Plot to topple Rowan Williams

1. In November 2007, the UK Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams, sharply criticised both America and Israel. (Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams, gets political ...)

In an interview with Emel magazine in November 2007, Dr Williams denounced the United States for its “quick burst of violent action” in Iraq, creating the “worst of all worlds.”

In the same interview, Dr Williams condemned Israel’s security fence.

In December 2006, Dr Williams accused the UK government of placing Middle East Christians at risk through its actions in Iraq. (Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams, gets political ...)

2. In February 2008, Dr Williams made some mild remarks about Sharia law.

3. Now there would appear to be a plot by the 'Zionist' BBC and the 'Zionist' Murdoch press to use Dr William's sharia comments to punish Dr Williams and possibly get him sacked.

The BBC has devoted acres of space to stirring up a controversy about Williams and Sharia.

'Bash the Bishop ... give Dr Rowan Williams boot' declared Murdoch's Sun newspaper.

Dr Williams made no proposals for sharia, and "certainly did not call for its introduction as some kind of parallel jurisdiction to the civil law." (Williams hits back in sharia row)

He was "exploring ways in which reasonable accommodation might be made within existing arrangements for religious conscience" and his core aim was "to tease out some of the broader issues around the rights of religious groups within a secular state".
