prison in 1999.
"After having spent six months in solitary confinement, in a cell with unbrakeable glass, feeling extremely vulnerable without clothes, knowing that anyone could look through the magnified peephole on the door at any time, (and they did too! cos I could hear them and saw their shadows come and go), I learnt to comply.

Muhammad Azam, a Marriott security personal, told The Post that he was standing across the road when a big brown truck appeared. "I saw him (the truck driver) getting out of the truck, taking position and firing two rockets at the hotel." (Front & Back Page News Updates)
The explosion created a crater at least 25 ft deep and 30 ft wide, and totally destroyed the road in front of the building. (1000 kg explosives used in Pak blast) .
The aim of the blasts seems to have been to kill ordinary Pakistanis, so as to make Pakistanis and World Opinion sympathetic to America's war on terror.
The bombers may not have intended to destroy the hotel. But, reportedly, gas lines running to the hotel’s kitchen exploded and started a fire that damaged about two thirds of the hotel. 7. So, what about the people in Europe and elsewhere who claimed to be Jews?

This was in the huge Khazar kingdom between the Black and Caspian seas.

6. The Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni asserts that her Government will have no dealings with Hamas, because they are terrorists.

2. Sierra Leone and Liberia provided the opportunity for Al Qaeda (the CIA) to make money from diamonds.
Liberian President Charles Taylor (who reportedly had links to Israel and the CIA) was a friend of Ibrahim Bah, a Senegalese.
Taylor made Bah a general in the Revolutionary United Front (RUF), a group which, in 1991, began trying to take over Sierra Leone.
The RUF was infamous for cutting off kid's arms and legs.

Simon Rosenblum, an Israeli businessman, was a member of Taylor's inner circle.
Rosenblum's trucks were used to carry weapons from Liberia to the border with Sierra Leone.
Retired Israeli Defense Forces Colonel Yair Klein worked with Simon Rosenblum.
From 1996 until 1999, Klein provided material and training to the RUF (the people who cut off kid's arms and legs) as part of a diamonds-for-arms operation.
Also involved were two other Israelis, Dov Katz and Dan Gertler.
In 1999 Klein was arrested in Sierra Leone on charges of smuggling arms to the RUF.
Those transactions went through Bah, Taylor's friend.

4. In 2000, Leonid Minin, a Ukrainian-born Israeli member of the “Odessa Mafia,” was arrested in Italy.
In his briefcase were $500,000 worth of diamonds and correspondence detailing his sale to the Liberian government of millions of dollars worth of arms in exchange for diamonds and timber concessions.
Also found in Minin’s briefcase was that End-Use-Certificate for 113 tons of ammunition and arms that exactly matched the End-Use-Certificate reportedly found in the apartment of 'Hezbollah operative' Samih Ossailly.
5. Hezbollah has been involved in diamond trading in Sierra Leone, Liberia and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Two such Hezbollah diamond traders were, reportedly, Samih Ossailly and Aziz Nassour.
When al Qaeda (the CIA) became interested in diamond trading in this area, they approached Bah who put them in touch with Nassour.
6.Israel has long had ties to diamond trading in this part of Africa.
In 1983, Israel was contracted to train and equip Mobutu’s (Nazi-style) presidential guard in the Congo.
Shimon Yelnik, an Israeli army officer, was put in charge of the guard.
7. Yelnik met Aziz Nassour.
In 2000, Nassour apparently needed arms to help his diamond enterprises in Liberia and Sierra Leone.
Nassour contacted Yelnik, who had links to Columbian paramilitaries.
Faxes between Bah and Yelnik link to fraudulent End-Use Certificates.
8. There appear to be strong links between Israelis and organisations such as the RUF, Hezbollah and al Qaeda (the CIA).
Sierra Leone has links to 9 11.
Profits from diamonds in Sierra Leone were allegedly used by the CIA and its friends to help finance 9 11.

According to a 2 June 1999, article in The Virginian-Pilot, Charles Taylor had extensive business dealings with televangelist Pat Robertson. (Taylor and Pat Robertson )
According to the article, Taylor gave Robertson (who also had business dealings with dictator Mobutu Sese Seko of Zaire) the rights to mine for diamonds in Liberia's mineral-rich countryside.
According to two Operation Blessing pilots who reported this incident to the state of Virginia for investigation in 1994, Robertson used his Operation Blessing planes to haul diamond-mining equipment to Robertson's mines in Liberia, despite the fact that Robertson was telling his 700 Club viewers that the planes were sending relief supplies to the victims of the genocide in Rwanda.
The subsequent investigation by the state of Virginia concluded that Robertson diverted his ministry's donations to the Liberian diamond-mining operation

Alistair Burt, Conservative Party , described himself as a friend of Israel.
Jews used terrorism to drive the Palestinians out of their villages and into places like Gaza. Israelis have been killing Palestinian children since at least 1948.
George Galloway referred to the MPs who have talked about visiting Siderot in Israel.
