1. He has suggested on television that 9 11 was probably the work of people within the security services (YouTube - David Shayler speaks on 911)

2. Then he has revealed himself as 'the Messiah', so that the public will be disinclined to believe his comments about 9 11.

We can expect lots of spooky people on the internet to be telling us in future that if we believe 9 11 was an inside job, then we are like David Icke or David Shayler!

The winter 1999 issue of Lobster magazine (#38) reviewed David Shayler's book about MI5.

Gary McKinnon, a British computer nerd, hacked into dozens of US military computers.

He demonstrated that their security systems were 'crap'.

The US government, the government alleged to be behind most acts of terrorism such as the Lockerbie Bombing and 9 11, insists that McKinnon be extradited to the USA.

The UK House of Lords turned down McKinnon's appeal.

On 28 August 2008, McKinnon lost his appeal to the European court of human rights.

3. If extradited, McKinnon faces up to 70 years in prison.

He could be given 'enemy combatant' status, like the 'innocents' at Guantánamo Bay.

If the US government was behind the Lockerbie Bombing and 9 11, then some might argue that we should be grateful to people hacking into Pentagon computers.

It seems though that Gary McKinnon was looking for aliens rather than evidence of alleged Pentagon crimes.

THE FT - FINANCIAL TIMES OR FASCIST TIMES?

James Petras, at Axis of Logic, 26 August 2008, wrote "The Financial Times and the "Self-Confessed Mastermind of 9/11" �

Petras refers to a "new wave of imperial aggression and bellicose rhetoric" that" is meant to deflect domestic discontent and distract public opinion from the deepening economic crises."

Petras points to an article on 9 11 at the The Financial Times (FT) (The face of 9/11 - 16 August 2008) and suggests that the FT "has yielded to the totalitarian-militarist temptation."

The face of 9/11, written by Demetri Sevastopulo, "embraces the forced confession of a 9/11 suspect elicited through 5 years of hideous torture in the confines of secret prisons."

The face of 9 11 is Khaled Sheikh Mohammed.

(It is not clear if the 'Khaled Sheikh Mohammed' held by the CIA is the real Khaled Sheikh Mohammed.)

Petras sees the FT as "being a propaganda vehicle for a CIA program to discredit the suspect while he stands trial based on confessions obtained through torture."

Petras notes that "from beginning to end, the article categorically states that the principle defendant, Khaled Sheikh Mohammed, is the 'self-confessed mastermind of the September 11 attacks on the US.'"

The FT’s principle source of information is an anonymous informant "familiar with the CIA interrogation program."

According to Petras, the CIA’s only real evidence was extracted by torture.

Khaled repeatedly denied the accusations and that he only confessed after 5 years of torture.

Petras reminds us that confessions extracted from torture have no validity in any court.

Petras, quite rightly, states that "the FT’s embrace of the CIA and military’s coerced evidence and therefore their use of torture, puts them squarely in the camp of the totalitarian state."



Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, the so-called mastermind of 9-11, is believed to have attended college in North Carolina.

The real Shaikh Mohammed is considered by many analysts to be an agent of the Pakistan intelligence service ISI, which is generally considered to be controlled by the CIA.

US counter-terrorism officials claim Shaikh Mohammed was in Germany before the 9 11 attacks, liaising with Mohamed Atta. A secretive U.S. eavesdropping agency monitored telephone conversations. There was already a $2 million reward for Mohammed in 1998. In 2000, the CIA monitered his presence at an al Qaeda meeting, yet they didn't arrest him. In Thailand, as in Bolivia and most other parts of the world, the wealthy elite sometimes use terror to keep themselves in power.

The CIA tends to support the wealthy elites.

In September 2006, the popular Thai prime minister, Mr Thaksin, was toppled in a military coup that was probably organised by the CIA.

Thaksin may have annoyed the CIA by (1) removing Thai troops from Iraq (2) following a policy of helping the poor.

The CIA has a history of getting involved in Thai and Asian politics.

In 1946 Ananda was found shot in his bedroom in the Grand Palace.

This ensured that teenage Bhumibol became king. And it ensured that pro-American Field Marshal Pibul became the power behind the throne.

Bhumibol had once said of his brother's murder, "It was not an accident...it was political."

In the Oriental Hotel I got talking to a retired Thai gentleman called Yong. I asked him how things were going in Bangkok.

"There is a power struggle going on within the army," said Yong. "On one side we have the reformers who want to end the army's links to drugs and karaoke bars. They want to purge the army of mafia colonels. And on the other side we have the conservatives who want to continue to do deals with the Burmese junta and the drugs barons."

Let's look at some of the contents of the the Guardian website on the morning of 26 August 2008.

1. The lead story on the Guardian website is Britain's secret propaganda war against al-Qaida.

The writer, Alan Travis, tells us about a UK government unit called the Research, Information and Communication unit, or RICU.

Reportedly RICU is supplying propaganda to the BBC and other parts of the media.

This sounds like good, radical stuff.

But wait.

Reportedly, this RICU has the job of criticising al Qaeda and trying to make it look bad.

According to The Guardian, a RICU dossier says that al-Qaida has been definitively expelled from large areas of Iraq and has lost ground in Afghanistan.

Now, what is missing from this Guardian news story?

We are not told that al Qaeda has been linked to the CIA and its friends.

We are not told that, reportedly, the CIA has used al Qaeda to carry out its dirty work.

We are not told that the forces opposing the US troops in Iraq and Afghanistan are mainly freedom-fighters; they are not al Qaeda.

So, the purpose of this Guardian story might appear to be disinformation.


2. Another lead story is entitled: Russian vote sets up clash with west

You may remember that Russia has allowed a large number of countries, such as Austria, Finland and the Czech Republic, to become independent.

Now Russian MPs have voted unanimously to back independence for Georgia's two breakaway republics of Abkhazia and South Ossetia.

3. The Guardian website gives prominence to a right-wing feature article by Tim Montgomerie entitled 'The kind of cop we need.'

Montgomerie writes:

"During the Clinton years very little was done to combat the spread of militant Islam. Al-Qaida's planning for the 9/11 attacks ... began when the ever so reasonable Clinton was still in office.

"1. The forensic scientist who claimed to be the first to find the famous bomb fragment was, a year after finding it, revealed by a Parliamentary investigation by Sir John May to be a co-conspirator with two colleagues in the with-holding of evidence in the trial of the alleged IRA Maguire Seven.

"The Maguires were released on appeal.

"This aspect was under-investigated by the Lockerbie trial defence, and ignored by the judges in the Lockerbie judgment.

The career of the American agent in overall charge of the investigation includes several years involvement with the murderous Nicaraguan campaign, working alongside Colonel Oliver North in the Iran-Contra affair of the mid-eighties, and the covert arming of the Afghanistan Mujahadeen in the late eighties.

"The man was not called to give evidence at the Lockerbie trial.

Timer device

Two years after the Lockerbie bomb, investigators allegedly found a fragment of a timer device.

It has been alleged that the evidence concerning the timer fragment was fabricated by the CIA and its friends in order to implicate Libya in the bombing.

In the summer of 2007, a report from Darik Radio DARIK News revealed a confession:

"Ulrich Lumpert, a Swiss electronic engineer and former employee at the Zurich-based MEBO Ltd Telecommunication, has admitted that he stole from the company a hand manufactured MST-13 Timer PC-Board that was later used as evidence against the defendant, Libyan agent Abdel Basset al-Megrahi.

On 19 February 2006, The Mail on Sunday reported that new forensic tests have been carried out by the lawyers representing Al Megrahi, the Libyan jailed in connection with the Lockerbie bombing.

Defence experts simulated the Lockerbie explosion. The results showed that the device which detonated the bomb could not have survived the explosion.

According to The Mail on Sunday: "Sources close to Megrahi's lawyers said the new tests pointed to the evidence having been planted at the scene of the crash...

"The source added that Megrahi's legal team claimed they had obtained 'clear proof' that investigators had 'planted and manipulated' evidence...

"He said... if there is any justice in Scotland... certain Scottish police officers will be jailed for their part in the proceedings...

"Megrahi's lawyers already have a sworn statement from a retired Scottish police officer confirming that evidence had been planted to secure the Libyan's conviction.

"A similar claim was made by a former CIA agent...

"The ex-CIA man (claimed) that the fragment of circuit board had been planted under orders from a very high level in the organisation...

"The fragment was found by two policeman during a search of a wood near Newcastleton, 35 miles from Lockerbie.

"It was later identified by the CIA's Thomas Thurman as being part of a sophisticated timer device made by the Swiss firm of Mebo.

"Thurman was later unmasked as a fraud who had given false evidence in American murder trials..."

Who were the people involved in the Lockerbie investigation and trial?

John Orr, joint head of CID in Strathclyde police, was the chief investigating officer in the Lockerbie case. Sir John Orr got promoted to Chief Constable of Strathclyde Police (1995 to 2001). (The Herald : News: OTHER NEWS)

'The Golfer' is the former Scottish police chief who has given lawyers a signed statement claiming that key evidence in the Lockerbie bombing trial was fabricated. 'The retired officer - of assistant chief constable rank or higher - has testified that the CIA planted the tiny fragment of circuit board crucial in convicting a Libyan for the 1989 mass murder of 270 people.' Two state prosecutors from the US Department of Justice played an important role in the Lockerbie trial. The United Nations observer at the Lockerbie trial, Dr Hans Kochler, reported that two state prosecutors from the US Department of Justice were in court, and, although not listed in any of the official documents about the Court's officers, they were constantly briefing Scottish prosecutors. Lord Fraser was the lord advocate (1989-92) who initiated the case against Megrahi. On 20 December 2006 Lord Fraser was detained by police after they were called to Dundee Airport following reports of a disturbance on board an aircraft. Lord Fraser was charged with disorderly conduct. It was announced on 2 February 2007 that the Crown Office had dropped these charges due to insufficient evidence that an offence had been committed.

Lord Hardie, as Lord Advocate 1997-2000, was due to lead the prosecution team in the Lockerbie trial. Lord Hardie resigned just before the Lockerbie trial began. There were rumours that there was a lack of evidence to convict the Libyans.

Colin Boyd was Lord Hardie's successor as Lord Advocate. He became Lord Boyd of Duncansby.

Norman McFadyen, then regional procurator-fiscal for Edinburgh, headed the Crown Office trial team at Camp Zeist in the Netherlands. He got promoted to Crown Agent, head of department for the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service.

Alan Turnbull, QC, was one of the two senior counsel leading the Crown team in the Lockerbie trial. In 2006, he became Scotland's youngest judge at the age of 47.

Advocate-depute Alastair Campbell, QC, was senior prosecution counsel in the Lockerbie trial. In 2003, he was appointed a judge and became Lord Bracadale.

Bill Taylor, QC, was defence counsel for Megrahi at Camp Zeist. He has been heavily criticised for failing to defend Megrahi successfully. ( We have removed an error here pointed out to us by The Lockerbie Case )

Alistair Duff was the defence lawyer for Megrahi.

Professor Hans Koechler, the United Nations' observer at the Lockerbie trial and appeal, has accused Mr Taylor and Mr Duff of betraying Megrahi by failing to represent him properly.

Eddie MacKechnie was solicitor to Fhimah who was acquitted.

Tony Gauci was the key crown witness and owner of the Maltese shop where Megrahi was said to have bought the clothing reportedly placed around the bomb. At the trial, Tony Gauci was uncertain about the date he sold the clothes in question, and was not sure that it was Megrahi to whom they were sold. Gauci gave two earlier statements in which he identified convicted Egyptian terrorist Abu Talb as the person who bought clothing. Gauci gave earlier statements saying he did not sell a shirt to the man but six months later remembered selling shirts and the man. Two of Gauci's statements are missing. A babygro said to have been wrapped around the bomb and shown to the court blown to pieces was recovered intact, according to a statement from the woman who found it. Five years after the trial, Lord Fraser allegedly described Gauci as a “simple” man who might have been “easily led”. Lord Fraser was the lord advocate (1989-92) who initiated the case against Megrahi.

The Strathclyde police reportedly arranged for Gauci to go fishing, hillwalking and birdwatching in the Scottish Highlands. The Mail on Sunday newspaper said Gauci had been recorded on tape talking about five or six visits he had made to Scotland since 1988. J Thomas Thurman was the FBI man who identified a fragment of a circuit board from a timing device which, he said, was from the Lockerbie bomb. Thurman was later removed from his FBI job after a US Department of Justice investigation concluded his FBI forensics lab had a record of fabricating evidence.

Edwin Bollier is head of the Swiss-based Mebo group which was supposed to have sold the timing device reportedly used in the Lockerbie bomb. Bollier claims that one of his employees supplied the Scottish police with a stolen timing device, which was then presented in the trial as having been found amidst the plane's wreckage.

Ulrich Lumpert is the Mebo employee who reportedly has now admitted that the device he handed over to Scottish investigators was one he himself had stolen from the company, rather than part of a batch delivered to Libya in the 1980s.

Lord Sutherland was the presiding judge at Camp Zeist.

The other two judges were Lord Coulsfield and Lord MacLean.

Lord Cullen was head of the five-judge panel which presided over the appeal of Megrahi at Camp Zeist in 2002. The other four judges were: Lord Kirkwood, Lord Osborne, Lord Macfadyen, and Lord Nimmo Smith.

US forces are training the Algerian military.

Washington wants to provide Algiers with pilot-less drone planes.

Jonathan Steele in The Guardian, 22 August 2008, reports that there is No deal yet to keep US troops in Iraq till 2011.

Condoleeza Rice has admitted that American negotiators have not yet got Iraqi officials to agree to keep US troops well into the next president's first term.

The US government seeks an agreement to replace the UN mandate covering the US-led occupation.

Bush wants a pact to authorise a troop presence at least until 2011.

Iraq prime minister, Nouri al-Maliki, is insisting on:

1. a clear timetable for withdrawal,

2. the lifting of judicial immunity for US troops who commit abuses,

3. a veto on US military operations, including the arrest of Iraqis.

Rumsfeld with Saddam, who was reportedly trained and put into power by the CIA.

According to Jonathan steele, the pact has been downgraded into a "memorandum of understanding."

This avoids the need for the US Senate to approve it.

The Iraq parliament has to approve any pact.

The Iraqi officials want a withdrawal of US combat troops from Iraqi cities by the end of June, and for all troops to leave a year or so later.

Rice, and John McCain, wants only only "aspirational timetables."

Barack Obama has pledged to pull all combat troops out of Iraq by June 2010.

Are kids getting more disturbed and violent?

In the 1940s, Brigadier Gen. S.L.A. Marshall claimed that only 15-20% of America's World War II soldiers would use their weapons in battle.

"Those (80-85%) who did not fire did not run or hide (in many cases they were willing to risk great danger to rescue comrades, get ammunition, or run messages), but they simply would not fire their weapons at the enemy, even when faced with repeated waves of banzai charges” (On Killing, by Lt. According to Marshall: the American comes "from a civilization in which aggression, connected with the taking of life, is prohibited and unacceptable….

Marshall’s research, and later research, showed that in wars most soldiers are a waste of time, so far as the psychopathic generals and politicians are concerned.

Roger Lewis, in his biography Anthony Burgess (Chapter 5), refers to his meeting with a British spy; this spook tells Lewis about the links between A Clockwork Orange and mind control experiments in the USA.

Roger Lewis suggests that Burgess was himself a spy, possibly in the pay of the CIA.

It has been suggested that Hollywood has long been used by the CIA in connection with the brainwashing of the public.

The Dark Knight appears to be a piece of brainwashing, perhaps designed to toughen up our youth in preparation for future wars.

p.16- “Floor-to-ceiling mirrors were everywhere. Even the dining alcove at the rear of the living room had a table with a mirrored top. All these mirrors didn ‘t cheer things up.”

In programming Monarch slaves, mirrors are used a great deal.

p.25-- "Marilyn ‘s bedroom was definitely not a queen ‘s chamber..."

There were no paintings in the cramped, square room, only mirrors. Marilyn’s controllers kept her down. Even when she was famous and great, she lived like a slave. She was not allowed to have any self-esteem beyond what she was programmed for.

p.29 -- "May was finally able to call for the chauffeur to take Marilyn away."

Marilyn was a captive, she didn’t go anywhere on her own, she always had someone drive her.

p.32-- “First of all, Marilyn’s life was incredibly monotonous for her. Her doctor ‘s appointments (I later learned these were appointments with psychiatrists) and her acting lessons were virtually all she had to look forward to. She spent most of her time in her little bedroom..."

Marilyn went out of the house to be either programmed or groomed. Other than that she stayed cooped up in her room. Does the reader begin to see that the woman was a slave with no life of her own?

p.33-- “She [Marilyn] didn ‘t even own a television, never listened to the radio.”

They stripped Marilyn of any contact with the outside world to insure that their mind control would work. They were afraid that something might go wrong with the first Presidential slave that was allowed to be highly visible to the public....

p.41-- [Marilyn says], “Shit. My life is shit, “she wept. “I can’t go anywhere. I’m a prisoner in this house"

Marilyn is only telling the truth.

· p.43-- “Because Marilyn had no real friends, she concentrated on herself”

The closest friend Marilyn had is saying that Marilyn Monroe had no real friends. Doesn’t that strike someone as strange? Marilyn didn’t have any real friends. Almost the only ones in her life were her abusers, and they worked hard to strip her of any personal goals or esteem.

p.70-- “You can go anywhere,” I [Lena] assured her. “Anywhere in the world” “Who with? she asked sadly. “Who with? By myself” "Mr. Miller, your friends...” “What friends? I ain‘t got nobody.”

Many times during the programming, the programmers separate the victim from anyone who could be a support person, they are isolated from having friends and relatives unless the relatives are in the occult.

p. 71 --Marilyn repeatedly calls herself a prostitute. She says, “They laugh at me. What am I . . . nothing... a prostitute.”

Further on the page Marilyn tells Lena that no one has cared about her for her entire life, including her mother....

p.77-- "Don’t take my baby. So they took my baby from me... and I never saw it again."

After Marilyn had a healthy baby it was taken away from her and she was never allowed to see it. It was very likely sacrificed. Marilyn was too afraid to ask what they were going to do with it.

p.100-- Marilyn loses her baby at the same place that some of her programming was done at. One can speculate that they took the baby for some perverted use....

p.134 -- “The operation took place at Polyclinic Hospital where Marilyn had lost her baby the year before... [Marilyn said]”Going back to that hospital’s a nightmare... .Pain? What‘s pain?”

For her, the only pain was in not having her own child. Notice she always goes back to the Polyclinic Hospital. Monarch victims have had to endure vast amounts of horrible torture. They learn to survive by disassociation. When Marilyn says “What is pain?” she is being accurate in reflecting her response to pain. She could not have pain--because she would disassociate it. Certain alters are created to take the pain, and the other alters don’t have to experience it.

p.135-- “I found Marilyn in a small room without any view. It was very depressing, especially since there were no flowers or any other signs that Marilyn had friends who were thinking of her.”

Imagine a great actor like Marilyn is given a room without a view and no flowers or anything to cheer her up.

p.137-- “Marilyn’s now almost daily visits to the psychiatrists ..” .

She was closely monitored.

p.193-- Marilyn’s half-sister tries to come into Marilyn’s life.

Marilyn says, “I have a right to have a family.” And on the next page, “Gee, you’re really my sister. My sister... At least you lived with relatives.”

Marilyn’s masters did not want her to have any family. They often strip the deeper alters of a Monarch slave from any ties to any non-cult person....

p.199--Marilyn orders a $3,000 Emerald green dress to be made. Emerald green is often the most favorite color of Monarch slaves because of their Wizard of Oz programming which is usually the foundational programming.

p.202-- “Frank... clipped two gorgeous emerald earrings on Marilyn ‘s ears.”

Again we see that emerald green is often used by Monarch slaves.

p. 205-- “Aside from her evenings with Frank [Sinatra], Marilyn’s life in California seemed identical to her life in New York. She didn‘t read, didn‘t watch television, didn’t go anywhere. Although the sun was always shining, Marilyn was as pale as ever. She didn’t like to go outside during the day.”

They refuse to see the continuing murders of millions of people around the world in what amounts to an American holocaust.

They refuse to see the evidence that the psychopaths’ guilds running America’s most powerful institutions use the most horrific forms of sexualized abuse imaginable to induce multiple-personality-disorder in child victims, then use the resulting mind-control slaves as disposable drug-runners, prostitutes, Manchurian candidates, and even diplomatic envoys.

And of course they refuse to see that 9/11 was a transparently obvious inside job, and that their own psychopath-dominated military-intelligence apparatus is behind almost every major terrorist outrage of recent decades.

All of this psychopathic behaviour at the top of the social hierarchy is simply too shameful for ordinary people to see, so they avert their gaze, just as wives of husbands who are sexually abusing their children sometimes refuse to see what is happening in plain view...

The UK high court has ruled that the British security services helped in the unlawful detention and the interrogation of a UK resident Binyan Mohamed detained in Pakistan six years ago.

The court ordered the foreign secretary to hand over information that could support Binyan's case that he was tortured in Pakistan and Morocco before being sent to Guantánamo Bay.

Lord Justice Thomas and Mr Justice Lloyd Jones found that the British security service "facilitated interviews by or on behalf of the United States incommunicado and without access to a lawyer in Pakistan" in 2002. American trained General Prabowo is said to be a friend of the CIA.

Domingos Guterres, from East Timor, alleges that in 1989 he was tortured for 35 days by soldiers under General Prabowo's command. Guterres claims General Prabowo personally carried out acts of torture.

In the 1983 Kraras massacres in East Timor, about 300 people are believed to have been buried in mass graves after a series of executions that the locals say were carried out under General Prabowo. ( Torture evidence mounts against Indonesian general )

On 19 August 2008, a bomb attack east of Algiers killed 43 people (Algeria bomb attack kills 43) and al Qaeda (the CIA) has been blamed.

The USA and Russia are competing to get control of North Africa's oil and gas.

The Globe and Mail, 18 August 2008, reported (Russia crushes Europe's energy strategy):

"Thanks to Russia's invasion of Georgia on Aug. 8, Georgia's role as a secure energy transit point to Europe has been shattered...

What was the reaction of students at the Ben Aknoun campus?

Students, while taking part in a protest at the University, made it clear that they are very well informed about what is really going on!

'They should stop babbling on about Al-Qaeda and the GSPC,' said a certain Sara...

She added: 'They (i.e. those who accuse Al-Qaeda and the GSPC) shouldn't be laying this on Islam...'

The newspapers and 'extremist Islamic' websites available to students in Algeria are most likely controlled by the CIA and its friends in French and Israeli intelligence.

So it is good news that these Algerian students have not been taken in by the lies and propaganda of the CIA controlled media.

In March 2006, Russia and Algeria signed military equipment contracts worth around $8 billion. This was after Putin had visited Algeria.

In August 2006, the state gas companies of Algeria and Russia signed a cooperation pact.

In 2006, Algeria supported Russia’s suggestion of creating a ‘natural gas OPEC’.

However, on 10 December 2006, the terror began. A bus carrying foreign oil workers was bombed 10 km (6 miles) west of Algiers, killing the Algerian driver and a Lebanese worker.

On 4 March 2007, a Russian was killed in a roadside attack southwest of Algiers on a bus carrying workers for a Russian gas pipeline construction company.

The Algerian oil and gas company then declared that it was stopping cooperation with Russia's Gazprom.

And, Algeria suspended weapons supplies from Russia.

Ruslan Pukhov, director of the Strategy and Technology Analysis Center, believes “there is a confrontation of interests between military and energy officials” in Algeria’s political elite.

“In both groups, there are pro-Russia, pro-France, and pro-American groupings which fight for their partners’ interests. At least six ‘clans’ confront each other, winning in turns,” the expert said. (One-Sided Cooperation)

Why so successful?

She wrote like a ten year-old.

Ask an average ten year-old to write an adventure story and it might read something like this:

"Four children go to stay in an old house at the coast. They make tree houses. They ride bikes and have picnics and go swimming. They find some dark caves with secret passages. They take a boat out to a mysterious island. They are captured by smugglers. Without any help from adults, they escape from their incompetent and silly captors and tell their story to the grateful police."

The vocabulary is simple. The story is simple. The prose is child-like. There are no boring descriptions of people or scenery, but there are some details of things like tree houses and picnics and caves.



Blyton has been accused by the horrid PC world of being racist, sexist and snobbish. But, note well that Blyton's books do not encourage kids to overdose on heroin or commit gang rape. They encourage kids to enjoy being kids, and they encourage kids to read. Both adults and children can enjoy the books.

Let's take THE ISLAND OF ADVENTURE as an example.

Chapter 1 The Beginning of Things.

A young boy called Philip normally lives with his impatient Aunt, his non-child-loving Uncle, his sister Dinah, and a "stupid" black servant, at a house on the coast called Craggy Tops. But during the summer holidays Philip, is getting extra tuition at the home of one of his teachers, a Mr Roy. While staying with Mr Roy, Philip makes friends with a boy called Jack and his sister Lucy-Ann. Jack and Lucy-Ann are looked after by an uncle. Note that the children do not have straighforward family backgrounds. Blyton's parents were divorced, and she herself got divorced.

Chapter 2. Making Friends.

As there were only four boys to coach, Mr Roy gives them each individual attention. Philip tells Lucy-Anne that Craggy Tops is "wild" and "queer". Philip takes a hedgehog out of his pocket. "It was a baby one, whose prickles were not yet hardened. Observe that the Blyton world was a world free of child abusers and serial killers. Instead it was a world of harmless teachers and hedgehogs in pockets. Did you know that hedgehogs are bisexual?



Chapter 3. Two Letters and a Plan.

"Uncle doesn't want us back," says Jack. Philip decides that Jack and Lucy-Ann should escape with them to Craggy Tops. As you can see, the children do some pretty risky things, but nothing cruel and nasty.

Chapter 4. Craggy Tops.

The children arrive at Craggy Tops. "It was a queer place." There has still been no violence!

Chapter 5. Settling in at Craggy Tops.

"Lucy-Ann wished she was sleeping nearer to Jack." Isn't she sweet and innocent.

Chapter 6. The Days Go By.

"It was a queer place to sleep for the first time at Craggy tops." Jack shares a mattress with Philip. "Jack soon got warm, cuddled up against Philip's back." Blyton has suspected paedophile tendencies?

Chapter 7. A Queer Discovery.

The children explore the damp dark caves, some of which have "queer holes in their roofs." Dinah pushed Philip. "She had certainly meant to give philip a hard blow." Philip falls into a hole. What would Freud think?

Chapter 8 . In the Cellars.

A secret passage is discovered.



Chapter 9. A Strange Boat.

Philip - "Even when he was wearing bathing-drawers he seemed able to secrete some kind of creature about his body. Yesterday it had been a couple of friendly crabs. But when he had accidentally sat down on one, and it had nipped him....." Is this why kids love Blyton?

Chapter 10. Night Adventure.

The black servant is involved in some dark doings.

Chapter 11. Bill Smuggs.

The four children visit a cove. "The children slipped off their jerseys and shorts and went into the water to bathe." They spy a boat. "What a queer place to keep a boat, " says Philip. Is the pace too fast? Are you embarrased by the strip-tease?

I won't describe all 29 chapters, as I'm sure you've got the idea.

Blyton is gentle innocent fun for both adults and children.

After Somoza quit Nicaragua, the USA began supporting the Contras.

The CIA in Nicaragua from Wake Up :

In 1936 the dictator Anastasio Somoza took over the presidency of Nicaragua, and with the help of his brutal National Guards, he established a family dynasty that ruled over the country like a fiefdom for the next 43 years.

The National Guards, consistently maintained by the United States, were responsible for rape, torture, murder of Somoza's political opponents, the massacre of thousands of peasants, robbery, extortion, and drug smuggling, while the Somozan clan helped themselves to Nicaragua's land and businesses.

However on July 19th 1979, a popular uprising by the revolutionary Sandinista Party (FSLN) overthrew Somoza, who fled into exile.

Somoza left behind a country with widespread poverty and illiteracy. Two-thirds of the country's population earned less than $300 a year, while Somoza's personal wealth was placed by a U.S. intelligence report at $900 million.

The Sandinistas set about reversing Somoza's devastation of the country and began a programme of land reform, social justice, and redistribution of wealth and income.

Just as in Chile however, this was seen as totally unacceptable by the United States.

President Carter signed a top secret finding authorising the CIA to provide political support to opponents of the Sandinistas.

The CIA ran anti-government propaganda in the Nicaraguan newspaper La Prensa, while pirate radio stations operating from Honduras and Costa Rica attacked the Sandinistas as "Marxist" and "atheists" bent on suppressing religion in the overwhelmingly Catholic country.

Paramilitary bands, aided by the CIA front organisation American Institute for Free Labor Development (AIFLD), began armed attacks in the north, singling out volunteers in the health and literacy programmes to murder.

In January 1981 Ronald Reagan took office under a Republican platform which asserted that "it deplores the Marxist Sandinista take-over of Nicaragua" and he greatly expanded the CIA's guerrilla warfare and sabotage campaigns.

In November 1981 Reagan authorised a covert plan for $19 million to help the Argentina dictatorship train a guerrilla force operating from camps in Honduras to attack Nicaragua.

Former members of Somoza's National Guards (who had fled to Honduras when the Somozan regime was toppled) and other war criminals formed the basis of this force, which became known as the Contras.

By the autumn of 1983, 12,000 to 16,000 Contra troops of the so-called FDN (Nicaraguan Democratic Force) were operating along the Honduran border. Smaller Contra forces operated from bases in Costa Rica. They staged hit and run raids against rural towns and co-operatives in Nicaragua, before returning to their bases across the border.

The CIA had no illusions about the contras' ability to overthrow the FSLN; in two years of operations, they failed to take and hold even a small village. The aim of the Contras was to use terrorist tactics to stop Nicaraguan development projects in all areas: economic, education, health services and political organisations.

The Contras blew up bridges, civilian power plants and schools, they burned fields of crops and attacked hospitals. Their tactics included rape, kidnappings of peasants and civilians, ambushes and massacres against small rural communities, farms, co-operatives, schools and health clinics.

Contra raids caused extensive damage to crop fields, grain silos, irrigation projects, farm houses and machinery. Numerous state farms and co-operatives were incapacitated; other farms still intact were abandoned because of the danger.

Witness For Peace, an American Protestant watchdog body, collected a list of Contra atrocities in one year, which included murder, the rape of two girls in their homes, torture of men, maiming of children, cutting off arms, cutting out tongues, gouging out eyes, castration, bayoneting pregnant women in the stomach, amputating the genitals of people of both sexes, gouging out eyes, scraping the skin off the face, pouring acid on the face, breaking the toes and fingers of an 18 year old boy, and summary executions.

These were the people Ronald Reagan called "freedom fighters" and "the moral equal of our founding fathers."

One survivor of a Contra raid in Jinotega province, which borders Honduras, reported: "Rosa had her breasts cut off. Then they cut into her chest and took out her heart. The men had their arms broken, their testicles cut off and their eyes poked out. They were killed by slitting their throats and pulling the tongue out through the slit." The human rights organisation Americas watch, concluded that "the Contras systematically engage in violent abuses…. so prevalent that these may be said to be their principle means of waging war."

There was also a CIA plan to split Nicaragua in half, east and west, with the Contras taking the east side and the Sandinistas left with the capital Managua and the west side.

Horrified at this picture of outright war, the Senate Committee introduced the Boland Amendment, prohibiting the use of tactics "for the purpose of overthrowing the Government of Nicaragua." However, in defiance of this, the CIA's Contra operations continued. By 1983 the Agency's support for the Contras had risen to $24 million.

The Reagan administration imposed a total trade embargo on Nicaragua, together with additional economic sanctions. This was designed to force the Sandinistas to divert resources from development projects to defence, and to disrupt their economy to such an extent that the government could not deliver its promises of a better life for the poor, and thus be discredited. Washington hoped that the people would eventually tire of the war and turn against the FSLN.

Nicaragua was excluded from US programmes which promoted American investment and trade, sugar imports from Nicaragua were slashed by 90% and Washington pressured the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank and the European Common Market to withhold loans to Nicaragua.

Another strategy of Reagan's was to force the FSLN to take action against the increasingly anti-Sandinistan sentiments of Agency-backed right-wing papers such as La Prensa, CIA-sponsored trade unions and right-wing sectors of the Catholic Church; each restriction would then be used in the international propaganda campaign to "prove" that the Nicaraguan government was becoming every more "totalitarian".

Cardinal Miguel Obando and the Catholic Church in Nicaragua received hundreds of thousands of dollars in covert aid from the CIA until 1985 (and then, after official U.S. aid was stopped by Congressional oversight committees, from Oliver North's covert money laundering operations). One use that Obando put the money was "religious instruction to thwart the Marxist-Leninist policies of the Sandinistas."

In September 1983 a Contra bombing raid on a civilian airport narrowly missed killing two U.S. Senators on a fact-finding mission to Nicaragua. The contents of a briefcase recovered from the wreckage were recognised by the senators as an authentic CIA contract for the operation. The pilot had the name and phone number of a CIA operator from the U S. embassy in Costa Rica in his pocket. On October 11th 1983, CIA-trained speedboat teams conducted a pre-dawn raid against the Nicaraguan fuel storage depots at the port of Corinto; five storage tanks were blown up.

Three days later, another major Nicaraguan offshore petroleum unloading facility, Puerto Sandino, was struck. A pipeline inside Nicaragua was sabotaged and U.S. corporations such as Exxon informed the Nicaraguan government that they would no longer supply tankers for crude oil transportation to Nicaragua from Mexico, the country's leading supplier; at this point, Nicaragua had a ten-day supply of oil.

Press reports revealed that the sabotage teams, known in the CIA as UCLAs (Unilaterally Controlled Latin Assets) operated under direct CIA-supervision, carrying out operations for which the FDN Contras would later claim credit.

The next stage was the mining of Nicaragua's harbours in 1984. The CIA directly carried out the placing of underwater 300 lb. mines of C4 explosive in three harbours; several ships were hit (including British and French vessels) and seamen and fishermen were wounded and killed. Nicaragua's fishing industry was devastated by mines and attacks, as well as from lack of fuel for its boats and spare parts due to the U.S. blockade. The country lost millions of dollars from reduced shrimp exports.

In April 1984 the CIA's role in the mining of Nicaragua's harbours was publicly disclosed and Congress refused to authorise another $21 million for the Contras. The World Court declared the American mining illegal but the U.S. government chose to flout the law and continued the mining.

The government of Saudi Arabia secretly arranged with the CIA to fund the Contras at the rate of $1 million a month. This money was laundered via a bank account in the Cayman Islands (under the name of Lt. Colonel Oliver North) to a Swiss Bank account, and thence to the Contras.

Israel, South Korea and Taiwan also supplied money via the CIA to the Contras, as well as right wing private organisations and individuals such as My Ling Sun Moon, Korean leader of the Unification Church.

By the mid-1980s, Reagan's dirty war against Nicaragua had caused 14,000 casualties. Apart from soldiers and civilian militia defending the government, those injured by the Contra attacks included teachers, health workers, local government officials, technicians, school-children, church workers, peasants and other innocent civilians. The number of children and adolescents killed exceeded 3,000 and more than 6,000 children had been turned into war orphans.

The Nicaraguan government announced in November 1984 that since 1981 the Contras had assassinated 910 state officials.

In just over four years, the CIA-backed mercenaries had attacked nearly 100 civilian communities and caused the displacement of over 150,000 people from their homes and farms. Bridges, port facilities, granaries, water and oil deposits, electrical power stations, telephone lines, saw mills, health centres, schools and dams were all destroyed or damaged.

In October 1984 the Associated Press disclosed a 90 page guerrilla-warfare training manual called "Psychological Operations in Guerrilla Warfare", which was authenticated by the House Intelligence Committee as a CIA-produced manual for the Contras.

The manual gave advice on political assassinations, blackmailing, mob violence, kidnappings and blowing up public buildings. It advised the use of "shock troops" in anti-government demonstrations "armed with clubs, iron rods and placards, and if possible, small firearms, which they shall carry hidden", together with "knives, razors, chains, clubs and bludgeons".

Under the heading "Selective Use of Violence", the manual advised the Contras to "neutralise carefully selected and planned targets such as court judges, police or state security officials, etc."

The manual also urged the Contras to "kidnap all officials or agents of the Sandinista government." The manual called for "implicit terror" and stated: "If possible, professional criminals will be hired to carry out selective jobs".

In Congress, the question was raised to Reagan, "Is this not, in effect, our own state-sponsored terrorism?" CIA chief William Casey wrote a personal letter to each member of the House and Senate intelligence committees, stating that the manual was intended to moderate behaviour.

Meanwhile, it was confirmed to congressional intelligence committees by the CIA and other witnesses that the Contras indeed "raped, tortured and killed unarmed civilians, including children" and that "groups of civilians, including women and children, were burned, dismembered, blinded and beheaded".

After Congress again cut funding of the Contras, the Saudis doubled their secret contributions to $2 million a month.

Oliver North informed Casey that American hostages held in Beirut "can be bribed free for $1 million apiece"; a down-payment of $200,000 was made to North's contacts in Iran, followed by two shipments of U.S. TOW missiles to Iran.

North wrote that $12 million of the $15 million expected to be paid by Iran for the arms could be "set aside for the Contras". When news of the arms-for-hostages scandal became public, Reagan went on TV to announce: "We did not – repeat did not – trade weapons or anything else for hostages. Nor will we."

But the war against Nicaragua continued. Reagan circumvented the ban on military aid to the Contras by authorising "intelligence advice" of $13 million and "humanitarian aid" of $27 million to them, and in October 1986 Congress authorised another $100 million of aid for the Contras.

The United States's devastation of the frail Nicaraguan economy eventually resulted in the Sandinistas narrowly losing the country's second election.

Exhausted and impoverished by ten long years of the war, people wanted the U.S. blockade lifted and Washington off their backs.

Many queued to receive their $40 each for voting for the U.S.-favoured candidate Violetta Chamorra – an irresistible bribe if you have an annual income of less than $200.

President George Bush called the result "a victory for democracy." U.S. State department official Elliott Abrams declared: "When history is written, the Contras will be folk heroes."

Today the United States stands condemned by the World Court of Justice at The Hague for the "unlawful use of force" against another, sovereign, state, Nicaragua.

The World Court ruled that "the United States of America, by training, arming, equipping, financing and supplying the Contra forces or otherwise encouraging, supporting and aiding military and paramilitary activities in and against Nicaragua, has acted... in breach of its obligation under customary international law not to intervene in the affairs of another state."

Afterwards, critics of the United States' policy in Nicaragua called it a "blueprint" for successful U.S. intervention in the Third World. A Pentagon analyst agreed: "It's going right into the textbooks."

Reportedly, Munshi became interested in terrorism while aged 15 and studying for his GCSEs.

Reportedly, he surfed 'jihadist' websites (which are often run by the CIA, Mossad and MI6).

Munshi, now 18, was in court with Khan and Muhammad.

"They denied 13 counts of alleging possessing articles for a purpose connected with terrorism and making a record of information likely to be useful in terrorism between November 23 2005, and June 20 the following year."

Simon Denison, prosecuting, said that in Muhammad's bedroom police found "dummy ammunition", a library of DVDs and CDs packed with propaganda, an SAS handbook, maps, photographs of a smiling Osama bin Laden.

Is Muhammad one of the small minority of Muslims who have not yet discovered that Osama worked for the CIA?

Or was the photograph planted by certain people? Do the police plant evidence in order to frame people?

Mr Denison said the MSN exchange between Khan and Muhammad about the secret Islamic state in Scotland occurred on November 12 2005.

He told jurors it began with Muhammad explaining how he and work colleagues had allegedly been chatting about emigration for Muslims feeling oppressed in Britain.

He then said: "So like maybe a remote part of Scotland - people were like 'What the hell?' - at least to a place where there were Muslim communities."

Victoria

The classic false flag operation was aimed against the Irish and took place in the 1880s during the reign of Britain's Queen Victoria.

Nationalists in Ireland wanted independence from Britain.

The British government devised a false flag operation to discredit the Irish nationalists, including their leader in Parliament Charles Stewart Parnell.

During the 1860s and 1870s, there were 'terrorist' Irish-American groups. One such group was the Fenian Brotherhood, Clan na Gael, an Irish-American secret society.

However, British Intelligence officers used the Fenian Brotherhood to stir up violence against British targets, so as to discredit the Irish nationalists.

The Jubilee Plot 1887

British government ministers, led by Prime Minister Lord Salisbury, decided:

(1) to use a double-agent Francis Millen to organise a 'plot' to blow up Westminster Abbey, thus killing Queen Victoria and half the British cabinet.

(2) to have the plot discovered and revealed during Queen Victoria's golden jubilee.

The Jubilee plot employed two Irish-American patsies, Thomas Callan and Michael Harkins. They were none too bright and missed their boat from New York to Liverpool. They arrived on the morning of the Jubilee, too late to reach Westminster Abbey.

After the plot had been revealed, the two Americans were arrested and sentenced to long periods in prison for conspiracy to commit terrorist acts. Francis Millen mysteriously managed to escape to New York.

Francis Millen's employment by the British secret service had been approved by Lord Salisbury, the Prime Minister. Salisbury's red ink 'S' is written on the documents.

Francis Millen, an Irish-American soldier of fortune, had been recruited in Mexico City. A letter from the British consul in Mexico, told Prime Minister Salisbury that 'XXX' was the code for Millen and that he was ready to start his first operation.

The Times printed sensational newspaper stories accusing Nationalist leader Parnell of supporting the Jubilee Plot.

However, the 'evidence' against Parnell was later shown to be a forgery.

Millen was offered £10,000 to return to Britain to act as a whistleblower. Shortly afterwards he was found dead in New York.

Lies from Sky News and censorship from CNN?

Pravda, on 16 August 2008, reports that Sky News used footage of the ruins of the South Ossetian capital, Tskhinvali, and claimed it was footage of Georgia’s key town of Gori, which they say Russian bombed.

"The channel simply used the footage of Tskhinvali, which was literally ruined as a result of Georgia’s attacks, to make reports about the situation in the town of Gori, which the Russian aviation supposedly bombed.

"Pravda.ru journalists concluded that the footage of destruction, fires and crying civilians used by Sky News in its Gori report was identical to the footage aired by Russian TV channel Zvezda (Star) when it reported about Tskhinvali.

"On Wednesday, Sky News made a report about Russian tanks supposedly advancing towards Georgia’s Gori (the information was subsequently rebutted). The company aired the footage, which showed that the small town had been destroyed.

"Georgian authorities and Western media outlets previously said that the Russian aviation had bombed Gori, which led to numerous casualties. Russia strongly rejected those statements.

"The footage aired by the British TV channel was preceded with a picture of a road sign displaying the name of the town – Gori – written in Georgian and English languages. The report also said that a Sky News correspondent was reporting from the Georgian town.

"However, the footage that followed the picture of the road sign was fake.

"Russia ’s TV channel Zvezda, which has five camera crews working in Tskhinvali, aired the same footage two days before, on Monday. Sky News showed its report with no sound, whereas the people showed in the Russian report could be heard speaking Russian and Ossetian languages. The crying people shown in the report were heard cursing Georgian President Saakashvili for destructions and manslaughter."

The Sky News footage has been removed from youtube. Is this a sign of guilt?

On 16 may 2008, Todung Mulya Lubis, Indonesia’s most prominent human-rights voice, was disbarred from practicing law by the Jakarta Regional Honor Board after another prominent lawyer, Hotman Paris Hutapea, filed a complaint against him for an ethics violation.

In a telephone interview with Asia Sentinel, Mulya Lubis called the decision “totally baseless and unlawful” and said he has little hope of winning an appeal.

“For me this is a conspiracy of corrupt lawyers who feel troubled and disturbed by my stand to play by the rules and consistently fight against corruption,” he said. “The accuser, Hotman Paris Hutapea, is known as the most corrupt lawyer in Indonesia, while I am regarded as symbol of an incorruptible lawyer. The judgment is outrageous and has killed my life, violated my right to practice law, and defied common sense and justice. I will appeal, but I am losing hope in the integrity of the Bar Association. The legal profession is rotten.”

Indonesia could be considered the classic new world order state.

Indonesia has an increasing number of billionaires and an increasing number of starving people.

It was the USA that put the military into power in Indonesia in 1965, and the military still pulls the strings.

The Indonesian elite increasingly use militarism and religious FUNDAMENTALISM to keep the FEUDAL SYSTEM in place.

"Several escort vehicles and motorbikes drove by, protecting a brand new Porsche Cayenne 4WD. It was a vehicle of a legislators, a man who should be saving for a Honda Civic on his official salary. A few feet away, street children were playing barefoot in the gutter, one of them showing clear signs of malnutrition. Forgive me, but I call that pornography.

"While the government is fighting Internet porn, tens of millions of Indonesian women are forced by poverty and hopelessness into the countless brothels in Surabaya, Batam and Jakarta.

"Millions of women who are raped or get pregnant out of wedlock are abandoning their infants and children, some of whom are left in the garbage bins or on the street.

"Country girls go or are sent by their families as 'maids' into sexual slavery in Saudi Arabia and elsewhere in the Middle East. As they leave Indonesia, they wear headscarves, so the state need not worry about their fate..."

Mysteriously, the Suharto family does not appear on the list.

In 2004 Bakrie was Indonesia's chief economic minister.[4] [5]

Bakrie was accused of nepotism. [6] In 2005, he became the Coordinating Minister for People's Welfare.

In May 2006 a drilling hole at Porong, Sidoarjo that was constructed without protective casings by PT Lapindo Brantas, a mining company of the Bakrie conglomerate, started a continuous release of hot mud that made many people homeless and threatens the local economy in East Java.



The May 1998 riots in Jakarta, apparently organised by the CIA and elements of the military, changed very little in Indonesia.

In 1998 Suharto stepped down and elections were held.

But, the generals, and families like the Suhartos, still pull the strings.

Indonesia's President Yudhoyono is a former Suharto general.

And the rich are richer... We stayed at the very popular Novotel... The hotel is now surrounded by multimillion dollar homes. Huge mansions bristling with stainless steel three-storey high windows and doubtless, an alarming number of bathrooms. I wondered hopefully if the owners paid taxes.

For the first time an Indonesian, the Minister for Social Welfare, made the list of Forbes 100 richest men. He is at the centre of the case of the ongoing destructive mud eruptions in East Java that have made life misery for many Indonesians. And for which the good Minister for Social Welfare refuses to take any responsibility.

Indonesia’s problem is not poverty but distribution. And the powers-that-be continue to refuse to acknowledge this - as do aid donors, including Australia. Policies that favour the rich, such as education fees, are still promulgated by the World Bank, eager it seems to live up to its reputation as an instrument of blind capitalism...

The World Bank, we were told by one of their consultants, had earmarked a US$800 million loan, ready to go.

Apparently no planning guidelines, or projects had been identified, nor guidelines for disbursal, monitoring or evaluation. It was simply a “give ‘em the loan and saddle ‘em with debt” strategy...

Soeharto, in effect, turned Indonesia into one huge franchising operation from which he and his family profited; and continue to do so.

The recent Bali Climate Carnival was held in Soeharto-owned hotels. While Sadam killed thousands and was hanged, Soeharto stole from and killed millions, and lives on. Justice is not a notable feature of Indonesia, or of American patronage...

The ABC Asian news services recently trumpeted that Jema’ah Islamiya had a membership of 9,000 ... What they failed to add was that in a population of 260 million, 9,000 does not represent recruitment success.

Repeatedly Islamic parties do poorly in the elections. Radical Islam is less popular than Family First.

But that could change. Officials in the Ministry of Religion are beginning to acknowledge that Indonesia could soon be an Islamic state given current Western inspired wars, impoverishment of Muslim communities, ongoing judicial corruption and mismanagement of community conflicts and misdirected aid...

Islamic schools are free and are used increasingly by the poor in the wake of user-pays education cost rises...

Indonesian’s major complaint to me was that user-pays education excludes the poor ...

Into this come the Muslim carpetbaggers from Malaysia and Saudi Arabia using Syhari’a principles to influence Indonesian children to take up the puritan form that they espouse.

I noticed a greater number of swathed heads and long gowns as well as an increase in the number of tragic threadbare beards...

But the message is the Saudi influence is biting.

The way to combat radical Islam is not by weapons, spies and training police, but by supporting the majority of moderate Muslims who want a good education for their children to open the doors of opportunity for which they don’t have the key.


There are lots of palatial new mosques being built in Indonesia, the world's biggest Moslem country.

Meanwhile state hospitals and state schools are as neglected as any in the Congo; the rich grow richer and the poor grow poorer.

Indonesia is a democracy and its government opposes Islamic extremism?

No.

Indonesia's President, Susilo Bangbang Yudhoyono, was one of Suharto's generals. Yudhoyono was trained in America.

Suharto married a Catholic and some of his key generals were Christian.

Suharto used the Islamists to do his dirty work, frustrate democracy and help keep the elite in power.

Suharto sided with the orthodox Moslems against the pro-democracy moderate Moslems.

President Yudhoyono, friend of America, may be little different from Suharto.

According to Dr Damien Kingsbury, head of philosophical, political and international studies at Deakin University: "Kopassus... has engaged in... hostage rescue missions. The first was in 1981, when a Garuda aircraft was hijacked.... Jakarta human-rights activist Bonar Naipospos told Asia Times Online: "General Suparman is one of the generals who was behind the extremist Jihad groups. He set up militias composed of gangsters and religious fanatics to counter student demonstrations in 1998. One of these militias, Pram Swarkasa, became the embryo of Laskar Jihad." According to a news story in the Sydney Morning Herald, November 2, 2002:

"Some time around the 30 October 2002, senior officers in the Indonesian military HQ gave a piece of information to a military attache from a Western embassy in Indonesia -the source of explosive used in the October 12 bombing in Bali was the head of the counter-terrorism unit with the army's special forces."

The father-in-law of the officer concerned is Hendropriyono, Indonesia's spy chief.

Allegedly, Kuwaiti citizen Omar Al Faruq played a part in the Bali bomb plot. Al Faruq was arrested in Bogor on June 5, 2002 and handed over to US authorities. Al Faruq was able to escape from custody.

Former Indonesian State Intelligence Coordinating Board (BAKIN) chief A.C. Manulang was quoted by Tempo as saying that Al-Faruq was a CIA-recruited agent.

The airline manifest of Garuda airlines shows that at least two generals from Jakarta visited Bali three days before the bombings and that they returned to Jakarta one day before the Sari Club was blown up. This was confirmed by armed forces chief General Sutarto, who claimed that General Djaja Suparman was on vacation, while General Ryamizard Riyacudu, chief of staff, was said to have gone to Bali for health reasons.

The World Values Survey is carried out by the University of Michigan’s Institute for Social Research.

The 2008 survey is published in the July issue of Perspectives in Psychological Science.

The survey consists of only two questions:

1. "Taking all things together, would you say you are very happy, rather happy, not very happy, not at all happy?"

2. "All things considered, how satisfied are you with your life?"

The survey is given to about 350,000 people in 97 countries.

The experts at Michigan University say there has been an increase in world happiness and the rise in happiness is most likely due to increases in:

1. democratization,

2. social tolerance

3. economic growth.

"Ultimately, the most important determinant of happiness is the extent to which people have free choice in how to live their lives. Policies that help increase the society's sense of solidarity and tolerance may also help."

The unhappiest countries were Zimbabwe, Armenia and Moldova. These are small countries but they have had their problems.

A new research report published by the Scottish Government shows the Scots are the happiest people in the UK and among the happiest in Europe.

On a ten-point scale, the Scots scored a "life satisfaction" rating of 8.06 compared to 7.2 for the rest of the UK.

The survey puts Scotland near the top end of the happiness scale, behind Switzerland and Denmark but ahead of Sweden and Finland.

Ukraine and Bulgaria scored less than five.

The survey asked people to rate on a scale of one to 10 questions on how happy and satisfied with their lives they were, and how satisfied they were with their jobs, their personal lives and their standard of living.

Wathelet - allegations of child abuse

In 1992, Belgian Justice Minister Melchior Wathelet released Marc Dutroux on parole.

Dutroux had served slightly more than three years of a 13 year sentence for raping young girls.

Dutroux was later convicted of having kidnapped, tortured and sexually abused six girls during 1995 and 1996, ranging in age from 8 to 19, two of whom he murdered. - Melchior Wathelet - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"According to a police document from the Dutroux enquiry, obtained by The Sprout, serious allegations about Wathelet’s involvement in paedophilia came to light.

"In these documents, a police source and senior psychotherapist informed a colleague of a session he had been having with a client. The client disclosed the details of events in Verviers (where Wathelet was Mayor) during 1992. He spoke of orgies that had been taking place in a country house where two children had been involved.

"These children, between 8 and 10 years old, had come from a children’s home, with the complicity of the director of the home. The 'party', it is alleged in the police documents, was organised partly by Wathelet. The client reported his involvement in the parties to the children’s welfare office in Verviers and to the local police. In return he received threats from both organisations and from other parties...

"This case was never investigated; as the police report confirms: 'the 2 dossiers on the child welfare services have disappeared'.

"Three years after this report, Wathelet became Belgium’s Minister for Defence in June 1995 but was rapidly nominated to the post of Belgium’s representative at the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg, where he arrived on the 2nd September."

The Jersey Attorney General, William Bailhache ( AG defends rape case bail decision)

According to The Times, 14 August 2008, the Jersey child abuse case appears to be being hampered by certain important people.

Jersey detective’s fury as release of abuse suspects 'scares off 'witnesses.

Lenny Harper, who was the senior detective in the Jersey child murder investigation, found the remains of five children in a former boys’ home on the island of Jersey (UK).

A memorandum from Lenny Harper claims that the investigation has been hampered by prosecutors in Jersey.

According to Harper, this is making the victims lose faith in the justice system; and it is making it harder to get witnesses to come forward because of fears that alleged perpetrators will not be put on trial.

Mr Harper claims that the island’s Attorney-General, William Bailhache, and his office are held in 'total contempt' by victims of child abuse after repeatedly failing to bring offenders to justice.

Mr Harper’s memo claims suspects are being freed without charge on apparently spurious grounds.

According to Harper: "This is illustrated by a briefing I have had from the NSPCC counsellor working alongside us. He has received a text message from a victim (which he has shown to me) to say ‘It is a joke. Another two walk away. No wonder no one will come forward’. "

Philip Sinel, lawyer for the Jersey Care Leavers’ Association, told prosecutors that crucial evidence was being withheld because victims did not trust the authorities. "My clients and others know far more than has been given to the police already," Mr Sinel said.

Mr Harper’s report discloses that William Bailhache, the Attorney-General, appointed a prosecution barrister, Simon Thomas, to the police inquiry.

Police claim that Mr Thomas advised them that a 70-year-old man and his wife, 69, believed to have been former foster parents, could be arrested and charged with grave and criminal assault.

The report states that Mr Thomas denied having given such advice.

They were taken into custody on June 24 but at 5pm Mr Thomas told detectives he had revised his view, citing as reasons that the wife was unwell, and that the couple’s children said their parents were 'good people'.

According to Harper, in another child abuse case, the police suffered delays after sending a file to Mr Thomas about Jane and Alan Maguire, who had run a care home. A previous prosecution against the Maguires for assault was dropped for lack of evidence in 1998 by Michael Birt, QC, then the Jersey Attorney-General.

Mr Birt is now the second most powerful judge as Deputy Bailiff.

The Maguires live in France and no extradition has been sought.

Sir Philip Bailhache, Bailiff, is head of Jersey's judiciary. He made a speech saying that no bodies had been found. As chairman of parliament he switched off a microphone when a senator tried to apologise for Jersey’s child abuse. He is the Attorney-General’s brother.

William Bailhache, QC, the Attorney-General, decides prosecutions and is legal adviser to the Jersey Government, in whose care the children had been placed. He was a partner in the law firm that represented alleged victims of Jane and Alan Maguire, who ran a care home. None of the clients received compensation.

Michael Birt, QC, Deputy Bailiff, was the Attorney-General who discontinued prosecution against the Maguires.

About 100 people have alleged abuse between the early 1960s and 1986.

Jersey Police searched the former children's home called Haut de la Garenne and found what they believe is a skull fragment.

The police have found 65 milk teeth and more than 100 bone fragments at the home.

Deputy Chief Officer Lenny Harper refers to people who have engaged in a "day by day attack" on the inquiry team and the alleged victims of abuse.

Mr Harper told the Telegraph: "I can quite clearly say that the investigation is being held up. There are people on the island who just don't want us going down the route of this inquiry."

Mr Harper gave details of why he is so convinced that someone deliberately concealed the bones and teeth of five children, perhaps after murdering them.

Mr Harper says that because some of the 100 bone fragments had been cut, and because the 65 milk teeth found at the home had roots on them, meaning they did not come out naturally, children were either murdered or their bodies were illegally concealed.

Police have 80 names of people suspected of physical and sexual abuse at Haut de la Garenne.

Harper said: "We are walking through treacle at the moment. One file has been with the Attorney General's office since April 29 and it's still showing no signs of moving at the moment.

Harper said of the bones: "They had been taken from one part of the building to another and put on top of the hard, compact, undisturbed original floor of the cellars. They had been spread about and covered with a thin layer of topsoil. Why would someone do that unless there was a deliberate attempt to conceal them?"

Mr Harper said tests on soot found with the bones showed they had been burned in a furnace in another part of the building, while archaeological evidence suggested they had been concealed in the 1960s or 70s.

Musharraf toppled by CIA?

It looks like the CIA has succeeded in toppling Musharraf.

There have been various reports that the CIA has been trying to destabilise Pakistan.

This was part of a series of events reportedly aimed at destabilising Musharraf and Pakistan.

There are a number of world leaders who, reportedly, were (1) put into power by the CIA and then (2) toppled by the CIA.

Why might the CIA want to topple Musharraf.

In 2006, Musharraf wrote a book in which he claimed that Omar Sheikh, one of the primary financers of the 9/11 attacks, may have worked for British intelligence during the 1990s.

“It is believed in some quarters that while Omar Sheikh was at the LSE (London School of Economics) he was recruited by the British intelligence agency MI6,” Musharraf writes in his book, In the Line of Fire: A Memoir.

"Two exiled former prime ministers of Pakistan will launch a joint attempt this week to drive the current president, Pervez Musharraf, from power. He has strong links with Washington.

It is possible that the CIA has for some time been planning to topple Musharraf and replace him with someone like Kiyani.

Why does the USA apparently want to topple Musharraf and replace him with a more clearly pro-American general?

In September 2006, CBS produced an interview with Musharraf. In this interview, Musharraf claims that after the 9/11 attacks, then-Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage threatened Pakistan's military intelligence chief that the U.S. would bomb his country 'back to the Stone Age' if Musharraf didn't cooperate with the USA. Suharto

Remember the fall of Suharto in Indonesia? Musharraf may be about to be toppled by the CIA in the same way.

At some point in the 1990s Suharto was seen by some Americans as having become too powerful and too independent minded.

Some people in the Pentagon considered the possibility of having a general such as Prabowo or Wiranto or Yuhhoyono take over.

In order to topple Suharto there would need to be riots.

The generals

In 1998 one of the key generals was Prabowo, son of Dr. Sumitro Djojohadikusumo, a former Finance Minister, said to have once worked with the British and the Americans against Sukarno.

In May 1998, Prabowo was commander of Kostrad, the strategic reserve, the regiment Suharto commanded when he took power in 1965.

General Wiranto, the overall head of the military, was seen as a rival to Prabowo.

The American Defence Secretary, William Cohen, was in Jakarta in January 1998 and he visited both Prabowo and Wiranto.

Students

At the start of May 1998, students were holding peaceful demonstrations on university campuses across the country. They were protesting against massive price rises for fuel and energy, and they were demanding that President Suharto should step down.

On May 12th, students at Jakarta's Trisakti University, many of them the children of the elite, planned to march to parliament to present the government with their demands for reform. The police prevented the students from marching.

Some time after 5pm, uniformed men on motorcycles appeared on the flyover which overlooks Trisakti. Shots rang out. Four students were killed.

Riots of May 13-14

On the 13th of May there were reports of rioting in the area around Trisakti. President Suharto was attending a conference in Egypt and the military top brass went off to Malang in East Java to attend a ceremony.

On the 14th of May, serious rioting took place in the Jakarta area. There were no signs of any uniformed soldiers on the streets.

Deaths

Over 1,000 people died during these Jakarta riots, most having been burnt in malls and supermarkets but some having been shot or beaten.

Alleged involvement of the military in planning the riots

Father Sandyawan Sumardi, a 40-year-old Jesuit priest and son of a police chief, led an independent investigation into the events of May 1998.

As a member of the Team of Volunteers for Humanitarian Causes he interviewed people who had witnessed the alleged involvement of the military in organising the riots and rapes.

A security officer alleged that Kopassus (special forces) officers had ordered the burning down of a bank;

a taxi driver reported hearing a man in a military helicopter encouraging people on the ground to carry out looting;

shop-owners at a Plaza claimed that, before the riots, military officers tried to extract protection money;

a teenager claimed he and thousands of others had been trained as protesters;

a street child alleged that Kopassus officers ordered him and and his friends to become rioters;

there was a report of soldiers being dressed up as students and then taking part in rioting;

eyewitnesses spoke of muscular men with short haircuts arriving in military-style trucks and directing attacks on Chinese homes and businesses.

There were reports of children being encouraged to enter malls and then of the malls being set on fire;

there were allegations that muscular men with short haircuts had gang-raped little Chinese girls and then murdered some of them.

Suharto told he had lost the support of the military

Some of Suharto's former allies deserted him. Wiranto allowed students to occupy Parliament. Reportedly Wiranto reported to Suharto on May 20th that Suharto no longer had the support of the army. Suharto was forced to resign on May 21 and was replaced by Habibie, his Vice President.

The continuing importance of the military

Wiranto remained as chief of the armed forces. Wiranto's troops began removing the students from the parliament building.

One result of the May riots was that the military appeared to remain the power behind the throne. In 2004, General Yudhoyono became president.

I had to visit the East Coast, and where better to go than Palm beach! This is quite a bit North of Miami.

In Palm Beach the place to stay is The Breakers, a vast five star palace with twin towers, Venetian arches, Persian carpets and vast chandeliers.

If you have money, and it's an election year (when you have a choice between one millionaire who supports the military industrial complex or another millionaire who supports the military industrial complex), you can attend Palm Beach political cocktail parties, listen to millionaire politicians pretending to be friends of Blacks and Hispanics, and pay several thousand dollars for the privilege.

Palm Beach has money. It's a place to stroll around, or better, drive around.

South Ocean Boulevard has a home with 117 rooms and a golf course. Number 702 is where John Lennon once lived. On N Ocean Boulevard is one of many palatial homes belonging to the Kennedys.

A little history:

When the white men arrived in Florida, many Indians were hunted like dogs or killed off by measles.

GEORGIA - WHAT REALLY HAPPENED

South Ossetia declared its independence in the early 1990s.

In a referendum, 99% of South Ossetian voters supported independence and the turnout for the vote was 95%^[8] and the referendum was monitored by a team of 34 international observers from Germany, Austria, Poland, Sweden and other countries at 78 polling stations^[9].

According to Moon of Alabama:

1. On the 8th August 2008, Georgian President Saakashvili launched a massive artillery barrage against the South Ossetian city of Tskhinvali.

Georgia used Grad multiple-launch rocket systems against civilian areas leading to mass casualties.

This was followed by bombings from SU-25 ground attack airplanes.

2. There was a small force of Russian peacekeepers in South Osssetia.

They were attacked by a multi battalion Georgian tank and armored infantry forces.

3. According to Russian sources the Georgian assault killed some 1,500 to 2,000 civilians.

4. Russia reacted by sending in a few extra forces.

While the Russian troops were still on the move, Russia asked the UN security council to condemn the Georgian attack and to call for a cease-fire. The 'western' powers at the security council declined to do so.

5. Russia then decided to send in more of its military.

The Russian Air force attacked military airports, radars, barracks and communication points.

6. Georgian civilian casualties seem to have been light. Russia did not attack economic or civilian installations like electricity plants, pipelines, or major traffic points.

The Russian Republic of Dagestan has oil and gas reserves.

It is next door to Chechnya.

Some suspect that the CIA uses Moslem militants to stir up trouble in Dagestan.

1. Chechen warlords have led armed operations in Dagestan on several occasions.

2. In 1995 and 1996 Shamil Basayev and Salman Raduyev crossed from Chechnya into Dagestan and seized hundreds of hostages in hospitals in the Dagestani towns of Budennovsk and Kizlyar. Scores died.

3. The Muslims of Dagestan have generally been keen to avoid the conflict that has afflicted Chechnya.

4. In the latter part of the 1990s there were reports that more radical and militant elements, said to be linked with Wahhabism, were acquiring influence.

5. There was violence in 1999 when an Islamic body was reported to have declared an independent state in parts of Dagestan and Chechnya and called on Muslims to take up arms against Russia in a holy war.

Chechen fighters crossed into Dagestan. The rebels were silenced but this incident contributed to the Russian decision to send troops back into Chechnya.

6. In 1996 and 1999, in Dagestan, scores were killed in Kaspiysk and Buynaksk when bombs went off near blocks of flats housing Russian officers. Dozens more died in 2002 when bombers targeted a Russian military parade in Kaspiysk.

In 2005, at least 10 died in a bomb blast in the capital, Makhachkala. In 2006, several people were killed in multiple explosions and shootings.

Dagestan

The CIA is believed to be trying to topple Musharraf and this means turning Pakistani soldiers and civilians against him.

Zawahiri appears to be being used by the CIA as part of its attempt to topple Musharraf.

The 'Zawahiri' video-tape message was handed to a Pakistani television news broadcaster.

Reportedly, Zawahiri says in the tape: "Let there be no doubt in your minds that dominant political forces at work in Pakistan today are competing to appease ... the modern-day crusaders in the White House and are working to destablise this nuclear-capable nation under the aegis of America."

In the tape, 'Zawahiri' claims that Pakistan is now "virtually ruled from the American Embassy".

Zawahiri reportedly says: "Pervez has insulted and compromised Pakistan's sovereignty by allowing the CIA and FBI to operate freely in Pakistan and arrest, interrogate, torture, deport and detain any person, whether Pakistani or not, for as long as they like, thus turning the Pakistani army and security agencies into hunting dogs in the contemporary crusade."

According to the Daily Telegraph, which often seems to represent the view of MI6, "Much of the hour-long address is an appeal to Pakistani soldiers to rethink their role in the fighting that has often pitted them against their countrymen, especially in the tribal regions."

1. Al-Qaida's chief brains and strategist is said to be Ayman al-Zawahri.

4. While Ayman al-Zawahiri was still at school, the president of Egypt was Gamal Nasser.

According to an article at Cooperativeresearch ( Context of 'October 1970-1981: After Nasser’s death, Sadat brings ... ), the USA and UK (and the US and UK oil and bank industries) did not like Nasser’s nationalist policies. MI6 and the CIA began plans to assassinate Nasser.

Egypt's Islamist Muslim Brotherhood also wanted to topple Nasser. Nasser outlawed the Muslim Brotherhood, which he denounced as a tool of Britain.

The CIA provided support for the Muslim Brotherhood because of “the Brotherhood’s commendable capability to overthrow Nasser.” [Baer, 2003, pp. 99; Dreyfuss, 2005, pp. 101-108] Saudi Arabia, an ally of the United States, gave money and and sanctuary to Muslim Brotherhood militants. Israel also preferred Islamists to nationalists.

6. Nasser died 'of a heart attack' in 1970.

7. Reportedly, al-Zawahiri became a fan of the Sayyid Qutb, who was a secular (non-religious) reformer in the 1930s, but who apparently became an Islamist in the 1950s and 1960s.

At Cairo University, Al-Zawahiri studied behavior, psychology and pharmacology graduating in 1974. Following that he served three years as a surgeon in the Egyptian Army.

8. In 1981, President Anwar Sadat was assassinated. Possibly the CIA had fallen out with him.

"According to Trento, Anwar Sadat had, by 1980, started an investigation into Mubarak's corrupt involvement with EATSCO.

"Both the CIA and Mubarak had motives to have Sadat dead.

"The CIA of course, having the contract to protect Sadat, possessed the means, at least to leave a critical security door open."

Al-Zawahiri was part of the Al-Jihad group which allegedly carried out the assassination.

Al-Zawahiri served a three year sentence in Egypt after he was found guilty in 1982 for conspiracy to murder in planning the assassination of Sadat.

Adel Darwish has written that, in 1986, according to an agent of one Gulf State Intelligence Service, al-Zawahiri moved to Peshawar in Pakistan 'where he was helped by the CIA to get arms, training and money for his followers to join the Mujahedine. ' According to the agent, the CIA were aware of who he was and his involvement in the assassination of President Sadat, but they gave him and his men new identities and new passports.'
