Madrid Bombs

Madrid Bombs Trial
"Defense lawyers say the case against many of the 28 men and one woman is thin and based largely on conflicting witness accounts. 'Against the vast majority of the accused, there is absolutely no evidence,' said Eduardo Garcia, a lawyer... Garcia said many of the suspects already were police informants before the attack, and he claimed the arrests were made under pressure to find a culprit. Most of the men were North African immigrants, and many had long police records for drug trafficking and petty theft."Madrid Train Bombings Trial Begins

UK mainstream newspaper on 9 11 : "Could the attack be a carbon copy of Operation Northwoods, an aborted plan by President Kennedy to stage terror attacks in America and blame them on Communist Cuba as a pretext for a U.S. invasion to overthrow Fidel Castro?"
An explosion of disbelief - fresh doubts over 9/11
